Just watched this movie and I kind of like the plot. The cinematography was just ok there was a time I was zoned out and think about my life and then realise the scenes were suppose to be scary where I totally lost my interest. I think bollywood needs to take notes from korean horrror movies like they are hell scary , the graphics/ special effects they use are awsome I am pretty sure bollywood has no money problem lol my question is why they didnt use some good special effects , I feel like I am watching a horror movie of 2002 instead of 2023

anyway overall I didnt totally dislike the movie obviously I like Rakul preet she is fabulous actor in my point of view. so

I is for India on day 12 of #31daysofhorror and I watched "Bandh Darwaza" (The Closed Door) from 1990, although it looks like a much earlier production, and directed by Shyam Ramsay and Tulsi Ramsay. This is Dracula, Bollywood-style including the melodramatic ballads ("...I was a spark but now I'm only darkness...") and long weaving storyline. One sees the influence of folktales (Snow White and Sleeping Beauty) as well as popular 80s horror (e.g. an entire scene made to look like "Suspiria" and an utter rip-off of Harry Manfredini's theme from "Friday the 13th"). She has become so famous that she was called to give an audition and even got role confirmed in a movie. Which happens to be horror flick with bunch of women travelling to a new house, this movie will be soon releasing in India.
