I don't want to be famous anymore - ShortStory

Dear Diary, 

I feel like I don't want to be famous anymore. Yes, it is very nice to be famous. Many people love you, many people recognise you, they want selfies, you receive a lot of money especially when you are an actor. But people don't know the other side of being famous. 

Today I was going to the mall. Like usual people wanted selfies, they couldn't believe I was actually here etc… When I was leaving a couple came running towards me asking for a selfie since their kid was a big fan of mine. So I took the quick selfie and got into my car. I didn't start my car until like 5 minutes later as I was checking my meeting schedule. The weird part is that the couple also didn't start their car till I started mine. I brushed that off thinking it was just a coincidence. Then almost 7-8 minutes into my drive I noticed them driving right behind me. I brushed that off too. But things got very suspicious when they stopped their car right behind mine when I stopped to get a drink. Then they followed me all the way to my office where I ran to my secretary who asked me to call the police and so I did. When the police arrived they questioned the couple and the reasoning they gave was that they wanted to know where I live so that they could show their daughter.

That is a very sweet thing that they tried to do for their daughter but little did they realize they are invading my privacy. People sometimes just don't understand that even we are normal people who have something called privacy. They think that they know everything that is happening in my life but they don't. And sometimes things worse than this happen like them destroying our property because they didn't like a movie of mine. I wish this wasn't the case….
