Important Game Changer datapoint: Deja Vu was created with the help of the same mad genius who helped Sam come up with Escape Room last season.

Oh ok I finally worked out what's going on with Sam every episode. Every other episode he glances at his hands, because he's the only one stuck in the timeloop.
In the timeloop episode, Deja Vu, he's the only one who isn't stuck in the timeloop.
Because he's been here the whole time.

dude they're freaking BUILDING something. all the parodies of other game shows, without it tying specifically to the theme of the episode? I DON'T THINK SO. not with an evil mastermind like SAM REICH. everybody WATCH OUT. keep your eyes freakin' PEELED. because there's secrets happening. devious secrets.

In the latest gamechanger episode, i'm not sure if anybody else noticed but when everybody was being introduced again- the players in the 2nd round earliest- but yeah when they were introduced again for a very short second their title cards displayed a pun on their name relating to the loop !! in case you guys need it i decided to grab pics and stuff !!

[Photo ID: 7 images of contestants and guests of the episode's intro cards. Mike Trapp, Ify Nwadiwe, Siobhan Thompson, Sam Reich, Brian David Gilbert, Josh Ruben and Grant O'Brien. Except the names have been altered so that they reference the episode's 'time loop' theme and instead of their actual names they say 'Mike Trapped', 'Infinity Nwadiwe', 'Siobhan Thompsagain', 'Same Reich', 'Brian Déjà Gilbert', 'Josh Rewindben' and 'Grant O'Rerun'. Ify, Sam and Josh's cards are affected by visual effects like a glitched tv. End ID.]

that episode was like time-loop, late night with the devil, and V/H/S vibes altogether and I loved it!

I love gamechanger because where else are you gonna get episodes that leave you with a lingering sense of dread and an acute feeling it’s not over yet even after credits play?

Realization:
Sam Reich's performance on game changer has the same energy as Michael from the Good Place.
That one Brennan monologue of "I cannot win!" also has the same energy as Eleanor's "this is the bad place!"
Also in both shows players don't know the rules and sometimes learn important lessons about solidarity and empathy.
