I definitely feel you. In fact, I still see others peoples’ sets and wonder like wow, they’re so good and there’s me. I think that I’m an awful photoshopper compared to the talented people on here, frankly. But, I think that it’s all practice. Nobody’s NOT cut out for something. I don’t mean this as like I’m boasting but I sing, I write, I dance, I act, and I photoshop occasionally. I’m not CUT OUT to do all these things, frankly nobody’s cut out to do so many things. It’s a very easy mix to explain, nonnie. You just got to keep practicing. Recently, I saw an article that talks about the pot throwing experience:

It’s the same with me; I’ve made a trillion sets. My first sets were so horrible, but eventually as I made 600000 sets and edits and icons that were gross. I figured it out. My tips would be as following: read good tutorials- like actually mimic what they’re doing step by step so you can figure out how coloring works. Once you’ve understand what tools does what for your gifs, and once you’ve cracked how selective coloring works, your battle is practically won. Likewise, pro-tip: I tend to try and see what layers they’re using. This definitely has helped me sm in understanding levels. I usually like tutorials that are posted not by the normal photoshop blogs but other good photoshoppers. Likewise, /tagged/ps should have resources. Mainly, learn actions, sharpening, and coloring. These three will succeed. And also, if you feel like oh, my gifs aren’t popular; mine aren’t too. As Alina, as my photoshop queen (@zayedkhan929), always says: it’s not about notes, fam. Always have a lit buddy like Alina that’s gonna help w PS, that can be me if needed.
