#musings #bandit writes fic #dr1 end rewrite fic #i make a lot of comments about whether danganronpa canon entries stick the landing or not #some of them are good but don't get the end right (dr2) #some of them are iffy but hit the landing (dr3) #(dr1 is acceptable on both counts i think #udg is the best entry so far in terms of the games #but it is so much either hit or miss that like #-gestures-) #(dr kirigiri had some hit/miss aspects #three books for the twelve cases was #rough #BUT it hit the landing SO WELL #minus the epilogue we don't talk about the makoto cameo here xD) #so for me it's looking at these fics and did i hit the landing #will i hit the landing #i think oaei needs a bit of smoothing out but hits #i don't think oafc's ending is as set up as i want because it is so long and i figured out and changed some things in the writing #but i think if set up properly and smoothed out it will hit #but i don't think it's as strong as oaei is #and that's in part on ME as a reader #i love oaei and there are parts of it i really ALREADY like going back to and running through #there aren't as many of those in oafc #and it's because i was trying to shove too much in one thing #i think now that i have a better idea of what it's supposed to be i can smooth some of that out #but right now it's a mess #WHICH IS FINE BECAUSE IT'S A ROUGH DRAFT #and y'all aren't even going to get chapters until september #xD
