A Tumblr User’s Guide To Youtube Channels ft. My Sub Box

[These are channels I’m subscribed to :3] [Disclaimer: a lot of these channels swear and make dirty jokes so :) and this post is gonna be long. ] [Also these should all be linked to their YT channel]

Ok let’s start from The Big Three

Pewdiepie - Kinda obvious, but he's a classic variety channel and honestly if you haven't even tried... Just try. If aint your style, then check the others out.

[This goes for all of the channels. Obviously we are not the same people so we will not like the same things. So if a channel isn't your type, then okay not a big deal.]

Markiplier - Another variety gaming channel with a reputation for horror games.

Jacksepticeye - Very similar to Markiplier but nor much horror. If you like the first two, high chance you'll like Jacksepticeye.

Gaming Channels

IGP - A gaming channel that plays a lot of indie games (Per his name "IndieGamePromo"). He usually plays games in development and is very passionate with gaming. Also his reactions to playing horror is *chef's kiss*

[The next three channels are similar in that they don't do full on playthroughs. Their videos are purely for entertainment. So if you like games but get easily bored with long playthroughs or you just want a laugh try these.]

Slimecicle - He makes a lot of puns and occasionally plays Minecraft. Fucking funny as fuck

CallMeKevin - He likes not taking the games seriously and intentionally messes things up. Which is fun and different from serious players.

RTGame - Occasionally collabs with Kevin which is amazing. Has high engagement with his Twitch Subscribers as he usually creates servers in games like Minecraft, Don't Starve Together or Terraria and force them to do his bidding. XD

Quackity - Just like RTGame, he has high engagement with viewers as he has a discord server where he hosts events that allow members to have a chance to win a prize and people watching his Twitch stream can participate in voting and etc.

SovietWomble - He's mainly a Twitch Streamer and rarely post videos on YT but the videos on his YT channel are beautifully edited. There's even a video of a guy discussing his methods of editing and the hard work that goes behind the camera.

Drumsy - A VRChat youtuber that does hilarious videos occasionally with strangers (I mean its VRChat, what do you expect)

Syrmor - A VRChat youtuber with videos that have serious themes. Basically he interviews strangers and these strangers talk about their life. There are videos of people talking about being abused, bullied or having medical conditions and the beauty of it is that these are basically anonymous. And they occasionally mention how VR as a whole gives them a chance to live a whole other life. So there's a lot of heavy but wholesome content here.

The Misfits

[These youtubers are a different category. They're basically a bunch of friends fooling around in games and also in their joint channel, Misfits. And I feel like if you like one, you'll like the others. The main appeal of their channel isn't the game, it's the jokes. Also their jokes aren't for those sensitive. They curse a lot, they also do weed XD and are fucking funny.]

Misfits - Joint Channel that gives us a peek in their 'scuffed' lives

*They also have a podcast.

Meme Galore

Grandayy - One of the biggest meme compilers and often makes the memes in Minecraft.

Dolan Dark - Another meme compiler.

FlyingKitty - A parody channel that brings memes to the max

Beauty Channels

bestdressed - a small youtuber that does a lot of outfit compilations and thrift flips which are videos where they alter clothing that they buy in thrift shops. The youtuber, Ashley, also usually talks about her life and is very relatable.

Safiya Nygaard - a funny youtuber who tries out things by request and should be checked out.

Wholesome Content

MrBeast - If you know Pewdiepie, you know MrBeast. This guy does funny challenges but the content I love the most is when he gives. Like he did several Donating To Streamers videos, some donating to random people or the homeless and then having people do a challenge and reward them if they are the last to give up.

Yes Theory - I love these guys. They do this thing where they invite strangers to go with them and do something they wouldn't usually do. Their motto is "Seek Discomfort" and being spontaneous is their middle name. All in all, they live a life where anything could happen but they are deciding what to do with it.

Other Channels

Game Theory - this channel, with MatPat being the main host, discusses theories about games. However these theories are, as much as possible, supported by evidence. Some of the theories are bizarre but nevertheless it's just fun to theorise.

Film Theory - This is a sister channel for film theories (duh)

*There is also GTLive where they play games and spill tea.

Nexpo - If you like horror, then this guy discusses disturbing things from around the internet and goes in depth with the internet mysteries and urban legends.

Buzzfeed Unsolved - Need I say more? Yes? Okay so basically they talk about unsolved mysteries whether it be unsolved crimes or unsolved supernatural mysteries.
