"Human rights abuses Palestinians suffer include “arbitrary detention, house demolition, and collective punishment,” said Sam Bahour, a Palestinian whose children attended Ramallah Friends School.
Israel punishes Palestinians as a group, using destruction of infrastructure and confiscating of dead bodies, for the actions of Hamas, according to Bahour, who works as a business consultant and independent political analyst.
Asked to comment on the argument that Israel needs U.S. military aid to ensure its continued existence, Bahour said that the approximately $4 billion the U.S. sends to Israel is a small portion of the Israeli economy. Israel has a $550 billion economy so if the U.S. cut off aid, settlement activity would decrease but Israel would not face an existential threat, according to Bahour."

My name is HAMDI AHMED, and I'm a disabled Palestine queer. Tragically, my family's evacuation plans from Gaza were thwarted by the loss of my father, our breadwinner, during the genocide. Recently, my mother fell victim to an airstrike in Deir Al-Balah, leaving me without a home. With no income and relying on the kindness of friends, I urgently need to evacuate to Egypt for safety. Any donation, no matter how small, would make a world of difference. Thank you for your support.
You have 4 posts, your entire blog is 3 days old, and your profile picture is from google. Frankly it's fucking sickening that scammers like you would use a global tragedy to try and scam people like this.
If you want to ACTUALLY help Palestinian people in their fight against the Israeli government and the genocide they are commiting consider donating to charities such as the Palestinian Children's Relief Fund and sending letters to your countries government asking for them to get involved with calls for ceasefire and relief aid.

Nearly 1 Million Across U.S. Call For Ceasefire Now
In response to the mounting humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Amnesty International USAopens in a new tab, Avaaz, opens in a new tab Demand Progressopens in a new tab, Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL)opens in a new tab, MoveOnopens in a new tab and Oxfam Americaopens in a new tab delivered nearly 1 million signatures gathered by civil society organizations at the White House today, calling on President Biden to use his influence to bring about a sustained ceasefire between Palestinian armed groups and the government of Israel.
The pause in fighting, the release of people taken hostage by Hamas, and the release of Palestinians imprisoned, including children, by the government of Israel is a welcome relief for all those involved and their families. But far more is needed to address ongoing suffering and injustice. An immediate permanent ceasefire is essential to preventing further civilian loss of life. The violence has already resulted in a death toll of 14,800 in Gaza and over 1,200 in Israel, and this loss will only continue to increase without a ceasefire. The humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza has been escalating for weeks, with widespread internal displacement, massive loss of life, and the unlawful deprivation of critical resources like food, water, electricity, medicine, and fuel.

The attack on Gaza, which was launched after the terrorist attack against civilians in October, continues uninterruptedly as a genocide. The region, with a population of more than two million, has been bombed continuously for seven months. In the region where there are no undamaged buildings, hospitals, ambulances, women, children, journalists and aid organizations are targeted. Finally, mass graves were discovered in a hospital garden. What is constantly described as a "war" in the international media is actually nothing more than the murder of civilians in Gaza, including children and women. Because the war takes place between two armed groups. Today, there is no food or water to be found in Gaza, let alone weapons. Their entry into the region has been prevented and delayed for months. Children are dying of hunger and thirst, and are being killed.
Stop torturing and murdering defenseless, helpless children. Right now!

This Week in the Word: As Survivors Remember Hiroshima and Nagasaki, World Leader Discuss Nuclear Nonproliferation
Concerned by this growing threat, FCNL joined 100 interfaith organizations in calling on NPT members to act in accordance with their moral conscience. Our coalition urged leaders to recognize the incredible danger these weapons pose, affirm that nuclear war cannot be won and must never be fought, and take swift steps toward disarmament. Nuclear weapons are not just another implement in a…

Now is no time to cut refugee numbers
The following opinion piece was written by Marisa León-Gómez Sonet, the immigration and refugee program assistant at the Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL). It was published by The Hill on 4 November 2020.
The United States has long been a safe harbor for refugees. That should not change based on the whims of a president.
But the scale and scope with which the US continues to close its borders to refugees is unprecedented, and only getting worse amidst a global crisis.
Just last month, the administration announced plans to limit refugee admittance to historically low new numbers. Current law requires consultation with House and Senate Judiciary Committees leadership by Sept. 30 prior to setting this number. But this administration has never cared much what the law says. RT @FCNL: This is a HUGE deal. For the first time in history, a chamber of Congress has passed legislation to give DC residents the representation they deserve! 🎉🎉 https://t.co/2xYzH5NLn8 2PLAN22 http://twitter.com/2PLAN22/status/1276601350705610756

The holocaust in Gaza continues. Children are trying to survive against thirst and hunger among piles of rubble. If they haven't been slaughtered yet. While the threat of psychological trauma and epidemic diseases continues, they continue to die in aerial and/or tank bombardments. What kind of discipline can justify killing and torturing defenseless people and little children? What kind of discipline does not take steps to stop this brutality? What kind of discipline can see this situation, which shames us even as we witness it, as a victory? On the other hand, what is being done to those who say "peace"... We call it "ceasefire" in order not to be a part of this shame. To prevent the few mentally ill people who stand in the way of peace from shedding more blood. For Humanity. For the honor of humanity.
Stop torturing and murdering defenseless, helpless children. Right now!
