Dear Future Significant other (husband/wife ):

I honestly don't know how to start this. At this point in my life, I'm 19 and have no plans of getting married in the near future or honestly at all. Not saying that that won't change. If it does you're a very special person and you've probably left my family in 110 % shock. if you've made it this far you probably know all there is to know about me. Let me go ahead and admit to things that I probably won't admit to in the furture. Yes, I can be difficult and it may often seem like I don't care because growing up I was taught to refrain from showing emotions and to trust no one.  You’ve obviously broken through most if not all of my barriers so kudos to you. Now for my end, I promise to work on my issues and to always be there for you. I promise to support you in your endeavors. I promise to agree to disagree when arguments get us nowhere and, to avoid arguments altogether. I promise to listen to your opinions because I understand you want what's best for me. Ultimately I promise to be your best friend as well as your S/O.
