It’s unholy, the sounds you’re making but they sound more glorious than a church choir and promise to take him to heaven all the same.
Moans freely fall from your parted lips, incantations of your lover’s name following a breath as he drags your pleasure out using only his fingers. Your face is the picture of ecstasy, eyelashes flittering together as you struggle to keep your eyes open, too overcome by his hand at your cunt and his lips on your ear. A single utterance, no– an order makes you fight your heavy lids, your gaze coming to focus on the tense figure seated on a chair by the end of the bed. “Keep looking at him.”
Him being Serizawa. Your friend. His employee.
It’s all so filthy, this little arrangement of yours. Reigen, the teacher. Serizawa, the student. And you? Why, you're the perfect teaching model.
"Are you paying attention, Serizawa?" Reigen asks but he can already see it in his eyes; the man is absolutely mesmerized by your expressions of rapture, dutifully following every sigh, every whimper as you writhe in Reigen's hold. Serizawa’s eyes, wide with intrigue, trace your form, following the curve of your legs as you keep them spread and bent for his viewing pleasure. He’s committing to memory what makes you tick, keeping track of where Reigen’s fingers are when your hips buck into the air so helplessly, so needily. His fingers twitch, anxious for their turn. This isn’t lost on you. None of Serizawa’s reactions, so tame and meek, are lost on you.
You aren’t exaggerating anything; all your drawn out moans, every hiccup and cry, are genuine and deserved. You’re there to be pleased and to make sure everyone in the room knows it. You tremble, caged between Reigen’s legs, as his index finger runs circles around your clit, his other hand working on pumping one digit, then another, and then another deep inside your awaiting pussy. All you can do is continue to sing Reigen’s praises as he so eloquently explains, “Listen to that. Look at how wet she is, just from playing with her clit. That’s how she’s able to suck me in so easily, right?” You can’t nod fast enough, gripping onto Reigen’s arms as he drives his fingers in and out your quivering hole, your walls closing in on him with every push. “You gotta make sure she’s enjoying it– you got that, Serizawa?”
He sounds like he’s done this before, like you both have done this before– wait, have you? Another rush of blood has his erection twitching in his slacks, desperate for release and Reigen knows this. He sees Serizawa start to palm the heavy ridge, watches carefully how the man’s chest starts to rise and fall a little quicker, a little needier. Serizawa's squirming in his seat, when did this chair get so uncomfortable? “What do you think, hm? Ready to take over?” Reigen’s sudden question makes the heat in Serizawa’s face jump several degrees but his mouth runs dry when it comes to answering. It’s only when you chime in, voice laden with lust, that Serizawa snaps out if it.
“Serizawa… Please. I wanna cum.”
You’re counting the differences between Reigen’s touch and Serizawa’s; where Reigen is smooth, Serizawa is rough. He’s whispering apologetic mantras in your ears, breath hot and heavy on the shell of your ear as his gruff hands grope and cup your breasts. The quality of his hunger, the intrinsic, animalistic nature in him is obvious from his ministrations on your chest and it’s palpable; all on his own, he pulls delicious moans from you and the way his name rolls off your tongue goads him to push further, to test the waters.
Serizawa’s thicker digits pinch your nipples, first hesitantly but when you beg him for more, he tugs ever so slightly, his pupils blown wide as he fixates on the perfect O your supple lips make. All because of him. You can feel Serizawa struggle beneath you as you recline on his chest, situated so comfortably between his legs on the bed you normally only share with Reigen. You start to grind on Serizawa, rolling your hips back to treat him to some friction as a treat for how he’s lavishing your tits with his touch. Guttural groans come rumbling from his throat and before he knows it, he has one hand eagerly traveling down your stomach, fingers rolling around the hood of your swollen clit. He gasps at how wet you are and his gaze can’t help but shift from the hand at your tit to the build up of arousal around your cunt.
“You’re doing so good, Seri…” You coo, a gentle hand of yours coming to cup his face, your thumb starting to swipe lovingly on his cheek. Your eyes flit over to Reigen, who’s started to disrobe. First his tie, then his coat. You watch with bated breath as one by one, his buttons come loose. You’ve always been enchanted by his body but now with Serizawa’s fingers on you, fingers IN you, your feelings are amplified to a degree that has your brain buzzing and your core twisting. “Is this okay?” Serizawa’s voice is ragged in your ear, desperate for a remedy. A remedy only you can give him.
In one fell swoop, you capture Serizawa’s lips in a kiss that is both aggressive and full of affection, like the dam’s been broken and there’s no turning back. You lick until he invites you in, your tongues clashing, first like novices but he catches on so perfectly for you, takes all your incantations of his name with a full heart and a throbbing cock. Your walls flutter around his fingers, just two of them feeling like Reigen’s three (maybe even four), filling you up as he plunges knuckles deep inside you. His movements are haphazard but the pace he works at makes you delirious all the same. He smooths circles around your clit, remembering how that made you melt and moan and you can feel him smile widely against your mouth as you do as he expected. Crying and whining for him.
“C-Can I cum?” Lips popping free from Serizawa’s, you crane your head back to Reigen, choking on your breath as you find him stroking his cock, wrist rolling hard from the tip to the base. His thumb gathers the build up of pre-cum, reserving it for your taste buds as he saunters over. You know the drill so you wrap your lips around his finger, sucking him clean. He presses his thumb deeper, narrowed eyes with heavy lids glancing over to Serizawa when he instructs, “Go on. Make her cum.”
Serizawa swallows hard. There’s a lot going on, it’s almost too much but he does what he’s told. But not before lingering on Reigen’s hard and bulging member for a moment, noting its length and slight curvature, how the tip is red and leaking. “Kiss me, Serizawa. I wanna cum!” Your begging pulls his attention back to you and oh, how he wants to please you so bad, feel you crumble all around him as he ushers you to your long-awaited release. So he pinches your cheeks, capturing your jutted lips in a passionate kiss, his tongue already sliding against yours as he jackhammers his fingers while adding another into your pliant little hole. Your walls, so squishy and tightening more and more by the second, welcome the pressure Serizawa’s fingers bring. “P-Please.” Now he’s pleading, panting into your mouth as he finishes, “Cum for me.”
You couldn’t deny the request, even if you wanted to. You cum, hard and rushed, around Serizawa’s fingers and even he joins in your dreamy moans as he feels your release coat his fingers in a glimmering sheen. Drops of your slick start to trickle down his wrist and you’ve stained his jacket, his slacks, but he doesn’t care. He’d let you ruin anything in his closet. He’d let you ruin him.
And that’s when you start to feel a foreign puddle welling up behind you. Serizawa’s come to burst with you, cumming in his pants so fast that he chokes on a groan so loud, it makes Reigen’s member twitch with anticipation. Serizawa would be ashamed if this was any other situation. But with the pair of you, all he can think about is how he now has a desire for more.
Your breathing starts to regulate, but you know it won’t be stable for long, not if Serizawa and Reigen have anything to say about it. You can already feel Serizawa’s cock fatten up behind you in record time, displaying his want, his carnal need, for more. It’s Reigen that breaks the silence, cock in hand as he continues to pump, “You ready to cum in her pussy next, Serizawa?” And it’s you who so sweetly offers on an exhale, “Your pick.”
That’s how Serizawa’s ended up lying on his back. That’s how you have ended up with your legs spread, knees at his hips, your cunt just mere inches above his fat, throbbing member. And that’s how Reigen’s ended up with his cock at your cheek– poking, prodding, impatient.
“I’m gonna put it in, okay, Seri?” He feebly nods. You’ll take it. Your palms flat on his stomach, you sink your hips low until Serizawa’s wide tip is bumping along your entrance. You gasp when he centers his cock, the head of his shaft now pressing in you. So much of him has to cram inside, the pressure has you feeling stuffed and he isn’t even past the tip. The stretch– it burns but you try not to show it in your face. Serizawa is the opposite; he’s never mastered the art of a poker face, always wearing his heart on his sleeve so you see it all. Nirvana just cresting his expression, his eyes are awash with pleasure as he watches your hips shimmy, pussy finally adjusting to his girth.
Sliding down, you push a husky groan from Serizawa, straight from his chest. His head sinks further into the mattress and shaky hands come to rest on your waist, though you can’t tell if that’s for him or for you. You feel sublime, unlike anything he’s ever felt before and you haven’t even started moving. You’re just so warm and you hug him so tight with your walls. You watch him shudder and huff just under his breath. It must be a lot for him, you think. So you start nice and slow, your hips undulating with a focus on running your clit over him but you underestimate just how delicious the combination of stimulating yourself while the end of his cock is buried so deep inside you, you feel him throbbing in the pit of your stomach.
Oh. This is very different from Reigen.
“I’m– I’m gonna start moving now.” When you speak, you choke on your words. It’s overwhelming. It’s easy to understand how you’ve only been focusing on Serizawa, why you can only take him into consideration because he’s just so massive, he’s wedged in so tight he makes you feel whole. But that doesn’t stop Reigen from nudging your cheek with the fat of his cock, thumb rubbing out his foreskin as he eagerly awaits for you to relieve him. “Make sure you hold onto her, Serizawa.” Reigen barely gets the words out without groaning. You whittled away the last shred of his composure when he saw you take all of Serizawa into that tight little pussy of yours, the same one he’s claimed, the very one he’s filled with his cum more times than he can recall.
And you’re taking him in so well, Reigen notes, and it’s appetizing how your bottom lip, supple and pouty, ushers out whispered moans and whimpers as you start to grind on Serizawa’s cock on your ascent. “Go on. Help her.” Reigen’s orders sound weakened; seeing you fuck yourself on his newly minted worker makes his member pulse and twitch in his hand, wrapping tighter with every stroke as he commits to memory the way Serizawa is looking at you, eyes fogged over with salacious want while you completely commit yourself to the tidal waves of pleasure that flood your pussy when Serizawa’s veiny cock run along your walls. You’re finding your rhythm with Serizawa when your cunt finally adjusts to his width and length and he can feel you relax around him but why are you still so fucking tight?
“C’mere.” Reigen murmurs to you, his free hand coming to cup your chin. He gives you a look over, soaking in how fucked out you look with your glazed over eyes and slack jaw, skin slightly shiny with sweat. If he’s being honest, he could cum just from watching Serizawa fuck you dumb but he’s the only reason you two are here, like this, so he thinks he’s earned himself some special attention too. So when he presses a palm to the back of your head, drawing you in, you oblige with a greedy open mouth. No adjusting necessary, Reigen’s cock fits perfectly in your mouth and you know just how to treat him.
“Thatta’ girl.” You eat up Reigen’s praises, you always have, and you show your gratitude by looking up at him, keeping that eye contact when the tip of your nose finally runs against his pelvis. Reigen’s groans start to join Serizawa as they both give themselves over to the pleasure, over to you. God, you think Reigen’s always sounded pretty but with Serizawa in the mix, you think you’ll short-circuit. It’s indescribable, the way they both fill you up and drive themselves into you like they can’t live without it. Without you.
Serizawa can’t help it, you feel too good. Surely you’ll forgive him for deepening his thrusts, rushing his cock inside you quicker and harder than before. You look so blissful, eyelashes fluttering shut as you gag yourself on Reigen’s dick and the sounds you make are so sloppy, so lewd and sinful that Serizawa has to grind you on the base of his cock until he’s hitting a spot that makes you cry all around Reigen. “Fuck, beautiful. You’re doing so good.” The blond croons watching you crumble around Serizawa’s forceful ramming. Reigen starts to rock himself into you, throwing his head back when your cheeks start to hollow out as you suck long and hard down his length. His cock quivers in your mouth, bobbing and filling out the back of your mouth with a familiar, but ever intoxicating feel. He keeps you up and stable, a hand at the crown of your head dragging you as deep as he wants you to be while the other meets yours on his outer thigh. You cling to him for support and he gladly gives it, watching you with such rapture as you get your holes filled by the two of them.
Serizawa bucks his hips into you with reckless abandon, trying to make sure he is flush against your cunt at every second. The pressure, the intensity at which you squeeze him with your hot and gummy walls is so sublime, he can hardly contain himself. He could never imagine that this is what sex feels like, that this is what YOU feel like. Your pussy clings to him so tightly, he's going delirious. This is so different from his fist, from all the late nights he'd spent rutting into his own hand for some relief. He thought he knew pleasure but you're showing him just how wrong he was. He fights the heaviness in his lids to focus on you, feeling his chest tighten and his cock twitch when he sees you deep throating Reigen's length with lewd enthusiasm. Yet you still bounce on Serizawa's cock, giving both men the attention they deserve and crave like it's second nature to you.
Rings of erotic bliss flood your system, from your mouth to your cunt, electrifying shocks added every time your clit brushes against Serizawa's abdomen. Your groans aren't just self-serving; through the tear drops coating your eyelashes, you see Reigen crane his head to the ceiling, his expression putting his euphoria on full display as he continues to fill your pliant mouth with his engorged member. You savor his taste, flattening your tongue against his length and surrounding him with your wet and hot slobber as you continue to pump him into your mouth. You sputter and gag around him, knowing full well this drives him crazy. "Fuck." Reigen growls, almost as if on cue when you push yourself to hilt, the tip of your nose flattening against his trimmed pubic hair. You just look so pretty, so ironically angelic, taking them both in so earnestly and happily. It's enough to drive him mad– hell, drive them both over the edge.
"You getting close?" Reigen's voice is gravelly but his words are clear. However, who he is speaking to is up in the air so you and Serizawa both reply. You in the series of choked whines and Serizawa with a husky and depraved yes. "Gonna cum in your mouth and Serizawa's gonna fill you up. Can you do that?" You couldn't argue, wouldn't argue. You're so full, so absolutely wracked with pleasure that you could do this over and over again and never get tired. The knot building up in your core, the one Serizawa's been poking and jamming, is bursting at the seams and you're just dying for release.
Serizawa's a mess, jaw slack and eyes hazy as he reaches his apex and Reigen can't help but delight in knowing you've brought him there– that you two are the reason for his wrecked state. Between that and seeing you, so hungry and shiny with tears and sweat, Reigen's about to pop. And he does, he can't even get the words out fast enough to warn you when he starts to shoot and flood your mouth with his sticky cum. You lap up all that he gives you, taste buds tingling at his unique flavor. You try to swallow but feel yourself buckling, knees shaking when Serizawa pummels into you with a whole new degree of fervor and want, like he's determined to coat your innermost being with his cum. He chokes, "C-Cumming!" as his cock spasms one last time against the ridges of your tight walls, his cum abundant and thick as it spurts inside you. It's so much, it spills out along with your own release from the tiniest of crevices, gathering in a puddle on Serizawa's pelvis. The nerves in your clit pulse, hard enough that you feel it throughout your whole body and all you can do is sigh in contentment all around Reigen's member, his cock still hard and deep in your mouth.
Replacing the moans comes heavy breathing and huffs, the three of you trying to stabilize your hearts after such a raucous experience. Reigen's cock slips out of your mouth, dribbling remnants of cum and drool down your puffy lips until your chin is soaked. He smooths your cheek with his thumb, looking at your with such adoration it makes you heart thud loudly in your chest. "I'll go get some towels." He ends up murmuring against your lips, leaving you with a sweet peck.
And when he comes back, he sees you, still stuffed with Serizawa's cock, lurching forward and gingerly rubbing Serizawa's face, red and obviously spent, popping a few kisses to his lips while you praise him for being so good, perfect even. That's when he knows. You'll be doing this again. And again. And again.

The OVA got me thinking
(I wrote these a few days after the OVA released, as you can see from the timestamp in the transcript below)
WingSongHalo10/01/2019 i want to,,, create more Terumob snippets,,,,
but can't think of ideasssss WAIT
when I said before how Teru might as well have been like "what EXACTLY do you look for in a partner [pulls out notepad]"
What if he really did ask what Mob looks for in a partner
Mob has never had interest in anyone but Tsubomi so he has no idea how to answer that question
he starts listing off things that unintentionally describe Teru perfectly :joy:
Stormy10/01/2019 hey i was literally gonna say there has STILL not been any ova fic content, at least if there was terumob i kno youd tell me i havent seen any serirei tho so YES THATS A GREAT IDEA
WingSongHalo10/01/2019
"Hmm, well, I'd want them to be someone I could talk to really easily."
"Right, of course. Go on."
"Sure. And I guess I'd have to think they were c-cute..."
"Yeah, that makes sense. By the way how do I look in this sweater?"
"Oh, it really suits you."
"Thanks! All right, so go on; what else would you look for?"
"Hm... I just want someone I can feel comfortable around I guess?"
"[looks up at him from where he's laying with his head in Shige's lap] Sure, sure"
Stormy10/01/2019 omggggggg thats adorable i love it
WingSongHalo10/01/2019 T: So what about their personality? What do you like?
M: Umm... I guess... [blushes as he thinks of Tsubomi] someone who draws others to them naturally... someone kind... but who's not afraid to speak their mind...
T: [looks up from texting one of the Awakening Lab kids Happy Birthday] You've got some pretty high standards don't you?
Stormy10/01/2019 omg that  is so sweet
WingSongHalo10/01/2019 it gets to the point where when Mob talks about the person he likes to someone who doesn't know Tsubomi very well but knows Teru, they'd be like "Whoa, you like Hanazawa?"
And Mob would be like "??? Um, no, that's not...........................................wait"
Stormy10/01/2019 that is hilarious and v v pire
pure
*
WingSongHalo10/01/2019 he goes down the mental checklist and realizes Teru checks literally all of his boxes: He's attractive, kind but not afraid to be blunt, naturally popular and charismatic, and the only person Mob has ever discussed things of this nature with on more than one occasion
so then he starts wondering "but do I LIKE him like him" because he has had like -3 experience on asking himself those questions
Stormy10/01/2019 omfgofmgggggggg
WingSongHalo10/01/2019 he tries to figure it out by like, trying to hold hands with him (Teru is confused but ecstatic), seeing whether putting his head on Teru's shoulder will make his own heart beat faster (it does, and also he hears Teru's speed up), and thinking about what it would be like to be in a relationship with him
But Mob's never been in a relationship so his understanding is basically "Hanging out together, holding hands, making each other food sometimes, and kissing" and he's like "gosh, we already do three out of four of those things"
Stormy10/01/2019 thats so so cute i love him
WingSongHalo10/01/2019 when he does come to the conclusion that yes he has a huge crush on Hanazawa-kun, he sets about the next hurdle to jump: finding out what Teru looks for in a partner
So when Shige just says "Hey Hanazawa-kun, what do you look for in a partner?" one day walking home from school, Teru drops Mob's hand and nearly falls over.
"Wh-why do you ask?" his friend asks, looking around warily.
"I just wondered, is all." He looks at his shoes. They're not tied very well.
"W-Well," says Teru, in a voice that is trying to be dignified. "I like... attractive people who are easy to be around and make me happy and are extraordinarily talented."
"Oh," Mob says, his shoulders slumping. That doesn't sound like himself at all. "I see."
Stormy10/01/2019 awwwww ;_;
WingSongHalo10/01/2019 "Why do you look so depressed, Kageyama?" Teru asks, laughing a little as he puts a hand on Mob's shoulder. "You're not trying to set me up with someone, are you?"
"Hmm... I guess maybe you could put it that way," Mob mumbles, shuffling his feet
"Well, I hate to break it to you, but I've already got my heart set on a particular person," Teru says next, and when Mob looks up, Teru winks at him. "Tell your friend sorry for me."
Mob tries his best to ignore the fluttering in his chest that always happens when Teru winks. "Sorry," he mumbles to himself obediently.
Stormy10/01/2019 oh my fucking gosh that is so adorable
WingSongHalo10/01/2019 these two IDIOTS
Stormy10/01/2019 mhmhmhm ;_;
WingSongHalo10/01/2019 "Well, maybe it's for the best neither of us have significant others," Teru says with a sigh, grabbing onto Mob's hand again as they continue the walk. "After all, I've gotten pretty used to lavishing all my attention and time on you."
Mob doesn't say anything for a moment, the cogs in his head steadily turning. That's certainly true... "But wouldn't you rather be paying attention to the person you like?" he prompts, curious.
"Hmmm, I wonder," says Teru mysteriously.
Stormy10/01/2019 omgggggggggggg
WingSongHalo10/01/2019 "I think I like this arrangement just fine," Teru says after a little longer, squeezing Mob's hand.
Mob squeezes back. "I like it too," he says, his voice bashful.

The Irony of Life (MP100|One-Shot| Fan-Fic Commission)
A short SeriRei one-shot that was commissioned
In which Reigen reflects on his 15 year old mindset and realizes just how wrong he was.
———————————————
When Reigen was 15 years old he accepted the fact that he was never going to have kids even if he wanted to. With a single glance to his parents, he doubted he would be any better than them and no child deserved a fate like that.
Yet irony had a way of creeping into his life and taking away his choice, because by the time he was 30 he somehow amassed an army of children who all looked up to him and visited him often, none of which were related to him in any way.
It had all started with one kid and just ended up snowballing into more and more children before he could even try to stop it. Half of the pictures he has on his clipboard in the office have turned into photos of him and the kids on outings; the time Teru and the Kageyama brothers joined them on their trip to the hot springs, his birthday party with all of them, Ritsu getting thanked by his first client, Rei doing a fortune telling, and so on and so forth.
He hates to say it, but it’s starting to look like a mother’s scrapbook and he is neither a mother nor in possession of an actual scrapbook (though he has considered investing in one at this rate). And although Mob doesn’t visit the office often anymore, too busy focusing more on his studies and the Body Improvement Club, he accidentally ended up sending more kids his way to replace him.
More specifically in the form of a bunch of rather loud girls that Tome dragged in hardly with his approval and his office had turned into their hangout spot (much to his dismay when he is trying to work).
Even now, at the end of the work day, they lay sprawled all over the couch and chairs talking and laughing away as if he hadn't already turned off most of the lights and locked the windows in a subtle way to tell them to get up already.
Most days Reigen was left alone like this– given that Serizawa typically heads off early for night school– however today was a lucky day and he didn’t have classes which is a godsend since Serizawa is much better with kids than Reigen.
“Come on, girls. Pack up, we are closing soon.” Serizawa’s voice snapped the girls out of their conversation much faster than his ever would, it was a perfect mix of a stern yet gentle demand that sounded much more like a suggestion making it much more appealing to listen to.
With a ‘tsk’ Reigen looked over to chime in:
“We are closed,” he sneered before snapping the blinds to the windows shut.
Imminent whines traveled from the girls.
“Come on, just a couple more minutes!” one of them pleaded dramatically. It was almost enough to make Reigen roll his eyes.
“Do you want to be locked in the office?”
“Cool! Like a sleepover!”
“No, no sleepovers in my office.”
Tome leaps up, a tale tell sign she has an idea
“What if you give me the keys?! I can lock up after we all decide to leave or we stay the night!”
“Absolutely not.” He doesn’t even need to think about that one
“What!? Why?! I'm super reliable?”
A smirk crept on Reigen’s face.
“Ah yes, like that time you got lost in the cursed woods, or the time Dimple had to possessed you and punch your teacher, or that time you assaulted one of our clients, or when you-”
“Fine, fine I get it!” the girls were giggling and Tome’s face had turned a bright shade of pink as she slumped in defeat.
Before he could say much else Serizawa stepped in once again,
“How about this: Tomorrow we have a case down at Cape Cop Avenue, if we head off now you can tag along for it.”
The girls cheered, accidently having adopted Tome’s curiosity for ghosts and other such creatures. With their minds satisfied somewhat with the idea of a new activity they began to gather their bags and the homework they hadn't even touched the entire time at the office.
Usually Reigen would scold Serizawa for promising something like that, but the location was an apartment complex that Serizawa had scouted yesterday and as expected there weren’t actually any ghosts there. The scariest thing at the apartment complex was their plumbing system.
Regardless, Serizawa would be sure to give them a show (thank god none of them were espers).
It wasn’t long until they all began piling out. Somehow it has become a habit for Reigen to walk the girls home and tonight was no exception, the only difference being that Serizawa decided to join them.
The first destination was for Mika who lived only 3 blocks down from Reigen’s office, she gave an enthusiastic wave goodbye and promised to take a bunch of pictures tomorrow (even though Reigen tried explaining it would be hard to capture a ghost on camera).
Up next was their tall friend whose name Reigen hasn’t caught just yet. She seemed to stare a lot at them when they worked and doodle them but she was the politest of the bunch so Reigen didn’t mind her all that much.
Then Tome, who groaned loudly as Keiko reminded her of the homework due tomorrow before sulking back into her house with a small wave. Misa lives just two houses down from Tome and jogged ahead since she forgot about the homework too.
And then last but not least Keiko who without the company of her friends becomes rather bashful and shy only uttering small ‘thank you’s’ and ‘good night’s’ as she scurries into her house.
With the girls all safely in their houses Reigen without meaning to let out a soft sigh as he stretched, finally allowing himself to relax away from the kids. Usually he’d keep on his facade for Serizawa but lately that illusion has been melting away and luckily, it’s been mutual.
Serizawa has begun to relax too around him, being more confident and even being so bold as to tease him. They had also begun to work fluidly with each other, understanding what the other needed or wanted with simple quick glances and they practically danced around each other in their morning routines. Reigen even trusted him enough to give him copies of the keys to the office, it was nice to have someone to lean on when you needed it.
Neither of them said a word but they both began walking in the same direction. Serizawa lived just a bit further from Reigen in a different and better apartment complex than his so it made sense they were sticking together.
Nights like these were rare but appreciated, his whole life Reigen has always felt like he was supposed to be running just to catch up; but walking like this alongside someone you trust and care about is nice. It makes him feel like he can finally walk instead of run, like there is no rush.
And Serizawa is a good person and perfect company, initially Reigen assumed they didn’t have much in common but as time has moved on it turned out they do and they frequently found themselves talking each other's ear off. Mostly Reigen more than Serizawa but it’s a mutual exchange at least.
Though right now they seem to appreciate the silence, the girls were a nice change to have in the office but they also tend to drain the two of their energy with how loud and energetic they get, not to mention the trouble and danger they seem to like to get into. The thought alone is already giving Reigen a headache.
“Reigen?” With the sound of his name, he snaps out of it quickly, looking up to Serizawa only letting out a small ‘hm’ of acknowledgement.
Reigen catches the brief moment Serizawa was looking at him before staring forward instead.
“I know we’ve been busy lately but I was wondering if you would like to join me tomorrow for dinner at my place?”
Now that was extra new, Reigen has never been over to Serizawa’s apartment. Something about it felt a bit too personal, maybe it's because he hasn’t been over to a friend's place since he was in middle school nor has he had guests over willingly at his own apartment.
“What’s the occasion?”
The question makes Serizawa visibly tense, although the man has become more confident in himself, he finds moments like these where he still falters in his choices.
“Oh! Uh well I just um thought it would be nice to have some company over you know, I wanted to try out this new recipe and I thought it would be nice to have another taste tester and well I’m also trying to get used to having more people over at my place and I-”
Before he could go on another list of excuses Reigen interrupts,
“Sure, sounds nice. It’s been a while since I had a home cooked meal anyways.”
The response seemed to calm him down, his shoulders untensing and letting out a not so subtle sigh of relief.
As casual as Reigen is trying to act though he could feel his heart hammering in his chest in excitement. Every time he’s tried to have a moment alone with Serizawa one of them has always been either busy or with other plans so it would be great to finally have time.
But Reigen isn't an idiot, he knows exactly why he’s excited for this. He’s noticed how things between them have changed recently and perhaps it’s wishful thinking but he’s noticed from Serizawa too, when his gaze lingers, when he relaxes into soft touches, and the change of his mood from around his friends as opposed to him.
Along with this came a new tension, and not the kind where you want to murder each other or fuck, no it was something different. It was the kind of tension where both parties are trying to read each other and think they know what the other is thinking but they don’t want to make any unwarranted assumptions.
Reigen’s always been great at reading people, and usually he wouldn’t doubt himself but this is different in many ways. Serizawa is not only a friend but an employee, and he’s being reintroduced to the world away from all the hardships he faced and the trauma he’s brought along with him. If he is right about this, he needs to be careful.
Serizawa is perfectly capable of making his own choices but he needs to go at his own pace and to push anything onto Serizawa wouldn’t be fair.
There’s another thing Reigen had accepted when he was 15 years old, and it was that no one could ever love him for who he truly is. And that is a firm belief he’s kept, even now as Serizawa leans to be closer to him and he leans back.
But then again irony loves his company. So maybe 15-year-old Reigen could be wrong about that too.

graduation
mp100 | serirei, AU, 2.8k
another drabble belonging to the series our endless numbered days, this one taking place about five years after the end of holding. wrote this a while ago, but held off on posting it. pre established relationship.
warnings: alcohol, mentioned major character death
-
Whenever Reigen drank, Serizawa resigned himself to getting him home.
It didn’t matter what he drank, how much he drank, or when he drank, but inevitably Serizawa would find himself supporting his weight as they walked the distance back to their apartment. Rather, as Serizawa walked— Reigen generally seemed to lose all capability to move his legs about in a reasonable manner. He simply would sling an arm around Serizawa’s shoulder and keep a running monologue in his ear. His warm breath, strong with the scent of shochu, would always tickle Serizawa’s ear.
Initially, Serizawa had found it charming. Now it was sort of exasperating.
But still charming.
And tonight, he couldn’t really bring himself to be annoyed with Reigen.
“Graduation,” Reigen said, shaping the word with exaggerated slowness. “Can you believe it, Katsu? Seems like yesterday Ritsu was just this moody middle schooler.” Serizawa attempted to straighten the suitjacket Reigen still kept on his shoulders, but then Reigen slumped into him. “Now he’s a moody high school graduate.”
Serizawa heard him chuckle against his chest, and then it turned into a hum. Reigen’s fingers danced lightly along Serizawa’s shirt, and Serizawa, underneath the embarrassing tingle in his stomach, realized they were blocking the door to the bar. He gripped Reigen’s upper arms and pulled him upright, and Reigen sagged comfortably in his grip. It made Serizawa think of one of those cats that went limp when you held it. He pulled him away from the door, tripping over the uneven steps and Reigen’s feet.
“Do you have everything?” Serizawa asked, patting Reigen’s jacket pockets. They were distressingly empty. Serizawa patted them more thoroughly, to no avail. “Did you grab your keys when we left this morning? Your wallet?”
He couldn’t quite make out the intricacies of Reigen’s expression— the streetlight above them shone on Serizawa’s head and cast a shadow over Reigen’s face, but he could see the suggestion of his face moving. Then Reigen settled a hand next to Serizawa’s neck, in a gesture that was probably supposed to be a pat but forgot along the way. “Relax,” he said. “I put ‘em in your pocket.”
Serizawa blinked. He checked his pockets. Both his wallet and keys and Reigen’s were there, forming a comfortable, equal weight on each side of his body. He turned his attention back to Reigen. “Why?”
Reigen slouched back a little further, and his teeth glinted in the sliver of light they caught. “Oops.”
Serizawa sighed and looped Reigen’s arm around his shoulder. “Okay, Taka. Time to go home now.”
“It’s too bad,” Reigen remarked as Serizawa began walking down the street, “Ritsu’s still not old enough to go have celebratory drinks with us. Maybe that’s bad mentorship on my part, hm. I think we got him covered, anyway.”
“You did,” Serizawa rebuffed easily. “I just wait for you to get drunk and then we go home.”
Reigen laughed, and the noise echoed down the street. “Well, I don’t keep you waiting long.”
“No,” Serizawa agreed, intentionally dropping his voice in hopes that Reigen would match. “You don’t.”
He pressed a light kiss against the side of Reigen’s forehead, where hair lay thick against his temple. In the dark walking home, everything felt like a secret. So did this silent declaration, especially when Reigen tilted conspiratorily towards him and his body caved into Serizawa. Every loud feeling settled right between the space where the crook of Reigen’s side didn’t quite fit into his. Serizawa felt himself smile as Reigen’s head leaned against his shoulder.
Reigen was quiet, which gave Serizawa the time he needed to find the street sign and figure out where they were. He squinted at the tall sign with white characters, barely illuminated in the dark. Just as he was piecing together the solution, Reigen slouched against him again. His voice was soft when he spoke. “He was moody, though. More n’ usual. Right? I’m not crazy?”
Serizawa hesitated. There was something dangerous in the way Reigen’s voice drifted up, hopeful and wistful all at once. “Not crazy,” he agreed, trying not to look at Reigen, “but you know him better than me. You’d be able to tell better.”
But Ritsu had been moody— distant in a concentrated way that Serizawa hadn’t seen for years. He’d smiled, and accepted their warm congratulations on his academic achievements, but it was with the same thin politeness that Ritsu regarded strangers with. Even when Ritsu’s mother hugged him, or his father rustled his hair in a practiced gesture, it was something he endured.
By the time that Serizawa had figured out that Ritsu built walls, Reigen had begun dismantling them. That meant that Serizawa didn’t know how to read what each guarded expression meant, in the same way that came so naturally to Reigen— but no, he’d worked for it. He’d worked hard to understand, to drag Ritsu up out of that mire along with himself. Serizawa wouldn’t discount that.
“Guess it doesn’t matter too much,” Reigen said distantly, drawing Serizawa out of his thoughts. “He won’t be needing me, now.”
A barely held together seam in Serizawa’s chest began to open up, revealing something cavernous below. “Taka,” he said, the word soft.
“It’s true,” Reigen said, and he went to wave a hand. It made a circuitous path through the air, then hung there. “I never expected any of you to hang around. You know? I mean, I wanted… Well, I guess everyone wants dumb, impossible things. Like hopin’ you’ll wake up tomorrow, and your bank account’ll be full, and your knees won’t ache because you’re gettin’ old, and you’ll have some incredible guy who lets you trip all over his feet all the way home…”
Reigen slipped on the pavement, and Serizawa grabbed him. He always grabbed too fast, too hard, and he feared constantly that his hands would squeeze, and then Reigen would break. But Reigen just flopped into his arms. “Well, that one came true,” he said.
“I’m not leaving,” Serizawa told him. “Ritsu’s not either. He won’t work at the office, but he still cares about you. We both do.”
“Mhm,” Reigen murmured in what Serizawa hoped was an agreement. The way it was shaped made him doubt that. Serizawa frowned and felt lines in his face deepen. He continued guiding Reigen down the street.
Eventually, Reigen yawned, then slipped into a sentence. “Well, I did what I could, Katsuya. Hope his parents can tell… Guess they’d know. Well, I think I know, I guess I can’t be certain. Kid’s like a puzzle box, sometimes…”
Serizawa pulled him to a stop next to the curb, bending his head around Reigen to look down the street, then at his face. “Know what? What about Ritsu?”
“He’s thinking about Mob,” Reigen said.
There wasn’t anything amiss on Reigen’s face, even in the sleepy way his lids settled on his eyes. Serizawa still felt his stomach drop out from under him. He stood still for a moment, unable to think of any way to proceed.
Shigeo had died five years and one and a half months ago. Keeping track of days had become a necessary compulsion for Serizawa, so the time measured out clearly in his head. He could probably count the days too, back to when he’d found out why the city had split open, then when he’d had to go to the funeral, and then a million small pointless things until now.
He pulled Reigen closer, arm wrapping tighter around his side as a poor shield. “Come on,” Serizawa said, softly. “Let’s go home.”
“He always… gets like that, around big milestones,” Reigen continued as Serizawa tried to get him walking again. “All moody and withdrawn. Think he feels guilty for growing up, when Mob can’t…” Reigen blew out air. “Dumb kid. Guess I can’t blame him, though.”
His mood didn’t falter, all the rest of the way home. He rambled, on in an endless train that Serizawa couldn’t quite focus on. Somewhere, his philosophizing about Ritsu turned to his philosophizing about Shigeo, and then into long, spooled out anecdotes. Serizawa had heard some of them before. Some of them he’d been there for. Reigen didn’t seem to remind recounting things both of them knew in authorial tones, tugging on Serizawa’s collar to get his attention when he grew too distracted for Reigen’s liking. There was something easy on Reigen’s face as he laughed. They sounded like stories about someone who’d just gone away for a while, and he’d be there at the office tomorrow. Maybe the feeling was created by the alcohol. Maybe he was too drunk to know what he was talking about at all. Serizawa ached.
He’d gone quiet when Serizawa drew them up the stairs to their apartment, and then to the door  where he fumbled over the keys. Serizawa thought maybe he’d fallen asleep, finally, until Reigen nudged his shoulder with the top of his head. “Did I ever tell you,” he said, pressing one finger into Serizawa’s side, “how we met?”
Serizawa stiffened without meaning to. “You might have mentioned it, once,” he said finally. He knew the sketch of the story— some accidental meeting, and then Reigen had declared himself Shigeo’s mentor… There was some confused memory about it, tickling in the back of his head. But if he’d heard it, it would’ve been from before, and things from back then often felt out of focus.
“Well,” Reigen said, voice lifting in the beginning of a story, “It must’ve been about…” He tilted his head back, pretending to try to remember. “Ten or so years ago. God, Katsuya, when’d we get so old?”
The key in Serizawa’s hand clunked against the door, missing the doorknob once more. In a fit of frustration, Serizawa directed a burst of psychic energy at the door. It unlocked and swung open soundlessly, and Serizawa guided Reigen inside. He kicked the door shut behind him, and then they were in the dark. Serizawa slid his shoes off in the doorway and then, after a moment’s deliberation, swung Reigen up into his arms, tucking one comfortably under Reigen’s knees.
Reigen snorted against his shoulder, and Serizawa could imagine his bleary smile as he curled his fingers against the back of Serizawa’s neck. He wanted to kiss Reigen, suddenly, even through his exhaustion and exasperation and the aching pit of his stomach. Serizawa made it as far as pressing his forehead against Reigen’s before he couldn’t continue. He stayed there, listening to his breathing.
Reigen’s head tipped back, and Serizawa couldn’t follow the motion any further down. “He must’ve been about ten, I guess,” Reigen murmured, hand still playing against Serizawa’s neck. “He showed up at the office, back when it was just me, and he said he wanted help controlling his powers. Well, I was so sure it was some prank… Like I was important enough for anyone to go around playing tricks on me, hah. Imagine.”
Serizawa picked his way through their tiny apartment, past the kitchen that needed cleaning, through the living room with their half collapsed couch, and into their pitch dark bedroom. All the while, Reigen continued talking into his ear, low and confidential like someone might hear. “But I guess I felt bad for him, or something, or I couldn’t feel good about turning some kid out… So I gave him some hacked up advice, about how hard it was being a psychic but how it was still possible to be a good person. I don’t even remember what I said.”
He hesitated, here, long enough for Serizawa to doubt, and then launched forward again into the story. “Anyway, then I figured out he really did have powers, and I thought, hey, that’d be useful for the office, even if all really he can do is levitate cups. So I told him to come back, saying I’d help him control his powers, thinking I was smart enough to trick some kid into thinking I had powers. It’d be easy, right? People do it on tv all the time.”
Serizawa settled Reigen on the bed, then caught him before he could fall flat on his back. The words were pouring out of Reigen faster and faster as Serizawa peeled his coat off and began working his tie loose with careful fingers. “I spent years jumping through hoops, trying to impress him, convince him that I was really something. I was pulling my hair out over it, because what if he left? What the hell was I gonna do?” His arms spun briefly wide, hitting Serizawa in the side. “But, Katsu, do you know the best part?”
“No,” Serizawa said, dutifully. He settled Reigen back onto the bed, and it creaked underneath them as Serizawa bent over Reigen’s face. The dim light of the alarm clock was all Serizawa had to go on to see. He pillowed his elbow on a fold in the comforter, and then his chin on his hand. “What’s the best part?”
Reigen smiled. “He knew. The whole time, he knew, and the cheeky kid just let me run around in circles all day long. Isn’t that the funniest thing you’ve ever heard?”
The smile Serizawa made back felt weak and ill. Something was lodging into his heart, keeping it from functioning properly. He swept some of Reigen’s hair back to kiss his forehead. “Good night, Arataka.”
Reigen didn’t answer, and Serizawa sat up again. He lifted Reigen’s feet up from where they dangled and placed them on his knee, pulling the shoelaces loose. When Serizawa shoved Reigen’s shoes off his heel, a green light caught them in midair, and the shoes floated up. Serizawa sent them drifting through the bedroom door, back to the front door. Then, he slid his own jacket off, throwing it across the room at some place he’d trip over himself in the morning trying to find.
It was when Serizawa was pulling his own tie loose that Reigen said, “I really miss that kid. You know? I miss...”
Serizawa just sat there; feeling like a useless statue, a solid stone resting on the end of their bed. But then, Reigen made the smallest, ugliest, noise, and Serizawa turned, falling back next to him. There was something horrible working its way up Reigen’s throat, and Serizawa felt it when he dragged Reigen into his arms. He rubbed Reigen’s back in slow steady circles as a sob made Reigen’s whole body convulse. “It’s okay,” Serizawa whispered, hardly audible to himself under the noise of Reigen’s grief. “Taka, I know, I know…”
“I’m so selfish,” Reigen said, the words coming out as a wail. “I’m so fucking, sselfish, what do you think Ritsu’s feeling right now? God, five whole years of this and what have I done for him?”
“You’ve done a lot,” Serizawa said, raising his voice. “I swear, Taka, you have, you did so much for both of those kids, if you could see—”
Reigen shook his head, and he careened into Serizawa’s neck. His hands were clenching Serizawa’s shirt fabric, tighter and tighter. “I never even told him,” Reigen mumbled. “Mh- Mob. He knew, we both knew, but I was too much of a coward to say—” his voice hitched again. “And then today, I should’ve said something, to Ritsu, I could see, but I just let him walk away, I haven’t learned a thing… Katsuya…”
“He’s still here,” Serizawa whispered. “You haven’t failed, you can say something again, Ritsu’s still here, I’m still here, you’re still here…”
There was something unspoken in the ugly breath Reigen pulled through his body— a necessary absence in what Serizawa said, obvious in the tears slipping down Reigen’s face. Serizawa tried to pull him a little further up the bed so he could lay comfortably on the pillows instead of Serizawa’s chest, but instead Reigen pressed deeper against him. All Serizawa could do was wait until Reigen had given all he could, and his drunken sobs finally ended. Sobs settled out into ragged breaths, and Reigen was asleep.
Tears were still slipping down his face when Serizawa finally settled him into bed, pulling the comforter over him. He brushed a thumb under Reigen’s eye, then wiped the tears collected on the pillowcase by his head. Serizawa waited, as he listened to Reigen’s breathing, for the now cavernous ache in his chest to close so he could sleep. He watched the alarm clock slowly click through numbers in time to Reigen’s breaths.
Reigen’s hands slowly loosened their hold on Serizawa’s shirt, until they merely draped over the curve of his back. The congestion in his chest cleared with each slow breath. Serizawa smoothed a worried wrinkle out of his brow, and breathed in only to hear the congestion in his own throat. A few frustrated, angry tears slid down the bridge of Serizawa’s nose, and he buried his face in Reigen’s hair.
In the end, it wasn’t time slowly slipping by that dragged Serizawa into sleep. It was the sound of Reigen’s steady breathing that eased Serizawa into slumber, dark and dreamless as he wanted.

A/N: This is a ficlet in which Serizawa has to be alone for a day!  It ended up being serirei, which was not intended, but I hope you like it. ☆☆☆
The warmth that he had wrapped himself around began to struggle.  He groaned, and held onto it more tightly. Nonetheless, it escaped his grasp, leaving him cold and shivering.  He curled up, pulling this blankets closer to him, forming a cocoon.  Processing that he was awake, he slowly opened his eyes, only for them to be covered by something soft and warm.
“Shhh, it’s okay, go back to sleep,” a voice said.
He complied, closing his eyes and snuggling further into his nest of blankets.
“I’ll be gone for a while, but I promise I’ll be back tonight, okay Katsuya?  I love you,” Reigen whispered, before kissing him on the forehead.
As footsteps faded away, so did his consciousness, and he drifted back into a peaceful sleep.
When he next woke up, he woke up with a jolt, and there was no one there.  He sat up, breathing until his heart rate slowed.  He swallowed deeply.  He looked at the clock.  12:24.  Had he really slept that long?  When had Reigen left?  It seemed like it had been fairly early.  He reluctantly got up.
He made his way to the bathroom.  He turned the shower on, removed his pyjamas - which got thrown on the floor - and hopped in.  He let the still cold water wash over him, waking him up.  As it warmed up, it seeped into his bones, loosening his sore muscles.  Sighing, he washed his hair and scrubbed his body.  Letting himself soak in the warmth one last time, he turned it off, and grabbed a towel.
He boredly brushed his teeth, staring blankly at the mirror until his brain caught up with what he was seeing.  He snorted.  “Ah, my phone, where did I put my phone?” he murmured.  When he found it, he snapped a picture of his face, hair going every which way, curls as big as ever.

I took a shower and this is what my hair looks like now. Look! 〔´∇`〕]

He hit the send button and beamed at his phone.  As the moment passed, his shoulders sagged.  He put the phone down and walked away.
He grabbed some comfortable clothes.  Once he had dressed, he noticed the light blinking from his cell.

Subject: Re: Hair
I think it looks cute!
Remember to eat something! love you ☆☆☆]
“Ah,” he said aloud, remembering only now that he had yet to eat anything.
He looked in the fridge, to find a disappointing lack of edibles.  Milk, a half eaten cake, beers, and a couple fruits.  Not really something he could make into a good healthy breakfast, unless he wanted to have a fruit salad or something along those lines.  And what about dinner tonight?
He looked up in the cupboard at the castle of instant ramen.  That wasn’t particularly appealing, either.  He gulped.
He did have money on him, enough to go get groceries, but that…that meant going outside, and interacting with other people that he wasn’t familiar with.  That meant the possibility of being stuck in a crowd, without Reigen there to ground him, keep him safe, keep those around him safe.
He couldn’t.  He wasn’t ready for that, his power level wasn’t high enough.  A fruit smoothie might be nice after all, but then he’d still be hungry.  And what about dinner?  Was Reigen going to get something for them?  Were they going out tonight?  His fingers twitched.  He could call, just to make sure, but he had a sinking feeling in his gut that kept him from reaching for his phone.
That wasn’t any good.  Reigen said it was fine, but he knew that he had to get over this somehow.  This could be how he started that.  It was just be quick trip, in and out.  Easy.
He put on a coat, grabbed his wallet and umbrella, and walked out.  And then he froze.
The sun was bright today, hurting his eyes.  And there were people.
In that moment, he considered going back inside.  But he told himself he was going to do this, so he would.  For integrating into society again.  For Reigen.  He took another step, gripping the clear umbrella like a lifeline. And another, his heart beating like a drum in his chest.  He finally set a pace for himself, making his way down the street, trying his best to ignore the stares he was sure were coming his way.
The store wasn’t too far away, but he felt as though he had ran a marathon by the time he got there.  It’s just a bit longer, he told himself.  Just a bit longer.  He took a deep breath before entering.
Shrill music played faintly in the distance, heightening his anxiety.  The fluorescent lights made him feel even less welcome.
As he walked further in, he made a mental checklist of what he needed.  Meat, rice, some vegetables…  Eggs would be nice.  And they were low on cooking oil, weren’t they?
He hummed as he gathered ingredients.  As he wandered the isles, he spotted a bag of the chocolates Reigen always got.  That would be nice after a long day of work, right?  He was so focused on retrieving it that he didn’t notice the person in his trajectory.
  “Ouch!”
  A loud crash.
He got up, gathering his ingredients.  He did not bother to look at the other person’s face before bowing profusely, his powers bubbling beneath his skin as his anxiety rose.
“I’m sorry, I’m so sorry, so sorry,” he said repeatedly, holding back tears.
“Woah, woah, it’s fine, you don’t need to apologize so much,” an unfamiliar voice hushed him.  He looked up to see a young boy in a gakuran.  Did he go to the same school as Kageyama?
When Serizawa didn’t respond, the boy continued, “just watch where you’re going. Geez,” before patting him on the shoulder and moving on.
He stood there for a few moments, breathing in and out.  Right.  It’s fine.  Nothing is wrong.  It’s fine.  He hasn’t hurt anyone. (Yet.)
He continued silently, only talking to the cashier on his way out when it was necessary, and then excused himself from the store.  Why was this so hard?  He could talk to Kageyama, and he could be around the others at school.  But it was just the walk home, now.  Just a few city blocks, no interaction required.  Just a while longer.  Just a while longer.  Just a whi -
A distant shriek interrupted his thoughts.  His head filled with static, but he immediately jumped into action, running towards the source of it.  Who was it?  Who?
He twisted through streets and alleys, his groceries trailing behind him as he tried to find whoever had screamed.  He needed to help them.
He could hear the blood rushing through his ears when he arrived at a young woman crying for help, being cornered by a giant wolf-like monster.
  An evil spirit.
“Ah, just, hang on, you’ll be okay,” he shouted to the lady, lifting his hand to use his powers.
This, however, caught the spirit’s attention, who turned to him, bearing its teeth and lunging at him.  He swiftly dodged, and it crashed face first into a building.  He winced at the sound, but took the opportunity to wrap the creature in his powers, lifting it up before closing his hand into a fist, crushing it.  It made one more strangled yowl before disappearing into nothing.
He breathed a sigh of relief.  He noticed the young lady approaching him, and he mustered up a smile.
“You saved me,” she said, “thank you.”
“It’s no problem,” he replied, taking a bashful bow.
She smiled sweetly at him.  “Still, it means a lot.  Well…  You’d ought to head home, Serizawa,” she said.
“Yes,” he agreed, hoisting his groceries back up into his arms.
He walked away, not noticing the girl fading away into a blue light.  It took him a minute before he realized what had just happened.
He had gone out in public, without Reigen, used his powers, and no one got hurt!  In fact, he saved someone!  And when he talked to them, he didn’t even stutter!  Giddy, he ran the rest of the way home, not caring if anyone saw him.
When Reigen got home, he was greeted by the wonderful scent of home cooked curry.
“Wow, you’ve really outdone yourself this time, Katsuya,” he said after stuffing his face with the beef and vegetables.
“Thank you,” Serizawa replied, meekly.  “Um…  A-Arataka, can I tell you something?”
Reigen beamed when the other finished recounting the story.
“I’m so proud.  Your power level has grown so much!  All by yourself, huh?  Don’t push yourself too much, though,” he said, hugging his boyfriend close, who was laughing.
  “There’s one thing I don’t get, though.”
  “Hm?” Serizawa murmured.
“How did that lady know your name?”
  Serizawa blinked dumbly.

What he said (Mob Psycho 100 fanfiction)
Minegishi and Reigen have a small chat while they wait for Serizawa
A Mineseri & Serirei fic where Serizawa shows up for like 1 second
also on AO3
Proudly handling the spare key Serizawa gave him not a week ago, and with a mandatory flourish, Reigen unlocked the door to the esper’s apartment. He was aware Serizawa wouldn’t be home from clases yet, so he intended to give him a nice surprise at the end of a long day. He did not intend to be surprised himself, as he swing the door open and there was another man on the kitchen.
Said man barely looked over his shoulder before going back to whatever was keeping him busy, not even bothering to comment on the exaggerated defensive stance Reigen had taken out of surprise.
“Serizawa’s not home” The man, Minegishi? -It was Minegishi, right? He always mixed up his name- told Reigen, and Reigen cautiously approached him.
“Yeah I know, uh, Minegishi, right?” He asked, and now that he was closer he could see what the other was doing – he was in the middle of cooking. It looked good, Reigen noted at the same time he realized how hungry he was.
Minegishi nodded for an answer, and Reigen leaned against the counter that separated the kitchen and the living room. Should he stay silent? Make up small chat? Leave? He had no idea. It was not a common situation that he was alone with his boyfriend’s other boyfriend. He drummed his fingers, considering his next course of action.
After going through a similar thinking path, Minegishi sighed and turned around, shifting his attentiong from the pot he was cheking to Reigen.
“… D’you wanna stay for dinner” He said, and while it was phrased as a question, not his low tone nor his stern expression made it sound like one. Reigen assumed he was supossed to decline.
“Ah, no, I don’t want to intrude in your time together, I’ll just call Serizawa later”
Minegishi stared at him for a moment and then turned, shrugging.
“We didn’t make plans, I just came to make dinner so it’s alright”
“Oh…” So Minegishi didn’t want him to leave? He was hard to read. “Well, if that’s so, I’ll stay, yeah” Reigen was eager to accept, the meal was already smelling so good… “I can help, just tell me what I have to do”
“I’m good” Minegishi answered dryly. Alright, that meant no then, Reigen thought, and went back to drum his fingers on the counter while he watched the other cook in silence.
Minegishi’s fingers were long and dexterous, just like Reigen’s, but unlike Reigen’s they didn’t dance with grandious gestures; instead, each move was concise and useful, each flicker accentuated by the clank of the knife against the board. His palms were calloused… that’s right, Serizawa did mention he worked as a florist, or something like that.
It was only when Minegishi looked briefly on his direction that Reigen realized he’d been staring at his hands, probably for way longer than one would be expected to. Feeling nervous, he cleared his throat and looked away.
“You know, Serizawa talks about you. Uh, sometimes” Reigen said just to fill the silence, cursing himself for not knowing how to continue that.
“Is that so” Minegishi replied, once again turning to focus his gaze on Reigen’s eyes. Reigen couldn’t be sure if that meant he was interested in talking or if he should shut up.
“Yeah, he says how nice and patient you are” He elaborated. Shutting up wasn’t Reigen’s specialty, after all “And uh, you know… How you’re also working to improve yourself, like him… You really inspire him” He finished, embarrassed at how corny he might have sounded, and Minegishi’s expression changed slightly. One corner of his lips was pulled up, could it be that he was smiling?
“He talks about you, too” Minegishi said, and his voice sounded somehow softer “He says you might be a fraud but he stills love you”
Reigen could feel his face heating up. He loves me? He knew it, Serizawa had told him already, that was not a novelty; but he wasn’t really open about his feelings, so for him to say it so casually to Minegishi…
Wait a second.
“He-he did not say that…!” He acussed, and Minegishi did smile openly then, a hint of mischievous in his eyes.
“No he didn’t, but that’s how it sounds like”
Reigen fumbled for a moment, at lost on how to reply to that, but it turned out he didn’t need to reply at all. They heard a voice loudly singing something, in english and, to be honest, out of tune, so they knew Serizawa was here before the door got open and the singing died quickly.
“… Hello” Serizawa muttered after a few seconds in which the other two just stared at him in silence. His eyes were wide with surprise and his face red with embarrassment, but his little smile was warm and lovely.
Minegishi was the first to reply, a soft “hey” before returning to his task; and Reigen was the first to approach him and press a kiss on his blushed cheek, along with a whispered “how was your day?”
“Tiring” Replied Serizawa, sighing and pulling at his tie to undo it, but still smiling at the presence of his two partners. “I-I’m going to change, I’ll be right back” He said and dissapeared inside his room, leaving Reigen and Minegishi alone once again.
They kept silent this time, until some minutes later Minegishi announced dinner was ready.
“I’ll go get Serizawa” Reigen proposed, realizing that said man had not come back yet. Weird.
Or not so weird, since he knew the cause as son as he peeked into Serizawa’s room.
“He fell asleep. He looked really tired, I don’t want to wake him” He told Minegishi, who frowned and looked down at the plates he was already serving.
“Hm. Do you still wanna eat?”
Reigen’s stomach decided to sound in that exact moment.
“You bet I do”
