Yes, there is an actual Wallflower wine! So why not try pairing this Wallflower White Frontignac Semillon with The Perks of Being a Wallflower?! It’s got a really interesting flavor, which goes well with the characters in this book. A little bit sweet, a little bit salty, and lot a bit complex. Multitude of moscato
You would have to be teetotal not to have noticed moscato is booming.
Seeing the diversity of styles and flavours that abound, and the grape varieties that seem to be used, I looked up the Wine Australia web-site to see what varieties are legally permitted.
I was surprised to find there are 13. Some I had never heard of. In its home, Italy, it’s made from moscato bianco, better known as muscat blanc a petits grains, also known as frontignac. But muscat gordo, muscat of Alexandria, muscat of Hamburg, orange muscat, muscat ottonel, and even gewurztraminer are allowed.
In short, any muscat-flavoured variety can be used.
