Although some of the Kin aren’t happy with his return, it does make a few things easier – like when Daniil is caught performing an autopsy. Only, he wishes someone had told him what consequences marrying the man would have.

Bachelor Has a Heart (After All) (G, 1k; wordslikewater); artemy/daniil implied The Bachelor is doing his best to be a good dad. He accidentally breaks one of Murky's things. Now he has to fix it.

There’s only letters, and letters have to be delivered. Strange.There are some holes in the narrative, and The Bachelor is foolish enough to pull at the thread fraying around them. In the end, The Bachelor's disbelief is strong enough to perform miracles.

(M, 40k; qawerian, seefaster); artemy/daniil After Dankovsky gets a mysterious invitation to a scientific conference in the Capital, Burakh and him decide to pay a visit to Daniil's hometown to figure out what's going on and to run some errands, while they're at it.

how long ‘til my soul gets it right (E, 14k; zentashadoe); lara/yulia Something strange twisted around Lara's heart, squeezing it. She looked so different and yet exactly how she’d imagined herself. The shirt and pants were loose yet showed so much more than her usual dress, her legs framed by the black fabric rather than obscured under flowing skirts. Lara was overwhelmed with emotion and clutched her hands close to her chest, tears springing in her eyes. It felt like coming home to a place she’d never even been before.

i can see us in a house next year (T, 9k; swevery); artemy/daniil “If you’re staying, does that mean you can teach me medicine?” “Ime beshe, Spichka! I’ll shut the door behind me, shall I?” “You said there was more than just surgery. Mr. Bachelor knows all about - “ “Thanatology.” Daniil provided as the boy trailed off. Murky’s nose wrinkled at the long word, but she didn’t comment. Sticky tried repeating it and got caught on the consonants. “See! The hostess of the Stillwater tries her best to give them a warm welcome.

Maybe a Hint (T, 2k; Emby_M); mark/peter Mark and Peter reunite and drink some wine. Peter thinks about much.

Mortūus, Vīvus, Baccalaureus (M, 9k; carefulfleshgnawer); daniil, pre-game Daniil Dankovsky meeting the dead, the hardly living, and the dying in morbid little vignettes.

neither for me nor the honey bee (E, 2k; hoverbun); aglaya/yulia She will march across town and she will meet the woman she begged to forget.

Non Nobis Solum (G, 1k; derwentian); daniil & eva This town’s problems don’t cease to exist after sundown, as nice as that would be. In fact, some problems seem to rise with the moon. It’s quite late by the time he’s wrapped up the last of the day’s foolishness (arson, of all things!) and dragged himself over the threshold of the Stillwater.

Operation Mistletwyre (M, 10k; papercaper); artemy/daniil In which the big city Bachelor desperately needs a kick in the ass to act on his crush, and conveniently, Sticky happens to have matchmaking skills which rival those of Cupid.

Ouroboro (M, 4k; junglecatt); artemy/daniil As you run you think about Burakh, and your subliminal fascination grows into something more explicit. For a short moment, where your breath is quick and labored and your heels hurt from rubbing against the back of your boots, you look lovingly at the bouquet you have been presented with, and you admire death like you admire flowers. You admire Burakh for picking them.

Picking Up the Pieces (T, WIP; wordslikewater); artemy/daniil Thanatica is gone, the Polyhedron is destroyed, and Dankovsky has nothing left to hold onto. Perhaps, with Artemy Burakh, he can find something new.

reproval (T, 1k; peppermint_latte); daniil-centric * warning for discussions of ableism & transphobia They didn't really plan it, but between them working together as the town's resident doctors and their budding relationship, Artemy and Daniil have somehow become co-parents to Sticky and Murky. Being a parent himself leads Daniil to remember a lot of things about his own childhood he's tried to forget.

rescue me (with organs preferably) (T, 1k; sighing_crustacean); artemy/daniil Whenever soulmarks were the topic of conversation, Artemy was laughed at. He understood why – most people had something totally benign like 'how can I help you today' or 'can you tell me how to get to the library', which were totally normal things to be the first thing you said to a stranger. The first words Artemy’s soulmate was destined to say to him, on the other hand, left a lot to be desired. “Maybe they’re a serial killer?” Lara suggested.

Yulia was always solving problems, whether it was lines on a map or strange shapes forming a square. Or, like now, tying knots.

Sugarplum (E, 1k; Yulicia); artemy/daniil You’ve always thought you didn’t know how to love. He seems determined to teach you. You seem determined to let him.

Tea Indeed (G, 1k; celestia); daniil & murky When Artemy has a stomach bug Daniil, Murky, and Sticky stay out of the house. Murky and Daniil's friendship solidifies.

This could all go so wrong (T, 10k; acidicvapour); daniil/peter It turns out Daniil's roommate has a twin. Too bad he wasn't prepared for that.

This Fire Burning In Our Brains (T, 5k; TheVelvetUndergrowth); daniil & murky In which the future Mistress of Earth encounters an unexpected visitor before discovering an enlightening truth about herself.

Ugly Duckling (M, 2k) and A Debt Paid in Full (T, 2k; Yulicia); artemy/daniil A day in November; in which the Haruspex cannot see himself as the Bachelor does and needs to be corrected. A day in early December; in which it is the Bachelor's turn to be flattered shamelessly.

Unsteady Ground (G, 1k; acrimsondaisy); grace & peter "He should have stood his ground against Feugel. It had been weakness that had made him give in. The same weakness that now, he saw, as inevitable evidence of his own inadequacy. Grace deserved a better guardian than someone like Peter."

warmth-shapes, wound-shapes (T, 4k; Oxygen); andrey/daniil “I’m traveling to Italy this summer. Would you like to come along?” Daniil looks up from his reading. Andrey is still writing away, though it seems that his notes have devolved into aimless sketching. “Italy?” Daniil asks. “What are you planning on doing there?”

the way the old life haunts the new (G, 1k; Jagged); artemy & rubin Two men walk into the steppe and fill a hole.

what a lovely way to burn (E, 2k; euphoricnitrogen); eva/yulia It had been a simple case of opposites attract; Eva’s carefree attitude to Yulia’s stern demeanor, her capriciousness to the other’s stability, one who wore skirts for the purpose of attracting other women and one who wore pants for the same purpose. What one lacked, the other made up, and although conflicting ideals sometimes lead to arguments, they were well matched otherwise. It made sense, then, that what had started off as Eva’s flippant suggestion had turned into something so deliberate. If Eva thought about it too long, she’d get teary eyed; the amount of work her partner put into satisfying her was overwhelming sometimes.

The Wherewithal of Sacrificants (M, 21k; transknights); artemy/daniil It would be a fool’s dying wish, that the monsters who lurked around the edges of the Steppe did not make themselves a home within the twisted confines of the capital.

Who’s Heart Could I Break Today? (T, 27k; nameless_wanderer); artemy/daniil Late-mid-20th-century road trip au, the three healers go on a road trip together and they get to have normal human drama surrounding friendship and romance and shit without the terrifying threat of the plague weighing on them.
