Do you have a fic you started, but scrapped?

TOO MANY TO COUNT… but ok i think the most notable one i have is this one subaru character study i was working on. i got pretty far into it and had a whole outline and everything—it was a twoshot second person pov fic (subarus pov!!) where the whole thing is written in a quiz format. and i gave it a super on the nose title (“to question the stars”….. YEAH ITS ON THE NOSE…) and chapter one was supposed to speed through arcs 1-4 up until echidna offers the contract. this is bc this was ACTUALLY a greed if fic in disguise and ch1 ends with subaru saying yes to the contract. uhhh i have a screenshot of the (Very unfinished) part where this happens:

ok yeah and then the entirety of ch2 is supposed to go through the events of greed if and end on the question “who is natsuki subaru?” which would mirror the first question of ch1 being “who are you?”. 👍👍

uhh except i scrapped this fic bc i worked on it like…. two years ago?? maybe almost three?? ive improved at my writing over time i think so this greed if fic at the time i wrote it was Hard for me to work on. especially bc the greed if ln didnt come out yet so i was doing so much guesswork at how certain things happened skdndn. and also i kept wondering who would even read a second person pov fic in a weird format like this…???? plus i wanted the fact that it was a secret greed if fic to be. you know. Secret until the end of ch1 of course but i was like hmmmm but will anyone read this bc it looks like your standard run of the mill canon compliant arcs 1-4 fic at first. and then i promptly forgot about this fic and went on to write other things hah!!

i Do think this idea has potential though and i do love finishing things for my own satisfaction so maybe ill go back to it!! plus i dont write a lot of greed if fic. bc i think its honestly the Hardest to capture in terms of subarus absolutely Insane mindset. but ok if anyones curious heres a few stuff i wrote for this fic!!

yeah idk if i ever went back to an idea like this id write it differently now compared to how past me did it but i think past me mightve been onto something!!
