Today was productive.

Made about thirty two ounces of brown butter. Going to bake the most delicious cookies with that.

downside we have ran out of milk. Apparently I can still bake delicious deserts. My girlfriend and her family won't stop taking them. heh.

Went over the outline for what I'm writing. It's been a fun exercise in my spare time when I have it. Started another smaller side-project for when I have writers block. Outlined an rpg like game that is a bit personal. Days I wish I kept a journal. I can barely remember anything from the past few years. Outside of tiredness, stress, my cousins negligence nearly getting me killed. Having to move out of said situation in less than 24 hours. The usual rigmarole really.

Now...we sleep yis yis. I should really stop using the royal we.

Also I keep seeing Helldivers being brought up when I can keep my eyes unglued from the Niji drama. It looks like fun? I dunno, I just bought the two player set for Dystopian Wars. >_>; Table top war game based on naval combat. why not?

Helldivers looks like it could be a lot of fun.

So the other building I sometimes work at since I transferred out of there has enacted a new policy.

... well it would be a crying shame if someone I don't know got/built an am radio transmitter a d illegally broadcasted a pre-recorded set list that may include such hit classics like, "The city is at war" by cobra starship, this interesting number my gf found called "I got a bad feeling (oompa loompa)" by jagwar twin, and two personnel favorites from my tastes 15 years ago. Puritannia by Dimmu Borgir and "The F-Track" by Showtek.

It's the weirdest thing. So my gf lost her job recently. But she has done this job since she was 18. She has 13 years of experience as a dietary cook.

She gets hired at a local senior rehab center instantly. After two cooks who lied about their experience walked out. When she came in for an interview...another lady filling out paperwork claimed to be her. Which made no sense. But this is meth/crack/heroin country.

The kitchen had...no uniform. No msds that we could tell. No structure. No separation of duties. Nobody knew to clean their workstation to prevent cross contamination from her observation. Everything seemed...a mess?

.....the big irony is that they are still paying her more to do half the work she did at our hospital.
