Fantastic to see Earth being pursued! Out at the end of the year

The Heart killers - First/Khao and Joong/Dunk, director JoJo - assassin brothers Khao and Joong meet tattoo artist First and mechanic Dunk - described as a romantic comedy with lots of action sequences

Perfect 10 Liners - Force/Book, Perth/Chimon and Junior/Mark, director New - university setting with engineers and their mentees. Based on a Jittirain novel. Marc/Poon and Aou/Boom seem to be in this as well! Plus a load of other Gmmtv actors

Ugh, I 👏 am 👏 so 👏 fucking 👏 tired 👏 of 👏 people.

Why can't we never have nice things when it comes to BLs?

I am complaining here because this is the only space where people have their brains working or they don't care about it. So basically there was some fan project for Ping and Nut in that place in Bangkok (Pavel and Pooh had one too at the beginning) and there are some videos and moments and all the stuff (they even had like two big ass bouquets of roses). But ofc people can't shut up and enjoy things for once. So I saw some comments on how Nut isn't as "babygirl" and "touchy" and now seems to be uncomfortable with the whole ship.

Can I just repeat what I say before about pairings? I don't necessarily hate the pairings, the actors or the company in itself when it comes to this, I just hate the fans and what they do. And half of them are international which makes me more mad for some reason.

Like, I saw the clips, and I didn't think Nut was being any different than he always is, and he doesn't need to act madly in love and be over the top with Ping at all for this thing. Yes, ofc, the project was for them as a couple (which I will talk about it later) but they were just vibing with it and making jokes with the fans. Just because Nut has said he finds Ping attractive and their characters have some tension and story going on doesn't mean he is obligated to perform a certain way.

This leads me to my other concern with the Pit Babe pairings. So, as we know in Boys Journey, the production kinda, and I mean this as in a implicit way, sold the cast as pairs. The ost of the show is sang and dance in pairs, half of the characters in EP12 were presented as working in two if they weren't explicitly meant to be romantic, they usually made groups with the same people. Even before the show was "well established" they had magazine photoshoots (like Benz and Garfield in a Kazz inteview with PavelPooh and SailubPon). And now, some pairings have events. I mean implicit because until they make something on screen I will not buy any duo.

This looks like that Domundi situation where pairs where very well known but had 0 shows. Like, I remember liking NetJames before they were Bed Friend but then think it was weird how I and many other people were more attached to the performances in real life of these people than the ones on screen.

What's my issue? Pit Babe cast is mainly out of older actors and people who have gone and go out of different shows without fixing it with one person. Making them a fix unit like GMMTV, for me, is a waste of time. They are so talented, so good and they can go in so much stuff alone or with others than marketing this whole thing as it is is just... Idk.

Not everyone needs a couple, not everyone needs to work forever in pairs. Some clearly want to do it (Pavel with Pooh) while others said they want to have many partners (Nut).

Anyway............I hope all of the people in this cast who wants to keep working get to have many events, shootings, scripts and stuff happen to them and people who shit on them get fucked 😊.

Well the hand touching scene made me cry? Wtf is wrong with me.

JimmySea have too much chemistry. It’s so simple the changes in MhokDay’s interactions from ep one but every touch every action. Mhok counting the steps show so much gentle love it makes me sick with envy. I thought Vice Versa was a masterpiece in the chemistry build but I’m proven wrong. JimmySea are made to play opposite of eachother. For me in my GMMTV official couple ranking I’m moving them up (excluding NeoMark because not official)

Listen I’m a simple lesbian who grew up in a very homophobic place. Show me a rainbow and I’m gonna go crazy so… this song with the rainbows in the back just ughhh so beautiful. Doesn’t beat the Not Me scene but it’s up there for me.

Listen how many not kisses did we have this episode because it’s wild. Now I’m gonna be honest here I don’t like KBL JBL most of the time because of the lack of kisses and realistic intimacy (even if it’s hinted at it’s fine) HOWEVER last twilight has me blushing feeling like these boys be basically kissing just based on JimmySea’s chemistry. It’s insane. I won’t change this slow burn I’m savoring every moment.

hi! well frankly, every bl I love tend to feel like they're being overlooked by others bc they always deserve MORE in my eyes, you know? and also when we're talking about underrated, I don't just think about tiny series that are underrated, but also bigger shows who also get overlooked in one way or another. but I'm gonna try to limit my list & not only talk with my heart lol, though all of the bl shows I watch are ranked from my favorite to least favorite here in case you ever wanna check that out :)

not me: obviously I've ranted 50 times about how gmmtv & the bl audience failed this show, and I will make a full video on it so I'll just stop there, but this show??? DESERVES THE ENTIRE FUCKING WORLD! literally the most important thai drama ever made, I cry thinking about it every time lmao

mood indigo: so so so so so underrated & such an important show. it might get clouded by its explicit nature in certain people's eyes, but this show navigates societal expectations & queerness wonderfully, and it's such a well directed story. it tends to be overlooked bc it was a sequel, and it didn't get an official subbing & distribution platform.

my ride: such a cute show, I think people might overlook it like I initially did bc it seems like a really basic & mediocre bl show (and also there were a lot of subbing & distribution issues), but this one really captured my heart bc it was really well directed & written, and was original & quirky enough that it was still very compelling.

long time no see: THE original kbl, came out before the explosion so many newer fans don't know about it, but it's really, really good, and actually acknowledges sexuality contrarily to other korean bl shows. if it was released today it would be such a success, which is annoying bc it truly deserved more at the time of its release.

boys' lockdown: definitely one of my favorite filipino bl shows, it's short, cute & efficient, and had such relatable characters. it's not revolutionary but it really captured my heart bc it was really well executed imo. it was probably overlooked bc so many filipino bl shows came out in 2020 & it was one of the later ones so it got drowned with the noise, especially since the summary seems pretty basic.

his - I didn't think I'd fall in love: ugh, this show is so so special, definitely one of the most underrated japanese bls & it deserves the world. this one is so understated & sweet, and its message around sexuality is really important imo. also it has very compelling female characters, which I love. it's just such a lovely show, but it was probably overlooked again bc of a lack of official subs & proper hd distribution.

top 5 favorite bls of 2021 (from best to least best but still top-tier):

1. Lovely Writer

Still my no. 1 gem. I love it so so so much. nubsibgene have made their way into my heart and have taken over my existence lol. I've been rambling about it for ages on here lol so I won't go into it again. but it's my no. 1 this year and one of my all-time favorites for sure. 11/10

2. Don't Say No

There were some bumps in the road here and there but I still loved it so much. leofiat and leonpob were both so wholesome and all the characters had a very nice development. An unexpected masterpiece after the mess that was TT2 lol. A+, 10/10

3. Bad Buddy

Actually this one ties with DSN. I love it. Gmmtv, ohmnanon and Aof really outdid themselves with this one. The acting is outstanding and ohmanon’s insane chemistry elevates this entire production. It’s definitely matching all my expectations. Amazing. 9/10

4. To My Star

I keep forgetting that this aired this year dsjkfhd it feels so far away 🥺but ohmygod. masterpiece. iconic. elite piece of art. amazing. life-changing. I don't have any other words. They changed me as a person fjkhgfd. Can’t wait for season 2!! 9/10

5. Light On Me

UGH. my love. my heart. my everything 🥺. This was so insanely precious I'm still tearing up just thinking about it djgkfd. It got a bit stretchy and messy towards the end lol but omg it was so worth it. Shinwoo has quickly become one of my all-time favorite characters, I could go on for days about how much I love him djkghfd. Him and TK are just...... pure sugar. god. I love them so much 😩 9/10

These are the ones I wanna put on this list but didn't for the sole reason that they only recently started airing:

- Not Me

I mean c’mon.... it barely started and it’s already ending my life djghfkd. OffGun are absolutely SERVING and I'm so excited for the rest of the season. It looks extremely promising.

- Paint With Love

I said this before but,,,, this is a criminally underrated masterpiece. Please go watch it if you haven’t or if you’re hesitant or whatever cuz the rating that this is getting on MDL is not fair. It’s so well done. The cast is a colorful mix but they work so incredibly well together - all the characters could not be more on point (even the smallest extras who only have 1.5 lines lol) and the plot development is amazing. The story is moving at a very nice pace and the differences between Singto’s stuck up corporate character and Tae’s laid back artist character are absolutely immaculate. They click so well together and are both very well fleshed out characters in my opinion. The humor is on point too and have I mentioned the side couple? They’re adorable. I highly recommend.

1. Y-Destiny

I'm sorry but..... holy hell. what a disaster this was. TueAke and PuthKaeng were alright but the rest was a crime. It all felt like the writers hit the random button for the plot and lines because absolutely nothing made sense. It was all a giant cringe-fest with bad acting and the weirdest finale I've ever seen. sorry to anyone who liked it but..... are you alright jkghfd. 0,5/10 I'm still having nightmares about them all singing in the pool together. rip. 

2. Love With Benefits

This one was very clearly a fanservice show which means it doesn't make sense by default lmao. I started watching it for Best because I love him but not even he could salvage it for me. I was disappointed in Gameplay's performance which I had a lot of anticipation for. But he gave me nothing. The side characters were all bothersome and solely written for overdone comedy which was unnecessary. The only thing that’s nice about it is the soundtrack. 1/10

3. You Make Me Dance

This is just a personal preference but I didn't like this one at all. The story seemed weird to me and I couldn't get behind the pairing at all. sorry. 2/10

4. Nobleman Ryu's Wedding

this was???? so strange??? lmaoo. I would maybe give this a different rating if it was purposefully executed as a comedy but it was just strange and ridiculous. And not in a good way lol. Se Jin was very pretty but other than that it’s a thumbs down for me. 3/10

5. My Sweet Dear

I was very disappointed by this one too. I was excited for it and had anticipated it for a long time but it was a big letdown. The plot was not interesting and was moving way too fast. I know it’s a short series but one look at To My Star proves that there is a way to tell and develop a story properly in the span of only 8 episodes. Plus it was a waste of Eui Soo's acting talent in my opinion. 3/10

A Tale of Thousand Stars ep 9 thoughts/reaction

so gmmtv really decided to play with us this morning with those subs huh

au where torfun lives and finds a girlfriend who gives her all the love she deserves

they really give us this cute scene with torfun and phupha then come at me with “when i come back from bangkok” and remind me that torfun never comes back

the chaos of the scene where they bring phupha in

poor tian just hovering, wanting to do something, but unable to do anything to help

the tenderness of tian at his bedside and falling asleep next to him

thank you to dr nam for admitting his mistakes and apologizing

“i’m scared of losing everything i have right now” how did phupha hear this and still think tian would be happier elsewhere

tian’s dad keeps trying to use the mom as an excuse and it pisses me off bc like, they can visit?? she can see him whenever she wants, and tian would’ve moved out eventually or did she think tian would live with them forever? and i get that the mom would be concerned about tian living in a remote village but like she could adapt once she saw that tian was happy

like just say you don’t approve of your son being a poor volunteer teacher and go

“if you didn’t have fun, why would you run away from home?” the real answer that tian doesn’t want to say out loud is because he wasn’t happy at home

and tian’s dad just...doesn’t get it, doesn’t get why tian is happier here than he was at home, still thinks this is some kind of rebellion and it’s so frustrating for both of them

tian keeps talking about how he knows he eventually has to go home and i wonder if it’s ever occurred to him that he doesn’t actually have to, that he can choose the village, that he’s an adult and he can choose what to do with the rest of his life

i’m sorry but the matching slings were so distracting for me in this scene

the theme of self forgiveness in this ep is so good bc tian feels so guilty and he feels like he needs to make it up to torfun but it’s not torfun’s forgiveness that he needs it’s his own

especially bc torfun would be happy that at least her heart allowed someone else to live

god this whole scene is just so beautiful, with the sun shining behind them

when phupha said that he was also thinking about tian when he almost died and then cradled tian’s hand

so my predictions last week that the dad was involved in illegal stuff were way off, i genuinely so surprised that it was phupha who had been reporting to him (though in hindsight it does make more sense) but i slapped the table so hard when that happened

but oof, the angst is so real here and i love it

tian feels like his entire life has been lead and shaped by his family’s wealth and privilege and the village is the one thing he was able to do on his own and his relationship with phupha was genuine, then he finds out that this too was bc of his family’s wealth

and at this point i think even tian knows that phupha didn’t do all of that for wealth so he tries to get phupha to just say it, say that he genuinely cares for tian but phupha won’t say it and even confirms it and even if tian doesn’t fully believe him, phupha’s still being mean and saying that on purpose to hurt him and it does hurt

so tian accuses phupha of caring for tian for his own gain and even though that’s what phupha wants him to think it still hurts phupha to know that tian would believe everything he did was fake

and they just lash out at each other out of their own hurt

then phupha accuses tian of just having fun even though they both know that’s not true and it makes tian feel like the one person who understood him doesn’t actually see him

also i think it’s funny that phupha tried to be all mean for the express purpose of scaring tian off so he’d go home but tian, being the little shit he is, just digs his heels in harder

also i truly can not express enough how much i love and appreciate khama, like no wonder longtae is such a good boi when he was raised by khama

ugh, i can see the struggle in phupha’s eyes where he wants to drop the act and comfort tian so badly

poor longtae is so sad to lose his friend

tian is such a good teacher and it makes him so happy, how can anybody think he’d be better off doing something else

dr “despite all evidence to the contrary, i’m a doctor, not a therapist” nam

fuck, these scenes are supposed to be serious but i could not stop laughing every time I saw phupha with that fucking beard

the father’s like “i know my son well” like bitch, no you don’t, otherwise you would realize that tian is happier than he’s been in a long time and he’s not staying in the village as some way to spite you, it’s just that you and your lifestyle don’t make him happy

im sorry i still cant get over the beard

everybody keeps saying tian wouldn’t have listened if phupha asked nicely but did y’all really think asking meanly would work on this boy who stayed in the beginning out of spite toward phupha

they’re finally admitting their feelings so why does it have to be so heartbreaking?

tian wants to stay so badly and he wants phupha to ask him to stay so badly

phupha says tian doesn’t understand (why they can’t be together and why tian has to leave) but it’s really phupha who doesn’t understand

he genuinely thinks that tian was happy in his old life (and honestly why wouldn’t he?) and that tian is only staying in the village to assuage his guilt over torfun before leaving again to resume his old happy life, and that asking tian to stay would be depriving him of that happiness

but the village, teaching, phupha are all his happiness, he’s not giving anything up by staying but he’s giving everything up by leaving

and i think tian doesn’t fully understand that this is how phupha thinks so he doesn’t know how to explain to phupha what it would actually mean to him to stay

i also love how this show isn’t downplaying the other bonds tian has made, he wouldn’t just be staying for phupha, he would be staying for the kids, for the other rangers, for longate and dr nam--the whole village has become his family

tian looked really cute the way he bounced over to khama

god i can’t wait for next ep when tian decided to stay in the village forever and the angst is over and he and the kids get to celebrate and the kids don’t have to deal with the constant cycle of new teachers

longtae is baby and he just wants to keep his friend

tian not being able to count the stars because he can’t stop crying :(

we’re gonna find out what torfun’s wish was next ep and it’ll be something like the kids or the village or phupha being happy and it’ll be sweet as we and the characters realize that tian already carried out her wish without even knowing, no magic necessary

also i love that they used the version of the ost sung by aye (torfun) bc it really set the mood and also her voice is beautiful, i might like it better than the original

“you should do everything for yourself and not for someone else” it’s painful bc if tian really wanted to live his life for himself that would mean staying but phupha only thinks he’s staying bc of torfun

i need fanart of torfun’s ghost hugging tian and saying thank you

but your story doesn’t have to end!!!

we finally get to learn about the ring and it’s literally phupha’s heart and he gives it to tian and still sends tian away?!?

im not crying, you’re crying

tian is doing the lord’s work shaving off that ugly beard

the way his thumb brushes his lip

so, great ep as always, very angsty, both more and in different ways than i expected

can’t wait for next week when everyone finally gets to be happy, i will totally cry when tian tries to leave the village and is saying goodbye to everyone
