season 4 special spoilers undercut

so idk about you guys, but when i first watched the special a tiny part of the argument part kinda stuck with me and it would not leave me alone lol

“you’ve become like this obsessive demon!”

mk: “so, monkey king really was a bad guy?”

mac: “thats what i believed.... what azure would have you to believe.”

yeah azure made mac question/ doubt his friendship with wukong. it might also be just me, but mac calling him an “obsessive demon” doesn’t seem like something he would say, feels more like something azure would.

ok last thing but this part in season 4

this is after wukong got out of the mountain and is with the monk, peng and yellow tusk are already convinced wukong betrayed them and they should probably strike him first. mac on the other hand wasn’t so quick to label wukong like that, it seems like he’s running different scenarios/ options as to what is really going on, but he’s shot down yet again. this scene cut away before azure put in his thoughts on the matter, but it was obvious what was decided.

now, did they have a part in the fight between mac and wukong? maybe. mac might’ve just went along with whatever they had planned and things got bad real fast. maybe mac tried to warn the pilgrims, but it wasn’t in time or they just didn’t believe him? there are so many ways it could have went.

lol who are you looking for? like damn don’t worry, mac will show up, wukong.

shows up only to tell wukong he stinks, yet wukong doesn’t throw a crayon at him might take out his other eye

Ok but... in this alternate where Wukong met the crew a few years before the show while he was pregnant via stone egg with MK, MO would just be a baby kitten. So there's actually three babies, Little Mei, Kitten Mo, and the Egg/MK

hehehe; I thought up of an adorable idea for the TMKATI au when Sandy was still getting used to his therapuetic side.

Sandy tends to feed the cats that gather at the dockyard, simply because it's good luck/he smells like fish to them either way.

Then one day this scraggly feral cat just refused to leave his boat, even when Sandy tried scaring it off. Sandy just sighed and started leaving around newspaper litter + a food and water dish for his invader.

One day he awakes in the cabin to hear tiny mewing...

Whoever was the father of The Lady's (as he nicknamed the feral feline) litter was clearly not a normal cat. The fur patterns and colours of the five kittens was super odd, and one is even born with two(?) even tails.

Mo was the forth born kitten, and clearly the runt. After a few hours of failing to feed, Sandy panicked and brought the whole box of cats to the nearest vet for help. Mo was simply too weak at birth to nurse from his mom, and required tube/bottlefeeding for the moment until he built up enough weight to be transfered back to mama.

Sandy barely slept a wink in the next week. Hovering over the makeshift incubator with a bottle of kitten formula ready to go every two hours on the hour. An entire notebook documenting the kitten's weight and movements at each intersection.

And when the little blue-and-orange tabby finally winked open his eyes, Sandy knew he was keeping this one.

The Lady and her litter managed to find homes with help from the local animal shelter; most being adopted by supernatural couples who could manage unexpected traits. But little "Mo" (named from the big guy scrambling the name "Mao Mao" with "In a moment" while he was preocupied with the kitten) was staying with Sandy, no doubt about it.

Mo is introduced to MK and Mei once he's big enough to tolerate/dodge grabby little monkey paws and curious dragon snoots. He's always been there as far as the kids are concerned.

Sandy actually worries if Mo is getting on in years (cats can live past 20 but thats a generous number) by the time of LMK, but since Mo is half-not-normal-cat, he's still as spry as a tom in his prime!

so hey guys did i tell you i'm a multishipper?

and its mostly with macaque bc BRO he's cute with a lot of people ok (*cough* rlly just shadowpuppet, shadowpeach, and inkypages i don't got nothin else *cough*) (*cough* unless you count self shipping kljfadkjfs *COUGHCOUGHCOUGH*)

anyways i'm gonna start writing a shadowpuppet fic cause like, i thought i'd hate this ship but then i started thinking about it and saw some fanart and realized "yk this could be really cute if i work it right"

so bam

have my fanfic notes:

(Before)

Macaque runs into the Mayor by happenstance as a war general and they become friends (reluctantly, from the Mayor's POV)

Macaque gets yoinked by Wukong

Lady Bone Demon revives Macaque and instructs him to bring her back

Macaque ignores and runs off, trying to find his one friend he still had

Macaque finds the Mayor, but he's possessed

Macaque gets upset and leaves in a huff

(After)

Macaque is going to visit the girl possessed by LBD

The Mayor is just kind of sitting on a park bench, still looking beaten up

Macaque goes to fight him at first, but then realizes the Mayor isn't crazy anymore (to an extent; he misses LBD, but is just angry and depressed)

Macaque reluctantly offers to help him, and the Mayor hesitantly agrees to it

Macaque brings the Mayor with him to visit the girl

Girl calls them her dads (they aren't happy about the insinuation of being dads together, but still care about the kid so they just go with it)

Cute hijinks ensue, such as…

Mayor takes Macaque to the eye doctor after finding that he's nearsighted (Macaque claims that everything looks blurry to him, Mayor is completely baffled that he's done nothing about it and didn't know it wasn't normal), Macaque is slightly nervous the whole time, Mayor teases him about it slightly but stays with him the whole time

Seem to actually be kind of getting along, then lock the girl in the car, then instantly fight over who's fault it was

Other cute stuff if I can think of something aksjdfkjsd

Mayor and Macaque start kind of helping each other through their attachment issues (?)

Mayor and Macaque grow to be friends again (possible conversation about before?? maybe??)

More cute hijinks ensue

Eventually tiny signs of them gaining feelings for each other pop up (takes a bit; its a slow burn after all)

Some type of conflict happens?? Like maybe the girl gets taken or is in danger and they go angry dad mode

They get together :))

End?? Maybe?? Unless I decide to add more cute stuff or smth hehehe

(also i know the girl has a name i just keep forgetting it until i've already made the post KJDLKFJA)

Wait, we covered how DBK and Sun Wukong and Iron Fan reacted to bull Shan and monkey Jiayi. What about the other grandparents, Pigsy and Tang?

Pigsy has never been on team Spicynoodles, but obviously since his kid loves the dumb fire demon, he’s had to suck it up for MK’s sake. So when Shan comes along and she’s basically a tiny version of Red Son, I mean, at first he might instinctually not love that, but he’s a good grandpa so he never says anything and loves her all the same. In fact, he ends up loving her so much that it even softens his view of Red himself just by association. Then when Jiayi takes after MK he’s thrilled to see not all of their babies are gonna just look like tiny Red Sons lol

Tang is not at all surprised that Shan takes so much after Red, and finds her absolutely charming from the start! He IS a little surprised by Jiayi being a literal monkey demon though. He knew about MK having a monkey form and that he uses it most of the time now, but he didn’t expect it to like, actually affect his DNA?? MK started off as a human, after all. He starts to think about the logistics of it for a moment and ponders about what may have caused Jiayi to end up looking the way he did. Did the Monkey King’s powers actually change MK’s DNA so he’s a monkey with a human form and not the other way around? Or maybe it just changes around based on the form he’s in at the moment? To find that out, he’d have to know what form MK was in when he and Red were- WAIT. NOPE. He stops that train of thought right at the station... and he decides some things are probably best left a mystery heheh :U
