Character Idea Dump
Basically, I spent far too much time playing with a character creators to fluff up my like Urban Fantasy/Sci-Fiish Star Wars AU.
Tumblr media
A typical outfit for Solus if she was not involve in picking things out. Overall, she’s not super into wearing the Councillor's preferred colors but some days it is far easier to not fight it.
Tumblr media
A typical outfit as picked out by Solus. She favors grays, blacks, and whites over the Yellow-Red-Purple monstrosities of the Sheevy Outfits. Her Force Powers on display are also reserved for not playing her puppet part. Despite growing up with Sheev for over a decade she absolutely does not trust him. In her mind, he has her to have leverage over Mandalore. The same goes for his subtle attempts to keep her powers scaled down. He wants a Prophetess more than he wants a Mandalorian Warrior.
Tumblr media
This disaster is entirely in line with something they would prefer she wears for galas, dinners, and the like. The long, flowy skirt and sleeves offer a tripping hazard while the jewelry makes her feel owned. Her hair style is atrocity in her mind even with the fact her handmaiden, Kamelia, styling it. This one of her least favorite looks ever.
Tumblr media
A running around outfit she loves to wearing while training. The colors are derived from Aliit Vetra. Exposed skin helps to keep her cool while darting to and fro. Her fiance, Anakin (as named by Sheev), is very keen on having her as a training partner more often then not. Everything about her Ani breaks a lot of the rules. Sheev pushed him into the position of General within the current war with lukewarm approval from the Jedi Order. However, he continues to hold her back no matter how much Solus lusts for the chance to fight.
Tumblr media
Kamelia Malo the handmaiden no one wanted. While still technically a member of the Jedi Order she spends the bulk of her time within the Councillor’s supposed inner circle by riding Solus’ coattails. She’s absolute enamored with Sheev and his ideas to improve their world. Aside from serving as a Handmaiden (and unwitting informant for Sheev) she also trained Solus in using the Force to heal...Solus blew past her in mere weeks. It’s still a sore spot.
Tumblr media
Jazari Naaji (I got as close to her typical look as well as I could because in universe she would still be a half-human/half-mirilian) serves as one of Solus’ escorts around the city-state of Coruscant and out into other countries. A Jedi just as keen with technologies as their otherworldly powers she quickly became one of Solus’ best friends. She finds Kamelia tiring and helps train Solus in the Force on the sly. Unofficially, Jazari is supposed to kept tabs on the goings on for her master, Arligan Zey and his intel networks.
Tumblr media
Lumi Kirrin (I got as close as I could; in universe she would be 3/4 Twi’lek and 1/4 Sephi) the second of Solus’ guards and Lumi’s partner. She absolutely loathes Kamelia and never attempts to hide her contempt at sharing air with the decrepit toad. Along with Jazari, she also out and out trains Solus in combat and the Force. They were best friends from the first time their eyes met. An unofficial part of her jobs is keeping tabs on things for her master, Mace Windu. Her reports come through with mixed results to protect Solus.
Tumblr media
Senator Padme Amidala of the country of Naboo. She is one of the most vocal members of the Republic Senate and the true apple of her Anakin’s eye. There’s no hard feelings between her and Solus over the arranged marriage. In fact, Solus actively tries to give the duo time alone because she wants her dear friends to be happy. There’s also the fact she’s hoping Padme can talk some sense into Ani about Sheev.
Tumblr media
Bo-Katan Kryze. The exiled sister of the Mandalorian Duchess Satine Kryze and the leading face of the rogue knight collective known as Death Watch. Her goal is to take back what is rightfully theirs as well as making Mandalore friendly for Mandalorians beyond the New Mandalorian Party. In actuality, she’s the second in command of Death Watch as well as the leader of the specialty team, the Nite Owls. Her and Solus cross paths before staying on the same course. Mandalore First. Not the Republic, not the Jedi, not the New Mandalorians and their farce of a government: Mandalorians that follow the Resol’nare. That is their home.

7 for Solus, Lumi, Kamila, Jai, and Harti?
7. Something they’re proud of?
Solus: Everything she’s done for Kyr’tsad. With the Order she never felt like she did enough or was given the chance to truly make a difference. With Pre and Bo-Katan and the others that changed. She found who she was again, regained her Soul, and truly got to help Mandalore.
Lumi: She learned to open herself up again after mastering her Shatterpoints. It would have been so easy to stay closed off and stoic. Acting the part of a Jedi without feeling anything so she could stay focused. But, she managed to move past that to have best friends, lovers, younger siblings in Hera and Kanan, and even her children. It took so much to do it but she is so proud.
Kamelia: She became a Padawan. It was touch and go for a long time but she made it.
Jai: Solus. The fact he saved her from being raised by her mother and grandmother. He gave her the tools survive, grow, and thrive and he couldn’t be prouder of her.
Harti: There’s a little being in the Galaxy that he helped raise. He’s always gonna remember her as 3 years old drawing on armor but also the maverick who helped unite Mandalore.

★★★★★
★: When Lumi finally forges her beskar’gam she pants it a dark blue and red theme. The dark blue for Fenn and his arm and red because it’s her favorite color.
★: Kamelia actually survives Order 66 to the shock of everyone. Lumi’s gut reaction is to want to draw a blaster and finish it off. No one would miss her. Solus stop her only because “Thought you said you didn’t do mercy kills?”
★: Harti absolutely cannot hold his liquor. He tries desperately but it just never works out. Jai, who drinks like a tank, ends up taking care of him more often than note.
★: Jai has no artistic talent what so ever. We’re talking he has stencils to make painting his armor way easier. Otherwise, he manages to drip paint everywhere or make a line crooked. It’s horrible. He wants to cry a little when his three year old manages to free hand straight lines.
★: Jazari is a fantastic breakdancer.
For every “★” I get, I will post a fact about my characters.

20, 21, 34, for anyone you’d like!
For this one, I’m going with my main four characters: Solus Vetra, Lumi Kirrin, Jazari Naaji, and Kamelia Malo! It’s going under a cut because I already know I’m going to get long winded with it.
Are they insecure or happy with themselves?
Solus is happy with herself more often then not. There’s always room to improve things (she’s only going to stop that when she’s dead) but overall she’s content. After what felt like forever Solus finally became herself again and found her true purpose. The further she gets from the Jedi Tenants the happier she becomes.
Lumi is super happy with herself. Are there flaws? Yes, but they’re her flaws. Some little habits she needs to change, others set in stone that she has just accepted, and a few that straddle the line between flaw and strength. But, she considers the important thing is she recognizes her own self worth.
Jazari is insecure sometimes. When compared to the other two, it is hard to not feel down on herself some days. Solus and Lumi are extraordinary in her mind. Their generation will be shaped by them. Those feelings come up even more during the Clone Wars. Most of her time is spent within Arca Barracks running the back end of various ops next to their much more active Front Line Presence. It feels like they are risking more, doing more, giving more to the War Effort. But, they make damn sure she knows she’s just as valuable as they are, if not more so. Because they’re always going to lift each other up.
Kamelia’s middle name could be Insecurity at this point. Instead of building herself up from the inside she depends too heavily on outside validation. The simplest bit of constructive criticism sends her spiraling into the depths of self-loathing and puts up all of her walls. It was an okay system until she went from being the shining star of her age group to falling behind. Instead of trying to work past it she continues to be catty, hypocritical, and frankly self-adsorbed.
Opinion on romance?
Solus has a pretty favorable opinion of romance. It takes a backseat a lot to everything else going on in her life but she does enjoy the gestures. Nothing ostentatious like roof top declarations or useless, gaudy gifts catches her eye. But, the small things like remembering her favorite food or forehead kisses? Surprising her with flowers or fixing a weapon/starfighter/etc for her or running a bath for her because her day sucked? Yeah, those will always win her heart over. She’s not there for the fleeting feelings but the long haul instead.
Lumi is wary of traditional romance. It feels like society at large puts too much emphasis on it. Everything about “Love and Romance” is supposed to be some kind of grandiose display of claiming one another. None of that appeals to her on any level. Instead, she prefers a quiet comfort derived from being together. A feeling of caring and belonging and home. Basically, she wants the only difference between her friendships and partnerships to be agreed upon rules among themselves. If she cares about someone then she cares about them. There’s no strange feeling of mystery or excitement to put it on some unattainable pedestal. That being said, she will melt from little gestures from her lover(s). Those are the things that matter most to her.
Jazari really enjoys spoiling others with little romantic gestures. There’s something that warms her heart about warming others hearts. Flowers, little snacks, fixing a broken datapad, even just the cutesy messages back and fourth throughout the day are fantastic to her. Being on the receiving end is almost always equally as nice. Just spoiling one another with little dates to fall deeper and deeper in love makes her happy. The Galaxy has enough hate and discord, what is needs now is love and kindness.
Kamelia has a very torn opinion on romance. Outwardly, she denies wanting it. Because romance implies falling in love therefore breaking the Code. She is so desperate to be a good Jedi she will do anything to avoid breaking those rules. Hell, she judges those who fail to follow the Code repeatedly. But…she wants romance. She wants the big gestures and shows of affection. More than anything she wants someone to show her off (and that she can show off) because they belong together. She watches dramatic romances or historical dramas dreaming of living the charmed lives of the heroines. Dating, love, marriage, and babies ever after is what she wants but refuses to admit.
Do they have any trauma? if so, what?
Solus had a very traumatic life before the Jedi Order. She was born during the Great Clan Wars on Mandalore and was almost executed during it, at age four along with fellow future Countess, Ursa Wren (age 14/15 and the general of the stronghold), in an attempt to take the planet. The Jedi voting her in was luck but also a curse because she was always too much for them. She grew up bullied for being Mandalorian, for being a “Bad Guy” if you followed the Republic’s biased history. She was also far too intelligent, too skilled, and too keyed into a sort of Past Force Vision sense to make anyone comfortable. At eleven, she became a Padawan and forged her second lightsaber, to dual wield at her Master’s suggestion for a challenge. At fifteen, she was grouped into the Jedi Assault Team for Geonosis and watched Jango Fett (the last True Mandalorian, legacy of Jaster Mereel, and her Manda’lor) die by Mace Windu’s hand. Her history died and she blamed herself. Only a few months later her Master, Leska, died during the Battle of Jabiim, along with most of their Clone Troopers and 26 other Jedi overall, leaving Solus to snatch a barely there victory from the jaws of defeat.
Lumi was born in a very Hutt Cartel controlled region of Ryloth. Her father was a Lethan Twi’lek slave and her mother his half-Sephi, half-Rutian Twi’lek master. Because of his misstep of “seducing” her mother, her father was executed, then some months later her mother died in childbirth. By age three, she knew was considered weird among her family and often ignored, due to her innate talents with Shatterpoints and reading everything. It was only a matter of when, not if, they would grow tired of her and make a lot of quick credits. The Jedi Order was a blessing and a curse. They had no idea how to handle her fear and anger but Mace Windu helped. Her understood her Shatterpoints and her feelings and helped so much. At age 11, he became her Master and at 15, the reason she was on Geonosis. Seeing him kill Jango Fett, feeling the reactions of everyone around her (Solus screaming in unimaginable pain like death and Boba wailing) changed her opinions. Their slave army, her repeated trips to Ryloth, and her Master’s devotion to the Republic made life difficult.
Jazari was born on Jedha, in the capital city even. Her mother was on an extended pilgrimage from Mirial to Jedha to see the Kyber Temple while her father was a mechanic and native. Early on her mother left (she has no memories of her) but she grew up with her father. He died when she three leaving her an orphan. Until a Jedi could be dispatched to bring her to the Temple she lived with Guardians and was sad to leave them. Her life could’ve been idyllic among the Jedi except she favored tech to people and she befriended outcasts, Solus, Lumi, and Kamelia. At 12, she became a Padawan to Arligan Zey exposing her to fantastic master but also to the underbelly of the Galaxy within Intel. At 16, she helped run back end operations for Geonosis spending many agonizing hours waiting to hear who lived and who died. From there, she was tossed headlong into the war rarely to the front lines but always analyzing data, holed up in Arca Company Barracks and within the Special Operations Brigade. Included in her tasks was making judgement calls that the many outweighed the few…something she absolutely loathed. They were out there dying as she stayed on Coruscant safe.
Kamelia was given to the Jedi Order as an infant. Everything about her life should’e been cookie cutter perfect within the Temple walls. She was never the outsider in terms of age or life experiences. Her touch of Force Visions and quick skills should’ve made her a shoe in to make friends. Instead, she stayed isolated because of her preoccupation with the Future instead of the Now. As that dividing line grew wider her age-mates’ tolerances of her attitudes grew thinner. She was a teacher’s pet of sorts, a bit of a tattletale, and socially awkward leading to her being teased. Accepting Solus’ offer of friendship, with Lumi and Jazari as well, cemented her Outsider status. It was difficult but not impossible until her friends, the ones who were always ranked beneath her in a way, shot forward into Padawanship…while she did not. It created a rift between her and her only friends. They were always away on missions while she stayed back…waiting. By 15.5 she became a Padawn, finally, when she was assigned to a Master. The fear of being sent to the Service Corps or ousted from the only home she had ever known, because of failure, weighed on her. The other three at least knew a life outside the Temple. The Clone Wars only touched her life in abstract ways. She was never assigned to the fronts, never left the Halls of Healing (exactly where she wanted to be), and never feared really. Until, Solus was assigned there to study (after Leska’s death for the 3 months it took Master Fisto to claim her) challenging Kamelia’s barely held on grip to “I am worth something” because her former friend was moving into her skill set better than her.

AU: Hear Our War Cries as We Burn Your Cities Down
Or, I wrote a What If... fic, got attached to the idea, and slowly built a full fucking AU for it. Because I have the impulse control of a stoner the candy aisle.
Note: This isn’t super happy at times because you don’t all run off to become Extremists because life was going great.
-The trio’s life goes right about according to my canon for them up until they’re in the 10/11 range. They’ve not been absolutely horrible Initiates but it’s also clear they’re not happy in the Order. However, they can’t find a way to just leave the Order before failing out at 16 or quitting as a Padawan. Until then they’re stuck.
-Solus is the only one who would really have a place to leave to. Lumi going back to Ryloth is a full on nightmare for her. There’s too much Cartel, too much risk of her being even more shackled there than she feels in the Order. Jazari would only have the Guardians of the Whills to go back to on Jedha.
-So, Solus, burning with every shred of love and compassion and loyalty to her best friends in the world promises them, “If something happens, Aliit Vetra and Krownest will be open to you.”
-It takes about a year before The Promise truly comes up but it starts to weigh on their minds. Bodies gearing up for normal changes send them into spirals they cannot fully control. Between that, their powers ramping up for a giant leap forward, and feeling unchallenged in class things go sideways.
-Kamelia’s nettling comments don’t help matters with anyone. It’s become apparent to her that she’s not standing out by following the status quo. People acknowledge her but it’s not enough anymore. So, she starts to seek attention anyway she can get it, from whoever and wherever it can be offered.
-Like children with too much pressure on them, ignored complaints, and no way to healthily vent that doesn’t include “Meditating” they act out. It’s never in a truly overt means but it happens. They break rules, push boundaries, and do everything they can to cover it up just to prove they can.
-They also begin to consider running away and more than that idly plan it. Lumi researches star charts and ways to get off Coruscant without being caught. Jazari turns her slicing toward squirreling funds away for them. Solus begins to find ways to get in touch with someone from Mandalore to let her family know she may be coming back.
-Kamelia grows suspicious of them because her Visions are going haywire too. She see’s them breaking rules, breaking the law, and even breaking away from the Light in her mind. Because the Jedi are the Light. It becomes her goal to encourage them. If they’re gone (or she stops them) she could be important again.
-After several incidents of them being problems together and the decision that they are negatively affecting one another, there is some effort made isolate Solus, Lumi, and Jazari from one another. The excuse used is “They’re too attached” to one another. It is, however, true. They are deeply attached to one another.
-(No one says Anakin Skywalker is enough of a problem but it crosses minds a lot. The next generation of Jedi seems to be lead by too powerful children with Anger and Trauma and Opinions that go against the grain. It scares the dogmatic old guard.)
-This proves to be an overall terrible choice. No one has outright failed out of the Jedi Order at their age but they all put in honest efforts now. Participation in lessons plummet, they become defiant and refuse to do any work, and their Gifts become even more cursed.
-Using a slyness not witnessed since the Shadows of Old cast away their full identities, the Trio truly plans to run away.
-Everything almost goes off without a hitch...except Kamelia, using a hunch from a vision, rats them out. During their various cover pranks with the intention of getting away they get caught. Two eleven year olds and a single twelve year old are no match for Masters but they go down fighting and do a lot of property damage in the process...along with some superficial damage to some because Lumi and Solus bite hard.
-Their punishment accomplishes their end goals but not at all how they wanted them. Cast out from their Order, their lightsabers are taken, and they are sent back to their planets of origin.
-(Several arguments did go down because of this. Some said they should keep them because they are children and could be taught better. Others, who never wanted some of them to begin with, used this as fuel to finally be rid of them. In the end, the decision was too many Initiates were running rampant of the Code and they were special, but not special enough. It left a bitter taste in several mouths that maintaining control in the face of a clouded future was used to justify these actions. They were children who were hurting and now being punished for it.)
-Lumi screamed when she was told she was being sent back to Ryloth. Silver eyes went wide as she wailed in sounds climbing out of human hearing range. Lekku angrily snapped to and for when the realization sat in what would happen.
“Why don’t you just tie up in ribbon and give me to the Hutts?” she snapped. “Because someone will make me a slave. At this way, you can get some favor with them.”
-Jazari went almost mute. She knew what going back to Jedha City would mean. Either being tossed into the orphanage or returning to the Guardians. She would have to admit that she failed to become a Jedi. There was too much wrong with her and it was what she was supposed to want. Or, at least that’s what she been told she should want.
“I have to admit failure,” she whispered to herself, hazel eyes shining with tears. “I failed because I wanted more than you think I deserve.”
-Solus froze over with anger as they debated her future-again-without her input. The original idea was to send her to Kalevala with her blood family or maybe Concord Dawn with Harti Wren, since he cared for her in the past. They settled on sending her to Krownest with the few remaining Vetra. She could ignore what was to happen to her but they hurt her friends. She promised to protect them but yet again the Jetii decided to rip everything she loved apart.
“Munit tome’tayl,” she spat at them, almost tranquil in stance, “skotah iisa. Bu'linara kak abarya.”
(Long memory, short fuse. Consider yourself warned.)
-Kamelia feels a full victory starting out but it turns quickly turns hollow. Her powers as a seer are proven to be something of note. The trade off becae the others her age no longer trusting her. She’s became an envious rat in their eyes and could forge ahead alone.
-Lumi arrives on Ryloth to no fanfare but a few sneers and taunts. Her family immediately went back to ignoring her existence as they had when she was a small child. No one wanted to try a Jedi, even a barely trained one, but it was only a matter of time.
-Jazari takes an immediate apprenticeship with a mechanic friend of her father’s. Two of the Guardians arranged it for her. She will forever be thankful for them for trying to help her. Even if seeing the Kyber Temple hurts. All around her the crystals sing as her waist sits empty.
-Solus is greeted by Harti, who she gets along with for three days before snapping at him when suggests leaving Krownest for safety.
“I left before!” she screamed, “I left because you let them take me. Because Jai’ba’buir gave me to them and then died. Because everyone keeps taking and taking from me. I am staying right here. You had years to come for me but you didn’t. So, just leave me alone!”
Harti leaves brokenhearted and Solus returns to her friendship with Ursa again. It’s not Ursa’s job to help her but they do have a history and Aliit Vetra is ready to step forward. She’s ready to become who she was meant to be. And even Ursa realizes Solus is still hurting.
- In the span of three months, they bust their asses to get in touch with one another and it works to a degree. Lumi keeps communications hidden but she’s always on edge now. She continues to weigh just running away versus her (rightful) paranoia of being sold before she sets out. Jazari is an exhausted, unchallenged mechanic’s novice. Solus is almost despondent at what the New Mandalorians have done to her home.
-They work out a plan and it does go down without a hitch in the beginning. Solus busts her ass to learn to pilot a ship and does so. She takes a small ship, something leftover from The Great Clan Wars, and heads out hellbent on getting her friends. First comes, Jazari on Jedha. Jazari leaves a note to the kind Guardians after admitting to Baze her plans. He wishes her luck and Chirrut wishes the Force to be with her. That part went easy.
-The snag comes with picking up Lumi. She got to the designated city without a problem and so did they. However, some unsavory sorts also saw them and saw credit signs. A Sephi something in beskar’gam, the Kirrin Twi’lek mix that people kept hearing about on the market, and a maybe Mirialan mix who looked like she knew work.
-It went from an attempted kidnapping into a full on Mess. Turns out, instinctive uses of the Force sometimes cross lines. Such as, “I will throw you into this wall with the full intent of you not getting back up” and the skirmish turned into both groups getting roughed up. Lumi’s got a right hook no one is ever ready for, Solus does in fact have a grenade and a blaster with her, and Jazari takes her own blaster to use. They’ve made enemies.
-Making it back to Solus’ ship and taking it off was surprisingly less of a challenge. They’re all good at Force Stealth and everyone had their adrenaline high to keep moving. Even on the ship, they’re almost in good spirits again because they’re back together again.
-”You’re Aliit now,” Solus tells them once she’s got them all safely into hyperspace. “You’re both Clan Vetra. I’m the Countess and the Chieftain and I’ll adopt you in. We’ll never being separated again,” she promises with full wisdom.
“What’s going to happen?” Jazari asks while rubbing bacta on Lumi’s tchun.
“You can train alongside me and be Mandalorians too, or at least learn how to fight. We’ll all have a safe place to live and be able to control our own destinies. When I make choices I’ll ask you about them too because we all get to pick now.”
“I want to learn to fly,” Lumi says, eyeing the yoke and smiling. “I want to soar.”
-They’re really happy together and training does pay off for them. Solus is testy about the state of Mandalore and the others seeing her points. They agree to help her help her homeworld.
-However, a question comes down to twelve year old Solus Vetra. She’s asked to join Kyr’tsad, to pledge her clan’s allegiance to them, and she debates. She asks the others because it’s pledging them too. They end up agreeing for the training they won’t get messing around on Krownest alone, for the chance to do something greater, and just for the chance to stretch their legs.
(No one talks about the fact it would have been all out war if they had not. It’s basically a forced decision but one someone at least asked them about it. No one told them what they were doing.)
-From there, chaos builds. Jazari’s unstoppable when teamed up with Dax. He does remote hacking while she is capable of sneaking into anywhere and setting up there. Solus is a spy like no other, working her magic to tear this Republic backed banthashit apart while studying on the side with Ruus, she will heal too. Lumi takes to fighting and flying with the same fierceness. No one can match her.
-Traveling some, they find new kyber crystals and forge new lightsabers. It’s a show of strength and usefulness and they finally feel like themselves again. They search for holocrons to hone their few skills further as well as pick up new tricks. Turns out, not caring makes Mind Tricks easier.
-Even if joining Kyr’tsad was almost forced they quickly love it. When they agree, they’re in...they’re in. There’s nothing more happening. They fall in with the others and get the chance to learn. No one chastises them for being too aggressive, too forceful, too attached, too much of anything. They’re doing something for a goal they can believe because Solus’ quiet observation of, “You must pull an arrow back to shoot it forward.” rings true and they’re tired, so tired of the Order and the Republic looming over them.
-The become the Morrigan in a sense. No one holds them back as the ride the highs and thrills of battles. Accomplishing their own goals as well as the organizations. Because that anger at the Order, at their pasts, at their traumas they were told to ignore never dies. Here they find healing in a sense and the ability to Act.

Crack, new mando au
one word, three sentences
Kamelia recoiled from the slap with wide, watering eyes. The cracking sound of skin on skin echoed around her mind. Towering over her, the other woman crossed her arms over her chest while snapping, “Don’t run your fucking mouth when you have no idea what you’re saying.”

★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★ whoops my hand slipped
For every “★” I get, I will post a fact about my characters.
(These will all be for my Modern AU because I like themes.)
-Ruus Eldar keeps bees as one of his ways to destress. There’s something so nice about helping the environment and collecting loads of local honey to give away/sell. They’re not even as angry as his boss most days.
-Dax Breil feels like they’re the only common sense among their friend group. Namely, because they don’t want to be one of the people who can play six degrees of seperation with who has slept banged the Manda’lor.
-Lumi Kisana has never been arrested for her dubiously legal (or unquestionably illegal activities) despite the bar fights, considered cage fighting, and street racing. She has however been arrested for busting the window out of someone’s car. Street Harassers beware.
-Jazari Naaji is learning to instruct Yoga for Trauma Survivors. It’s different from regular yoga but so fulfilling to help people heal.
-Both Lumi and Jazari have finished doctoral programs as well. Lumi’s is in Mechanical Engineering with focuses in Aerospace and Automotive Engineering. Her (long time estranged) family would like if she would put her fancy degrees to use instead of running a gym and being being a hooligan; her adopted big sister just wants her happy above all else. Jazari chose to focus on Computer Engineering with a strong backing in Mechanical Engineering. Her fathers/guardians/whatever legalese was on the paperwork are just happy she’s happy.
-Jazari went wholesale into the Anonymous group’s ideas and has done a lot of greyhat hacking for the betterment of everyone around her.
-Ursa Wren is the one who offered to teach 15 year old Solus how to use a sniper rifle one weekend and it was love at first shot. She had no idea she was creating a future Nite Owl but would expect nothing less.
-Kamelia Malo, despite all of her failings as a person, believes in vaccinating her children and feeding her carnivorous animals meat. In the Hell Neighborhood Solus lives in/is based out of that’s victory she’s willing to take.
-Harti Wren was a stunt pilot for a period of time in his younger years and absolutely adored it. He’s also done some weapons tech design among the Mandalorian offshoot companies.
-Jai Vetra worked as an investigative journalist/actual spy for Mandalore for a period of time. His information networks run deep.
-Anthony Martin and Gabe Princeton were Bo-Katan’s neighbors when she rented a duplex. They met through a fascinating night where Gabe was absolutely certain Bo was murdering someone. She was, just not in the serial killer way. Solus became one of their friends from this.
- Berni and Ty Wren are distant cousins to one another and Ursa but grew up together. They’re both part of Kyr’tsad and were friends of Solus growing up.
-Berni has a deep fascination with things going boom meaning some of their best weapons tech, specifically explosives, come from from her tinkering. She’s also translated those chemistry skills to being a helluva bartender.
-Ty works with Dax but more with the building of gadgets than the full on hacking bits. Circuits sing for him as goes about making order from chaos. He can also mix the best Long Island.
-Berni, Ty, Dax, and Ruus form their own distinctive subset of Solus’ friends as do Jazari, Lumi, Anthony, and Gabe but they are capable of mixing really well. Not at all like the group of assholes Solus deals with in her Hell Neighborhood.
-Solus intentionally antagonizes certain members of the Neighborhood Watch because it makes her giggle.
-Despite Kamelia’s love of being “thrifty” and constant upcycling projects her family is loaded and she’s very much living more on Papa’s money and less on her blog/youtube revenue and slow attempts to finish her master’s in Psychology.
-Sen has the distinctive ability to cockblock Solus and she has argued with him over it. “Your bladder’s only full when I’ve got a hand up my shirt, Asshole.” has been quoted at him.

Setting: Some high end party that Kamelia got an invite to through her grandaparents. Probably art related because they want to show their granddaughter off. Solus is there with Pre, Bo-Katan, and a few other Mandos. Since part of this showing is Mando artists.
- Kamelia: *feeling emboldened by supposedly being in her element* I’m surprised to see you here. I thought art shows like this were beneath your sort.
Solus: *neutral face* One section is a Mandalorian exhibit. Several of us got invited.
Kamelia: Of course, giving a history lesson? I suppose we’re short a few battle axes for you crafters though.
Solus: Our smiths have exhibits going up in Minnesota in the coming weeks. Mandalorian craftsmanship is one of a kind. Very bold designs.
Kamelia: *smirking* Speaking of bold, you dress is very eyecatching. It must be nice to be flat enough to fit in it.
Solus: *looking down at her phone* I like your nature theme tonight. Five year old you must be very thrilled to look like a Disney princess. I did see some leaves by the entrance were they your dress.
Kamelia: *getting pissed* I like my dress. It doesn’t look cheap.
Solus: *takes a sip of her martini* No, they just have to look at your faux Louie’s to see fake.
Kamelia: I’m being economically, you two timing hussy.
Solus: *smirking as someone heads over* Thanks for the compliment. Sorry, your aging like milk and can’t even attract a fly anymore.
Kamelia: *Red as her fake hair and stammering*
Random Mando: Countess Vetra! What a surprise to see you here tonight? *turns to Kamelia* I see you’ve met the Countess already? No reason to starstruck now.
Solus: *Looking gleeful* Cat got your tongue, Kamelia? You were so brave earlier.
Random: My Lady, I was hoping we could have a word? I found a piece and would love your opinion on the history of it.
Kamelia: *visibly pale* C-countess?
Solus: *giving a cat who got the cream look* I don’t brag about my status but I am a countess in Mandalore.
Random: *teasing* Oh, I assumed she as a fan.

Slim, new mando au
one word, three sentences
“I couldn’t imagine being so slim, Vivi,” Kamelia commented over the top of her second glass of wine; an indulgent rosé poured with a heavy hand. “Yeah, getting to wear anything would be fun at first. But, what about actually filling it out with something interesting up top?”

What would be the ultimate happy endings for your OCs?
Gonna start with this can get really long depending on who I use and which verse. So, in my desperate attempts to keep everything short (it’s probably going to fail) I’m sticking to my Main Verse and about ten of my characters. Rest assured all of them want better lives for the Clones and deeply dislike the Empire. However, how their individual character arcs would have played out changes the prominence of certain things in her mind.
First off, Lumi wants the Jedi Order to still be a thing and for Order 66 to have never happened. Her and Mace would’ve parted on much better terms than the strife of their last few months followed by his death. She so desperately wants closure with him after everything that happened. In the end she’s still the little youngling he helped learn to control such an overwhelming gift. As much strife as the Clone Wars brought, she would not begrudge the Clones their chances to live and thrive. Because they came into the Galaxy as unique lives and deserve ever chance to live and experience life to its fullest. However, when the War was over (with a much better ending) she would still elect to leave. Her calling is somewhere else, with something better. She’d still end up with Fenn because there’s some things the Galaxy wants to happen. Same as she would still train Hera because that’s her little sister now. She’d probably live out her days in the Mandalore Sector with her friends and family, helping teach Force Sensitives (Solus absolutely refused to let the Jedi Order touch) and flying and maintain starfighters.
Solus wants a united Mandalore with a more peaceful transfer of power back to the people who are unashamed of their heritage. No part of her wants to be Manda’lor but she does want to serve next to them (and she knows exactly why she can’t be), as an adviser and sometimes spy. She wants to live on Krownest in her ancestral home, wear her armor, and help her people flourish and thrive again. She’d end up adopting any Clone (or anyone really) who wished become Mandalorian and needed a home. Krownest is difficult planet but her people are tougher. Solus also desperately wants to get married and raise warriors with her spouses. Once she really got to know Ahsoka she knew they were always meant to be. Them and their third form a merry little Triad where everyone feels safe and loved. Her leaving of the Order would’ve been mutually agreed upon thing, and while she does believe Mandalorians have no place among the current Jedi, she does keep contact with her Master Kit. It is also a no-brainer that she wants Lumi and Jazari by her side because they’re a set.
Following her best friends’ lead I believe Jazari would end leaving the Order as well. There’s a lot of reform that needs to happen there and she is not volunteering for the monumental task alone. There would be a lot of free travel between Mandalore (I see her thriving in Keldabe among the ancient and modern, bustling, shifting, thriving city) and her home city of Jedha. She finally opens her happy little sex shop, making her own wares for sell and offering information sessions and donating to charities. She works to limit the various slave rings plaguing the planets bet it funneling money into groups that help or taking more direct action, aided by her teammates, in directly stopping problems.
Two parts domestic fantasy and one part power fantasy Kamelia wants it all. She makes it to the rank of Master within the Order, at an impressive age, and then retires to return to either rural Corellia or a nice mid-rim planet. She opens a clinic but still has time to be wonderful homemaker. Definitely gets married to a man (imagine women’s magazine cover Hugh Jackman meets like a beloved firefighter/EMT who climbs trees to rescue Tooka and thinks she’s the absolutely hottest, most wholesome thing to ever walk) and has two children, spaced really far apart so she doesn’t have to worry about playing favorites, and gets to be the unholy product of Florence Nightingale and Martha Stewart. There’s not task too big or small for her and everyone has wonderful things to say about her. Finally, she gets to claim some kind of victory of Lumi, Solus, and Jazari who were nothing but wash outs in the end. They failed at being Jedi but she got to rise, then surpass, every dream she had.
Erkan stays within the Jedi Order and lives. That’s a very important thing. He also does the shocking thing of helping to reform the Order to the best of his abilities. Throughout the lead up to the war and the after effects he was able to see both the best and worst of the Temple. Despite, lacking the political savvy starting out (which he wants to pick up) he works to return them to their roots of helping people without the Senate holding their strings. He wants to open more Temples across the Galaxy and move them further out again. No longer would the Jedi spend the bulk of their time in the Temples when not on missions but they would be out and about and fully learning about the Galaxy. He wants their range to expand further than Republic allied worlds because the Force is for everyone. He doesn’t like the exclusivity that they have now, this kind of uppity feeling that the Force is only for those lucky enough to be born free. He also wants to see the rules for attachment reevaluated because relationships are the corner stone of civilizations. There’s not reason to forbid them in a sense because some people can’t separate love and compassion from possession. Those people would have that problem anyway and they might even be able to work through it if they felt comfortable in coming forward.  He becomes the regular Qui-Gon Jinn sauntering around the Galaxy and helping he considered he could’ve became moments before dying.
Jai and Harti share a joint dream because their dream is to be together. Their family is reunited, like the people, and they finally get to settle down. For decades they have fought and now it is time to grow old together in a happily married bliss. They’ve got their beloved Solus back, along with the little gaggle of rebels Harti picked up and Solus’ constant companions. Jai not only lived but so did Jango. He’s protecting Jango for Jaster and watching Boba grow next to Solus. Harti complains they’re all trying to eat him out of house and home when his living room plays host to a verifiable horde of hunters. But, he absolutely loves it. Everything feels like a community and a family again. People are happy, Ursa doesn’t look so tense and alone, and frankly watching Solus play with Tristan and Sabine gives him hopes for great-grandchildren. Jai adopts a literal horde of Clones too. They’re his boys because he trained them and Krownest gets a population spike.
Commander Mav, rarely mentioned but important, would live in his best ending. His brothers are free and he finally gets to choose what he does with his life. That being said, he would 100% still end on Krownest with Solus after some soul searching on his own. He still trains because he likes being able to protect people but that’s not his main focus anymore. The Republic wanted him to be a soldier but that’s not who he is. Now he has so much freedom. He studies various things and picks up a knack for writing novels and art appreciating and cooking. He gets to be Solus’ friend and equal in the eyes of everyone, beyond just her and their group. I could see him taking up helping raise a bunch of the small clones and strongly advocating giving them the serum to slow their aging so they get to have proper childhoods.
Bounty hunting, like the Original, ends up calling to Alpha ARC Tranyc when the war is over. He didn’t much like serving the Republic as a soldier but he does like using his training. Bounty Hunting seems like a nice compromise in still getting to use his skills but living on his own terms. He doesn’t settle into Mandalore but does the occasional breeze by to annoy the fuck out of Mav and try and rope Solus into shenanigans. He succeeds a lot. She makes a great get away/pick up pilot or extra gun. But, he does comm Mav a lot because he likes the overly polite bastard despite his assertion that he’s an asshole loner. They probably talk nearly every day. Even in his happiest world he doesn’t admit feels more for Mav and Solus than her really should. They weren’t supposed to get hot but here they are.
Iviin has the same dream of a united Mandalore as the rest of the Mandalorians. He doesn’t want to see Death Watch, Shadow Collective, or anyone else ruling. Jaster’s line needs to continue. He never had to become Manda’lor because they still had Jango. There was no need for him to take on that role in his life and it means he gets to serve under a Fett Manda’lor. He happily works from Concord Dawn, and Keldabe or Krownest on occasion, and has Solus as his partner. She’s the pilot of the duo and his sniper when need be. He’s also happy to have Solus’ little Force Sensitive crew running around with them. Call him crazy but he thinks Jazari and Lumi are fun.

Beauty From Four Persepctives
Summary: A brief rambling covering my Trash Fire Trio, and former friend Kamelia’s, views of beauty. Each character was written in my mind as being attractive but they each have different views of the word and concept. This was really fun to explore because it relates to them.
Characters: Lumi Kirrin, Solus Vetra, Jazari Naaji, Kamelia Malo
Rating: General
Notes: None really. Just enjoy!
Out of everyone Lumi loathes the word “beautiful” and the concept of beauty the most. As a child, it was annoying to hear but now it is almost a slur. Beautiful is a gilded cage in her mind. For millenniums it was used to enslave her people. Twi’lek became synonymous with chained slaves, bejeweled dancers, and seductive grifters all because of perceived physical beauty. Beauty is erasure in her mind. It is being striped from a multi-faceted being to pure genetic chance. Accepting the word means accepting a loss of self. No long is she a talented Jedi or smart strategist or gifted; instead she is just beautiful. Every accomplishment, every taken chance, even every flaw falls wayside to fragile flesh. Calling her beautiful on first meeting, or ever really, is the quickest way to never gain her truest respect.
Solus dove into the word “beautiful” and concept of beauty to weaponize them. Too many people are easily disarmed by well-timed compliments to their vanity. It flusters some to hear “beautiful” volleyed at them from a being they think embodies beautiful. So, she drops the word from her lips like an active grenade. Smothers them in everything they want to hear while she makes off like a thief. "Beautiful" is letting people map their expectations into her skin. Waif-like, petite, angelic, and a thousand other loaded, dismissive words. All the while she knows she subverts their ideas. True beauty is taking some abstract concept to wage a silent war and winning. Beauty is knowing her value will always lie in more than looks. So, she lets others call her as they will because she learned the truth early on: beauty is never in only flesh.
Jazari misuses the word beautiful by the standards of the general populace. Concepts are beautiful. Kindness and understanding are beautiful. Intelligence is beautiful. Machines are beautiful. But, people are only people. Some are arranged in more appealing figures than others; even then, only at first glance. What someone carries inside their souls matters more than the crude matter encasing it. Beauty is a concept that can only start from within. From there it unfurls outward for others to see. The truly beautiful uplift others as the blossom and grow skyward. For this, she is one of the privileged people allowed to call Lumi beautiful without repercussion. Because to be termed a beautiful person from her perspective is a true compliment.
Kamelia holds a contemptuous double standard for beauty. Outwardly, she proclaims all things are beautiful, particularly those that are good. Beautiful is her favorite compliment to give and receive. Once she went as far as to proclaim normalizing the word will make beauty standards meaningless. Inwardly, appearance is the first thing she attacks when crossed. Beautiful becomes the word she rips away from others as if it is pedestal. She hates that she chases the fleeting standards of conventional beauty as she does it. Her innermost longing is to be granted the title of beautiful like those around her. No matter how ugly they are inside people favor pretty shells above all else.  After all, intelligence may not have a shelf life but beauty opens infinitely more doors. Beautiful is a hollow word from her in danger of crumbling.

Kamelia is hot, idk. In that annoying white girl at the party who swallows because shes eager to please. You sell her a gram of oregano for 40 dollars, but otherwise you ignore her horoscope posts on twitter.
I just…what? Idk. Maybes it because I’m wired strangely but it’s like I can’t just ignore her personality? Someone can be the hottest person in the world but if they’ve got a shit personality then they’re not hot. They’re just an annoying asshole who keeps showing up in my face.

Repairing Friendships
Summary: A character study with Kamelia staring at the unreliable narrator. IT’s set about six months before the Clone Wars start. Every word she speaks drips paranoia.
Characters: Kamelia Malo, Solus Vetra, Lumi Kirrin, Jazari Naaji
Rating: T maybe?
Warnings: I can't stress the unreliable nature of Kamelia enough.
Kamelia came to the small gathering later than expected. It took her by surprise she decided to show up at all. Things had grown distant between the four of them as the years passed. While they had become early Padawans she remained among the Initiates far longer. Until well past fifteen in fact. Between their different schedules, and superior talents she admitted ruefully, they should have stayed separated. Yet, now they offered her a simple in with their group again.
Just sitting among them now was like being in one of those teen holodramas. The sort she loved but would never admit to watching. To her, those three could have easily fit in among the main casts. Powerful, elite girls who started with the Galaxy served up to them on a silver platter. Yet, they still played dangerous games to pass the time. Noting the smuggled bottle of wine passing between them she knew they cared nothing for rules. It really was like being invited to a new, unwelcoming world. Yet, she felt compelled to see how their lives had turned out.
She wondered if their picture perfect group had in-fighting like the dramas. Their Trio did consist of three Black Beads, with two hailing from Katarn Clan. Avoidance, manipulation, secrecy, and violence was rumored to the lifeblood for those sort. Sure, people admired their rare (and coveted) training but said training came at a cost. Everyone knew their moral compasses never pointed due north. Kamelia imagined it made it hard for them to keep friends at all. No matter the relationship the urge to screw one another over or spy would always be there. An unhealthy paranoia bred from dancing in the shadows of the Dark Side but supposedly resisting.
Paranoia crept abruptly up Kamelia’s spine from those thoughts. Was their attempt to renew their friendship with her just a game? When Jazari, the ring leader, invited her to this she sounded genuine. Even going so far as to say they all missed her. But, that could so easily be a lie. Lumi was too much of a stone cold bitch to miss anyone. Solus was an overly anxious mess that barely fit the Order. Jazari used to be the Nice One yet that could have changed. Maybe when she left they would all laugh behind her back. They were special, everyone knew they were special, but she was not. Compared to people who remembered lives outside the Temple, with impressively high midichlorians, and secret training she was painfully boring. It was hard to believe they were ever friends before.
Sipping from her juice, Kamelia used the sweet taste to focus. Her mind was too occupied with the future again as her master would say. In the here and now, they wanted to be friends again and she would accept. While unprompted, it was a kind offer to make for people not known for such actions. Unlike them, she refused to grow paranoid, exclusive, and apathetic. With their skewed morals they could understandably be those things. If anything this could be the Force wanting her to help them back to the right path. It was her job to help heal the broken as a medic and they were broken.
Sometimes, she wondered if they realized how they sounded to outsiders. The recent Padawan hung out with them for less than a night but was already witnessing their brokenness. Lumi recounted the story of some guy handing her a love note earlier. Something handwritten on flimsi then meticulously sealed with a plum ribbon. He even called her beautiful to her face while stuttering. She imitated his minor confession while scoffing as if the word was an insult. To rub salt in the wound, Lumi even brought the letter to share with them. To her ears, the young man’s words were both pretty and heartfelt. He had a crush he was trying to navigate through without breaking the rules. Yet, Solus laughed along at the prose while Jazari rolled her eyes. Both of them agreed it was insulting.
If honest with herself, Kamelia was envious at the exotic beauty they so often ignored. Compared to them she was merely human. A plain, some days awkwardly shaped human with normal, boring coloring. A slight tan with a few freckles, brown hair, and dark green eyes was nothing next to their brightness. Nor was short, sort of slim, but very stacked impressive next to literal goddesses (even if their chests were all smaller). At best, her beauty came from her personality and soft muscle tone. It keep people from calling her intimidating so she had to love it. Healers should never scare their patients.
Across from her, Lumi sprawled over three mediation cushions head on her back. Her head was pillowed on Jazari’s lap with lekku fanned out and ends curled. She looked every bit an escaped muse from a classical painting or a fountain statue come to life. Already Lumi was classed as hot, as Twi’lek were known to be, but even by their standards she was devastatingly sexy. Not even her more common base color was a slight because her patterns made her look like a nebula. It was frustrating to watch her layer that beneath robes, sweat, and engine grease. With no effort Lumi could have the world eating from the palm of her hand. Yet, she chose to be Jedi. Why would she spend so much time dreaming of the stars when she was capable of owning them with looks alone?
Solus sat above Lumi on a meditation block while scribbling away in her sketch book. What Lumi had in pure sex appeal Solus had as a more innocent sexy. Nothing about her screamed intimidating; a waifish figure with long, white curls and full, fuchsia lips. Even her predatory fangs could be passed off as cute with the right smile. Coy Imp was what the tiny girl called the act she proudly weaponized. In passing, she had even admitted to being a landed countess on Mandalore. Yet, she stayed in the Order as a future, failed Jedi. To Kamelia is was so unfair to see their resources wasted.
One hand was scrolling through her datapad but the other rubbed the base of Lumi’s lekku. In her opinion, Jazari lacked much of the sex appeal attributed to her. Far too tall with ugly hair jumped to Kamelia’s first when she thought of her former friend. She wore the strange nerf tail, Padawan cut of Master Kenobi and Padawan Skywalker’s fame. Combined with her calloused hands and defined muscles she should have looked manly. Yet, people loved it. Clad in mostly black robes she slipped between expectations. They loved the self assured way Jazari carried herself and the kind, intelligent words she spoke. A few also mentioned the brilliance she possessed as a slicer. Any company or runway (Kamelia inwardly balked at her being compared to a model) would be lucky to have her.  Perhaps, she should be thankful after all that Jazari put so little effort into her looks. Otherwise, she would be another unmatchable class of beauty.
-
“Something wrong?” Solus asked sounding almost concerned from her perch. “You keep looking at us funny.”
Kamelia felt her face blister red at being caught with her mind drifting. “I’m just amazed is all,” she stuttered out. “It’s been forever since we’ve hung out and everyones’ changed so much.”
“Huh.” Solus lifted the bottle of wine to her lips for a long sip. “Guess it has been a few years. We weren’t old enough to drink last time.”
“We’re still not old enough to drink nor allowed.” Left off was her personal opinions on them so brazenly breaking the rules. While Masters Zey and Drayson were impressive they were nothing next to Master Windu. Yet, all of their Padawans felt comfortable chancing their reputations for a vice.
“Depending on the rules you go by we are,” Solus laughed before passing the bottle to Lumi. “By my peoples’ standards I’m an adult. Master Leska even did a Coming of Age Ceremony with me to cement it.” Her sketch pad dipped down to show several nude figure studies. “And Padawans drinking is frowned upon but not forbidden.”
Jazari laughed with teeth shining against nearly forest green lips. “Sol’ika has a point. We’re not really told not too.”
Cold silver eyes bore into her own while Lumi took several silent sips. An unspoken dare to challenge anyone further on the matter. “Want some? It’s the best batch yet,” she purred in her Ryl toned words.
“No, thank you. I’ve got a shift with the Master Che in the morning and I can’t risk it.”
