#i get rostered to work fridays occasionally - like this week bc i have sunday off - but next week its three days in a row

ive been scheduled to work the day after my birthday (a day im going to a party and planning to get shitfaced at) 🧍‍♂️🧍‍♂️🧍‍♂️

#bday is next thur #a friend is having a birthday party (for their bday not mine lol) that day #and so im gonna celebrate properly another day (prolly a picnic like i did last year) #but yknow im still taking this not-for-me party as a celebration? #and i was planning on going for dinner or lunch with my family the day after to do a small celebration.. but now i have to work that day #:( #i get rostered to work fridays occasionally - like this week bc i have sunday off - but next week its three days in a row #6hr shift friday and then two 9hrs in a row... god im gonna sleep all day the monday after #sigh. i guess i cant have fun at my birthday :/ #i cant get mad at work bc i did tell them i can work fridays as well as weekends but like they rarely put me fridays and never 3 days in a #and ig coworkers r going on holidays for the summer but im still :( #i was really looking forward to letting loose with my friends #i might have another party earlier that week but im not gonna get drunk at that bc im not close with the ppl there.. so :/ #sorry ik this is a dumb thing but like i have fun when i drink with my friends + i hate being the sober one taking care of my friends #so im annoyed ! #well at least its not ON my birthday just after #i guess #argentashes
