a fic outline/hc that i will never write but thought was cute

- richie and eddie leave derry and forget abt each other as per ush

- richie becomes a singer, and starts weiting songd abt a fragile boy he used to love

- the media goes crazy trying to figure out who this mystery boy is

- now in his 20s eddie is doing some boring job that makes him genuinely happy cus hes a loser

- he never really listens to any kind of music but then his coworker recommends him a new Rich Tozier song

- and he feels some weird connection to it

- then eddie goes a little well, eddie

- and starts obsessing over richie but not as a fan but sorta like when ur trying to rmr some toy or show from ur childhood and u just cant put ur finger on it

- richie is also freaking out bc he doesnt even know who this person js or why he created him so elaborately

- he starts obsessing over it to the point where he maybe wants to find who it is too?? idk wait better idea

- he gets rlly drunk or high or something

- and he gets arrested and mike like bails him out or something cus he never forgot richie and ofc mike knows eddie

- im not totally sure i love the bail out thing but SOMEHOW he meets a loser

- maybe he goes to a meet up for a bill denbrough book signing

- or he meets beverly at a music store

- btw richie is like buddy holly as in he isnt a badass rockstar but somehow he still a rockstar

- also pennywise doesnt exist but derrt still has weird vibes

or maybe he exists but they fully defeated him thenfirst time cus i want the reunion to b different

- anyway so now richie rmrs eddie but theres no way to contact him cus its like the 90s or eddie hates technology idk he definitely lives somewhere remote

- but richie like puts out a fuckin amber alert typa bullshit and eddies sleeping during this and he wakes up and is like .

- WHAT

- then he eddies some more as always and freaks out bc!!! hes eddie!!! but the thing is he still doesn't remember richie??

- but then he goes home or something whike richies staying at home to find edward

- and he finds himself walkin at the barrens or something and richie is there too or they run into each other idk

- i just want them meeting to be like a one on one thing and then after they rmr the rest of the losers and meet up and become shepherds or something idk
