Ok so what's the general plot for the naruto/ atla crossover? It sounds amazing btw!

here's some of the basics:

naruto is the avatar — minato was the avatar before him, and hashirama before him

dual bending is a thing in this au!!!! but it's mostly rare in all of the nations except whirlpool, where in the uzumaki clan, dual benders were a common occurrence (it's the main reason why they were wiped out, too)

Danzo, the garbage man, is essentially the main villain — he's essentially Ozai, and he had naruto's parents murdered in order to end the avatar cycle and the dualbender bloodline, and he wants to undo everything hashirama did and segregate the nations and then conquer them

That means that madara was technically sozin if you think about it

Also all of the countries are integrated in the same way as republic city in LOK azls a result of hashirama bringing about peace after the great war

also Danzo orchestrated the uchiha massacre — they were a pure blood firebender clan that wanted to end all the injustices and prejudice against their clan, and hiruzen, who was head honcho at the time, was willing to go along with the peace talks until he was assassinated (guess who) and then it was pinned on the uchiha, who were then wiped out by danzos faction

Danzo tries to assume power but tsunade takes up the mantle, and now he's gotta figure out how to uphend her from the throne as well

I'm not too sure about the power structures/positions in this au yet dont @ me

anyway jiraiya is a good guardian in this au and he raises naruto and the ame orphans along with tsunade and orochimaru, who is not a creep

The ame trio are like naruto's older siblings bc I said so and my boy deserves it

on that note, orochimaru ends up becoming the guardian to team taka (Karin & Naruto bonding ftw bitches)

also???? Shisui, itachi and sasuke are the only known survivors of the uchiha, and they run away and essentially join the underground fighting rings until orochimaru stumbles across them and brings them back with them

oh btw the akatsuki is kind of like the white lotus???? yeah

they're like helpers of the avatar???? sort of????

Nagato, Konan and Yahiko join after naruto is revealed to be the avatar

Itachi goes too bc he's a pacifist and doesn't want anyone else to go through what he and his brother and cousin did

Shisui goes with him

oh yeah and kurama is naruto's fox

He was originally kushina's but she died so he automatically became naruto's

Btw I hc that the foxes are the uzumaki guardians/summons so this fits perfectly

Kurama is to naruto as what appa was to aang, basically

but yeah naruto finds out hes the avatar around age 12

Meets both his mom and dad in the spirit world

SAI IS THE ZUKO CHARACTER Y'ALL

he works under danzo and is ordered to infiltrate the avatar's circle so danzo can plot naruto's demise but sai is just like "yeah no" and tells them
