i’ve been thinking about making a masterpost of my favorite characters for all the media i like (whether or not i consider myself to be in the fandom for it) so here’s that masterpost :) keep in mind that if i don’t consider a character my favorite, i still like/love them unless i explicitly state otherwise, i just like some characters better than others

su/suf: it’s so hard to pick but if i had to pick i’d probably say bismuth, pearl (as well as her blue, yellow, and pink counterparts), ruby, sapphire, and peridot (specifically season 1-2 peridot, but she’ll always be great, i just consider her character arc to be when she’s at her best character-wise), in no particular order

spop: scorpia 100%, although double trouble and bow are tied for close second

toh: i love gus and willow so much, they’re definitely my favorites but i absolutely love and adore everyone else in the show (except belos, the crew did a great job making him as unlikable as possible lmao)

saf: tatiana :) yeah that’s all i’m gonna say she’s just the best

deltarune: i’m not quite sure but if i were to guess i’d say susie and lancer (mostly as a duo)

pokémon: ruby, sapphire, and emerald (manga), james (anime), lillie, gladion, and marnie (games)

ok ko: although there are so many likable characters in the show (i’d argue that it’s the minority of the cast of characters who are unlikable), i think that the main three (enid, rad, and ko)— as well as dendy and professor venomous— are my favorites

dt17: gyro and boyd (but mostly gyro) (i do love boyd though, i’d want him as a younger brother/younger brother figure he’s great)!! i’ve said this somewhere before but gyro’s a comfort character of mine, i couldn’t tell you why but he’s here and i care about him a lot

smile for me: i love tiff, lulia, and jerafina, they’re all gfs and i love them dearly, but more than them i love gillis, he’s adorable and i’m just in love with him

atla: toph and zuko, i care about the other characters too but i’m basic and i love them the most out of all the characters and i can’t really control that lmao

tlok: asami and tenzin

nge: ritsuko, maya, and rei

into the spider-verse: ik they’re probably the three most focused-on in the movie so this may come across as basic but i love miles, gwen, and peter b so much, their dynamic is great and they’re great individually (again all of the characters in the movie are great but those three come to mind first when thinking about my favorites of the movie)

animaniacs: i love all of the warner sibs very much and that’s all i feel like i need to say (although i often find myself being pretty partial to yakko)

bapc: moully!! he’s my boy and i cannot for the life of me get enough of him, i love him so much that it’s unreal (and crispin is a slightly distant but still prominent second favorite)

lwa: lotte, diana, ursula/chariot, and sucy (in that order)

gf: the stans are my first favorite (they’re tied) and dipper’s my second favorite, i appreciate bill but i refuse to say he’s one of my favorites

kataow: jamack, not much else to say there i just love him

encanto: bold of you to assume i can pick a favorite

cuphead: in terms of the game, i don’t have a favorite, but the devil and king dice are very fun in the show

sonic movie/sonic movie 2: knuckles :)

heartstopper: it’s hard for me to pick a favorite but i love elle and isaac

sorry this post is kinda long, and if it shows up in the main tags lmao, using cuts has usually fucked up the text on my posts in the past
