1992, dernier déménagement familial, mais pas le moindre : je quittais mon lycée adoré, des potes pour la vie & ce garçon ténébreux, aussi, qui n’a pas eu le temps de devenir mon ami (sombre Stéphane, on serait peut-être divorcés aujourd’hui, qui sait). J’avais pourtant trouvé une famille d’accueil, je voulais passer mon Bac à Angers. Fin de non-recevoir parentale, j’ai dû suivre le mouvement, murée dans un silence de rage. Partir. REM jouait sur une radio dans ce quartier & j’ai considéré que c'était bon signe, même si c’est la mort dans l’âme que j’avais consenti à venir visiter les maisons présélectionnées par mes parents… Au moins celle-là était marrante, des demi-étages sans couloirs, des papiers-peints baroques délirants, de l’écossais orange aux nénuphars roses… Elle nous a plu. J’y ai donc révisé mon Bac, en exigeant le silence absolu dans cette baraque où tout circulait, les sons, les gens, les chat.te.s. Direction la Fac, ce bâtiment qui m’intriguait depuis le bus scolaire avec son tag révolutionnaire, "Vive le dictariat de la prolétature", peint sur toute la longueur… Le slogan a disparu mais le coeur y est toujours & me rappelle de grandes heures de blocus foutraque… Finalement j’ai vite aimé Rennes, le TNB, les Transmusicales, l’UBU, la Salle de la Cité, la Bernique hurlante, le 1929, le Dejazey, la rue de la Soif, des heures et des heures de glande dans un bar de la place des Lices, du chocolat chaud à la binouze… Et les virées hiver comme été à Saint-Malo. Toute ma jeunesse. Aujourd’hui toute cette jeunesse est remisée dans des cartons. Mes parents quittent Rennes pour revenir aux sources, au bout de la Terre, là où ils se sont rencontrés. Là où je suis née. À l’heure de la périménopause, la boucle est bouclée pour moi aussi : je ne suis plus jeune & il n’y a plus de chemin qui me ramène à cet endroit. Plus rien que des cartons trop pleins pour me faire croire qu’il s’est passé quelque chose pendant tout ce temps.
