ok I'm barely any way through Yakuza Kiwami 2, but I gotta say that although I miss the different battle styles, Sotenbori and Kamurucho look stunning

#rambling #yakuza #ive just met ryuji goda and am heading towards a screen showing an explosion #i haven't seen majima yet but obviously sotenbori is so connected to him he can't be far off #I wasn't sure about the new engine because it does use 100% of my gpu usage however i was running it at 2k and 144fps #i lowered the fps to make the usage dip a little because although it'll be fine during the day i dont wanna wake anyone up #fan speeds at like 2800rpm are noisyyyyy #but yeah i was shocked when kiryu just walked into a store with no screen in between #i would kind of prefer the camera to be pulled back a bit but its fine as it is #a thing i don't like is the start of street fights cos in 0 and Kiwami you get the nice intro music and you get your pose #in this there is no clear 'fight starting' jingle and the enemies kinda linger for a second or two which is :( #not having the different styles is a shame too but i did read online and someone said that kiryu should have an established fighting style #at his age lmao

commuting by bus every day is like: i hate this why do i have to get up so early. i love looking at the sky through the window. why is it so noisyyyyy. oh a good song came on. i am so bored. reading on the bus is so much more comfortable than on the train. i always see this person on the bus. i usually see that person when i'm going home, that's odd. i'm so tired i want to sit down and decompose. wait actually this person needs a seat, nevermind, i'm good. oh look it's my favourite bus driver, he's always so nice. oh no, that driver is a dick, he closed the door in my face last time. oh this is the bus driver that has seen me cry on my way home, that's awkward. i'm finally going home, it's been a long day. fuck, i won't be home in more than half an hour, i am so tired. it's so dark outside and for what. the stars are so bright tonight. everything is so peaceful.

#romanticising buses because i haven't been left the house in days and my neighborhood in weeks #for health reasons but it's getting better :)
