okay okay so archivist martin au, right. it is not at All fleshed out just yet, but I do have some aspects figured out >:3c

I’ve been mostly toying with how the jane prentiss situation goes down, and I think it still goes down as normal. just with a few diff twists :)

martin gets the job as head archivist (I’m thinking he’s been marked both by the web and the end, which catches elias’ attention) and he’s like standing in his office, doing that nervous chuckle because “oh I am so not qualified for this.” and ofc sasha and tim are nothing but encouraging with martin and jon is…. jon.

because yes, even with martin as his boss, this man is Still going to criticize everything martin does and doesn’t hesitate to call him out on his incompetence. he’s also still… yk. using the skepticism as a way to mask his fear, so we still get that little heart to heart in the storage closet <3

so !!! jane prentiss.

martin finds carlos vittery’s statement and shares it with the others and jon is ofc Super skeptical. and his comment really gets under martin’s skin and he’s like “fine. fine you want proof? I’ll get it.” so we still have martin breaking into vittery’s apartment and all that stuff happens.

tim and sasha notice that martin hasn’t been into the archives for a few days and so they send jon to check in on him and…. haha uh oh it’s worm lady.

I offer you the mental image of jon like. Idk decking prentiss in the face, kicking martin’s door open, grabbing his hand, and rushing back to the institute. btw they hold hands the entire way there <3
