Halloo Hemmy! I love that you are so supportive and enthusiastic in reccing stories and writers. Do you have a favorite genre (horror, drama) and/or trope (eg. Slow burn, enemies to lovers) that just grabs you from the get-go?

I think the genre takes a back seat to the trope for me. I love a slow burn, enemies to lovers, meet-cute, friends to lovers, and best friend's sister. I am not into huge age gaps though, 2-5 years when both are in the same decade and both over 26 is my personal guidance.

I am in my sappy era and have no shame. I can handle all the violence that usually comes with the Javi P stuff but I am not into horror. I know tentacle stuff is a popular trope but not really my thing.

To the anon asking about the Evanstan fic I rec’ed, I’m going to put the replies to your questions under the keep reading tag so as not to spoil anyone else:

I’m sorry some of the things in this fic upset you, I wasn’t aware there was anything that warranted a warning to be honest, otherwise I would’ve of course mentioned it! Like I said, I personally loved this fic a lot, and I didn’t experience any of the things you’re mentioning as being a problem or ruining anything, because Chris is so clearly infatuated with Seb, and all the other relationships mentioned are completely platonic, and Evanstan is 100% endgame. Still, if you find any of it triggering for whatever reason, you are of course under no obligation whatsoever to keep reading! Please do look after your own mental health first.

In my view, the author of this fic just envisaged Hayley and Chris being close platonic friends - which, at one point, it seems like the were, even if they might not be any longer - so I don’t see an issue with that myself. All Hayley does in this fic is help Chris and Seb get together, so that’s good enough for me (I have myself written a fic in which she does the same thing, after all!) Fair warning for if you do decide to keep reading: Chris is also close with Scarlett in this fic, but again just platonically. As for the Evansworth you mention, I’m afraid I’m not sure what you’re referring to? Unless you mean the fact that Chris says he admired the way Hemsworth pulled off long hair? To me that doesn’t qualify as Evansworth because Chris has gushed about Hemmy irl much more than that haha, and I’ve never for a second thought it’s anything other than objective/platonic appreciation tbh!

So yeah, while I’m glad to hear you normally trust my recs, you should absolutely make up your own mind about whether you think it’s worth the risk of continuing if you’ve found it to be upsetting so far, but once the introductory part is over, it’s all about the boys, I promise. I personally definitely think it’s worth it to read the whole thing, otherwise I, as a die hard and very loyal Evanstan shipper, wouldn’t have recommended it! If you’ve read anything by me/any of the fics I’ve rec’ed in the past, you know I would only ever rec something that is all about Chris and Sebastian’s love, and in which Evanstan is endgame, which is very much the case in this wonderful fic! ❤️
