That new episode of Gintama on Sunday was just beyond Amazing. We were barely one minute into the show and already they had parodied at least 5+ anime and don’t get me started on Shinpachi’s reaction/ commentary. Not to mention Umibozu’s appearance and into Yorozuya and them finding out about the boyfriend and-

I’m just going to skip to the ending of the episode

Last time you watched / read Gintama? 

Hmmm this year for sure, but I don't remember when exactly. Besides I have to check random chapters or episodes, when I'm writing fics

Favorite male character? 

What a surprise - Gintoki. Even if my first love, when I started watching Gintame all these years ago, was Sougo.

Favorite female character? 

You can’t make me choose only one. All gintaladies are amazing.

Favorite male character design? 

I love design of male versions of Tsukuyou and Kyubei. 

Favorite female character design? 

Hmm... I’d say Tsukuyo and famele Gintoki and Okita.

Most underrated character? 

Sakamoto, I guess. The idiot needs more love.

Best squad? 

Yorozuya. And not only main trio plus Sadaharu, but the Yorozuya in meaning of all these characters that became Gin-chan’s family. So most of the cast, I guess.

Favorite episode or arc? 

Oh boi. There were many, many episodes or arc that I love with my whole heart, but if someone put a gun against my head I made me choose only one, I’d say that Okita Mitsuba Arc.

OTP(s)? 

gintsu and okikagu

BROTP(s)? 

Kagura and Shinpachi, Gin, Takasugi, Katsura and Sakamoto, 

An unpopular opinion? 

I don’t think I have one. Maybe that in newest series there were too little jokes like in the first season. Like talkin for few minutes when the only thing on screen is yorozuya’s building.

Favorite running joke? 

Shogun kayoo!!! 

Favorite OST? 

The sad one. You know, which one.

Feelings about the upcoming movie? 

CAN’T WAIT TO SEE IT. I gonna probably watch it without any subtibles as soon as it’ll appear on the internet.

11. Is there an unpopular character you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why?yeah i loved jiraia. his design is so fucking cool. idgaf about the character itself and his writing or whatever, when his mutilated face with the eyeball popping out was shown i was swooning. i also deeply respect kada for being the only lady villain whose motivation lied not in some dude or being beautiful or whatever but in getting that $$ and power. ironically enough, out of the villains she had the worst fate. wonder why :)

from not the _unpopular_ ones but who get a lot of hate on a general basis i LOVE sacchan and tae, they’re both in my top 10.

If you could change anything in the show, what would you change?i’d return sougo to his original design bc if he were that girl she would be my #1 no questions asked, she’s so hot? sorachi can give me 5 breaks with his “no women in shinsengumi rule uwu”. dude you have furries walking around in daylight. you have pachinkos. there’s a woman vice-captain in the opposing police faction so cut me some slack.

also i would leave it be merely a comedy series like, say, saiki. as a comedy it is GOOD. as a fighting shonen it’s mediocre at best

25. How would you end XXX/Would you change the ending of XXX?im part of the majority here, the bad guys are all dead or Redeemed, everyone is doing fine, the yorozuya keeps its shaky business, everyone is back to their everyday life. but i think the kpop dude died? or something? so sorachi’s trying to make a meiji-like turn with the shogunate gone to hell and a new government, and if zura isn’t part of the ruling party im gonna sue
