my life has been forever changed since someone on twitter said that playing their sims save files on long lifespan (with suuuuper long individual life stages through mccc) totally solved their problem of getting bored with saves

#i am a family gameplay sims person through and through #i like my sims couples MONOGAMOUS IN LOVE AND DRAMA FREE #anyway i literally sat down and did the math on paper to translate how long each sim lifestage would be #using a 14 day season #and calculated that into a realistic human lifespan #so for example #if a toddler is a toddler from age like 1.5 to 4ish then i did the math to make that 2 and a half sims years going by the seasons calendar #and it’s made it so much more fun to play #i haven’t been tempted to jump around and just make other families super quick because i’ve gotten to know and invested so much time in this #one #like i saw these two sims through college their first apartments their early jobs their wedding and now their kids #and it’s genuinely so much more fun #anyways #if you were also having that issue and didn’t want to blow up ur storyline with drama #i recommend slowing the fuck down and not burning out so quickly on a save
