I have no idea what Lidl sneakers are 😅 I'm from Germany - as is Lidl - and I was genuinely wondering why people thought of it as special. Here it's a simple supermarket (or discounter, really).

Happy Woman's day radblr!

Every year lidl gives a red flower to any woman shopping, and I always go, because these flowers are so resilient, they last for a full month on my kitchen table, and they're very beautiful.

And also, every single m*n in lidl looks absolutely mutinous. Sour, angry, slighted, immensely injured. Because they don't get a flower. Love to see it!

so many posts about boycotting israeli dates include the fact that israeli suppliers are seeing a huge fall in profits this ramadan which yeah good as they should but which one of you mf was buying israeli dates to open your fast. and if you were buying the ones intentionally mislabelled as palestinian what rock were you living under that you didn’t know israel just straight up lies about that like they do everything else? they’ve been doing this for decades

My grandpa is a really great cook, esp italian but at some point last year or maybe two years ago it was. He got really into japanese food for a while, the issue is that hes like. Not cooking it like youd cook japanese food normally, hes kinda using his italian skills. So he made like ramen with tofu and the tofu was fried on olive oil. And he makes like pasta but the noodles are soba. So soba noodles with tomato sauce with oregano in it and olive oil fried tofu in it. I tried to cook for him a bunch of times like the chinese food that i usually eat and show him soy sauce that doesnt taste like plastic and stuff but he just trucks on.
