Day eleven of the Countdown To Valentine's Day collab with the wonderful @simmireen and @simmerianne93 , and my last solo gift for the collab!

My gift for you today is a set of poses I made for my story last year, and really wanted to share at the time, but I'd made them with custom rigs and it turned out they really didn't fit with two regular-sized Sims. 😆 So after a lot of adjusting and fiddling, I've got something that will hopefully work for the majority.

These poses were made with masc rigs, and should be fairly gender neutral (underwater hand placement is deliberately ambiguous - it's suggestive only); but, as always, there may be clipping or floating depending on body type.

Decisions

The guys have been struggling with a decision. We all know by now Damian one part of a twin, his sister is married to Straud. Recently they have been feeling what people like to call "empty nest syndrome" i guess, and apparently they did not hide is well enough, at least not for Christen (Damian's Twin). Then again, most twins seem to have a magic mood-radar for their other half, so maybe we should not be surprised. Anyway to get to the point, Christen has offered to donate her eggs so that Stefano and Damian may have a child that is, DNA-wise, a full mix of Damian and Stefano. In the next images they are discussing if it is not to weird to A) have a child at all at their age and B) should they go for IVF with a surrogate or is it better to adopt a little one...

D: I bet Lucian would hear us out, look at his phone and hang up without answering, grumbling about "those old coots" to Tristan.

S: It would also mean no late night live snacks, can't have the child waking up while I have my fangs in someone neck...

S: But gawd I hate this cold goo, it's tasteless and I need so many bags to be sated!

D: Sacrifices need to be made Stef, can't have it all...

S: We shall have to sleep on the decision a few nights, at least finish this effing degree for that newfangled sh.. err stuff "computer Science"...

His Prince

I made this as a self-indulgent treat for myself because I really wanted to capture the specific way in which I imagine Sax looking at and admiring Fen. Yes, I have issues. No, I won't be accepting criticism. 😌🤣

Twelve floor poses (you can use TOOL or WW pose player to raise them onto a bed), all-in-ones included. These were made with masc rigs and there is likely to be clipping/floating depending on body type and clothing.

My first posepack for the Countdown To Valentine's collab with my loves @simmireen and @simmerianne93 is this spicy pack of 9 poses for use on a loveseat/two-seater sofa! Just place two teleporters in the middle of the loveseat. These poses were made with the Squarely There Modern Loveseat (base game) and femme rigs; they are mostly gender neutral but there might be some clipping or floating depending on Sim body type and furniture used. Magic Lessons

This was a commission for ShySims4 and I've got to say I had a LOT of fun with it! The pack contains 4 paired poses between an adult and child, and two solo child poses. All child poses also have three expression variations: determined/focused, happy, and sad. Oh, and you can use the child poses from the paired sets as solo poses, too.

I don't normally edit my cover photos unless the poses were used in my story, but I couldn't resist with this one. 🤭

Baby’s First Steps and Baby Hugs (Infant Version)

Another double pack day, because technically neither of these are new - I just updated them to work with infants. They were both originally made for my wonderful friend @simmireen , for use with the stage 3 toddler preset; if for some reason you want that version of the Baby Hugs poses, it’s still available here. The First Steps posepack was never actually released publicly because by that point I knew infants were coming, and figured the preset version would quickly become obsolete. 

Please note: currently, in order to pose infants in game, you need to wait for the infant to finish the little sitting up animation they do when teleported in (sometimes they won't even teleport until they've done this). Poses will cancel out if you queue them before this animation is finished. I also recommend the Bye Bye Baby Rug Hider mod by @buildbuymode, because when I teleported in my infants the rug usually came with them.

These were made with masc rigs, and as always there may be a little clipping/floating depending on body type, clothing, etc. Remember that height sliders will mess up pose alignment.

Sit With You

Today I'm sharing a sequence that I made for my story! As always it's potentially niche, in that it involves a kid showing/talking about their bracelet, but hopefully it will come in useful to someone anyway.

There are 9 paired poses plus all-in-ones. The poses were made for the stone bench in the Romantic Garden pack but should fit most flat benches, although there may be clipping with back/arm rests.

Carriage Travel & Sitting Proper

Starting the year with a twofer day! Most of these were poses that I originally made for @thesimnova some time ago, for use on a flying ship, but they worked remarkably well for a carriage scene I needed recently.

I figured they might be useful to others, but then I also thought... these are quite niche. Why don't I make normal bench/chair versions too? Plus some other random poses I'd made for myself. My story is currently featuring a lot of royalty and I realised I was in dire need of Sims sitting on chairs that weren't intended to be sat at tables. 

You will need: - Pose Player - Teleport Any Sim or MCCC - any bench* or chair for the Sitting Proper poses - The medieval carriage by @notsooldmadcatlady for the carriage poses (surprise!)

Not required, but recommended, is the Buckley Camera Mod. Personally it's a must have for me for all screenshots, and I'm sure it made it a lot easier to get the camera inside the carriage and work with the angles!

*Made with base game bench, but alas, not all benches/sofas are the same height so there may be clipping/floating.

Group Chat

Back already with another dumb posepack! I made this set last year for a scene in my story, but never shared it because I thought it was too niche. I stumbled across it again recently and shared it on my IG stories, asking if it was useful to anyone; 4 living people said it was, so I gave in to peer pressure and here we are.

Five group poses for five Sims, plus all-in-ones. One Sim is mostly being supportive and listening; one Sim is being questioned/is probably unwell; and the other three are baffled/concerned/confused.

Please note: I have tidied my original poses, but there WILL be some clipping with the cuddling couple because, although Sax is masc frame, he has a femme body preset and is also super skinny... I normally adjust for this whenever I transfer my story poses onto default rigs to share with you all, but in this case it would have required a LOT of fiddling, and I couldn't be arsed. 🥲

Also, in the interests of transparency: I'm pretty sure I ripped EA cross-legged poses to use as bases for my two girls.

Lute With Toddler

This was a commission for TheBatAndHisClown! 6 paired poses plus an all-in-one for an adult introducing their toddler to the lute. The adult was made with a masc rig and, as always, there may be clipping or floating depending on body type and clothing.

I forgot to take a teleporter placement picture, but you just need to put two teleporters in the middle of a bench!

Please note: these poses were made using the base-game bench, and there may be floating or clipping if used with others/sofas because, much to my endless annoyance, not all benches and sofas are the same height. 🥲

Day five of the Countdown To Valentine's Day collab with the wonderful @simmireen and @simmerianne93! Holy Waters

Day eight of the Countdown To Valentine's Day collab with the wonderful @simmireen and @simmerianne93! My gift for you today is a fantasy pack for two lovers and a mysterious well. A healing spring? A ritual spot? Or just some magical bath bombs? Your choice! Please note: the pond object is actually very shallow, so I sunk my rigs into it to give the appearance of depth (and to hide the naughty parts!). If you're using Gshade/Reshade with MXAO then it might highlight some edges, but you can always mess around with angles.

Dads And Me

In a real win for procrastination, it's taken me 2 years to get round to making this pack. When I first started telling my story I really struggled to find poses for an only child, and I kept meaning to make some of my own but never did. I finally created these because I wanted them for a video I made for the Adviento Simmer 2023 collab, which I was very kindly asked to be part of!

The adults are both masc frame and there may be some floating or clipping depending on body type and clothing.

These poses have been annoying me for months lmao. I made them last year but ran into a couple of issues: at the time, all-in-one horse and rider poses posed out of alignment when placed off-lot with TOOL, and I also couldn't stop the reins from clipping in game (they are posed, and don't clip in Blender). I specifically wanted poses with reins because I have a hard time drawing them in, as I only have a mouse.

My off-lot bug seems to have been solved, and although I still haven't figured out why the reins are slightly off in game, I figured it probably doesn't matter: in the time Horse Ranch has been out, I've noticed most people draw reins in themselves.

I adjusted them slightly to work with the gorgeous new medieval saddle and stirrups by @morningstarequestrian , since that's what I'd be using my poses with, but although the rider's feet are resting on the stirrups in Blender, in game they hover. I don't know why and by this point I don't care enough to find out LMAO.

I've kept the original placement of the rider's hands and the reins on the horse rig, so you can use it with the LeiaMaria bridle for posed (but occasionally clipping) reins, or with any other bridle and draw the reins in yourself. In medieval art, most horses are shown to have two reins (one decorated, one 'normal') so I think using it with Morningstar's Medieval Bridle like this works fine (I would have drawn reins in myself if I wasn't lazy). The poses work with EA saddles, but I don't have other CC saddles-with-stirrups so can't say if the placement is off for others.

Hospital Visit

These were some poses that I made for RoxanaFaeLacerta back in January! I've created a bit of a backlog for myself so I'll try and release poses more often for a while rather than continuing to sit on finished packs. 🤣

There are 7 couple poses for one Sim visiting/speaking to another (who may be dead or unconscious) in a hospital bed. As always when I make poses using this set... do NOT use them without the blanket. In order to fit a Sim under this blanket without major clipping, I have to break them physically, spiritually, and mentally. You do not want to see what lies beneath. 

These poses were made with masc frame Sims and there may be clipping or floating depending on body type and clothing.

You will need: - Pose Player - Teleport Any Sim - upright hospital bed and short curved blanket from this set by AnotherSimsStory - no pillow!

Coffee Chat

These were a commission for the lovely BohoSims!

You will need: - Pose Player - Teleport Any Sim  - any 3-seater sofa - this coffee cup acc by SimmerBerlin (the one called 'sb_appropriatelycaffeinated_coffeemugacc.package'!)

Six paired poses plus all-in-ones for a Sim being comforted. Both Sims require the coffee cup acc (found in Hats), and the poses were made using a base game 3-seater sofa.
