Charles would secretly smile every time someone picks a horror movie because he knows he is going to end up with either a lap full of Max or have Max curled into his side and burying his face against his neck.

Even better if they aren't dating yet but Max still clings to Charles during the movie. He normally hides his crush (or at least he thinks he is hiding it) but when he is scared he just throws himself at Charles.

When it's Max's turn to pick a movie he decides on a romance film and is surprised when Charles leans in and starts cuddling up to him.

Just seen your response to the anon ask about the Lestappen au strictly come dancing and wanted to let the anon know I screamed when I saw their ask because this idea has also crossed my mind! So many possibilities.

Maybe the celebrity contestant is awkward at first about the close physical contact that comes with dancing (maybe because they have a crush on their dance partner and being pressed up against them is too much!)

Maybe the non-professional is confused about whether the connection they feel is just because their partner is a good actor and competitive and wants to win.

I’m imagining late nights in the dance studio practicing a slow sensual rumba with the professional dancer sliding his hands on to the celebrity’s hips to guide their movement and encouraging them to keep eye contact (and the celebrity blushing all the way through). Or maybe Max being all powerful and domineering in a Pasodoble style and guiding Charles around the dance floor.

Sorry for coming into your asks but I didn’t know who anon was but wanted to encourage them to write it (if they want to of course) and to just have fun with it. I would definitely read it and honestly you have to start somewhere with writing and I have found the f1 fanfic community supportive when I have had a go at writing ❤️

i've talked about it before in my a/n but Firsts by @laura1633 is THE reason I even thought about writing Arthur n Max. Like I'd read some threesome fics but this is the one that made me go O-O there is potential here. so yes. also all fics by Laura are honestly A1. They are the Lestappen messiah

how do you think who’s from grid have the best and the worst survival skill im some random apocalypse? and do you think someone would be dragging charles from dangerous places every time? because i have a feeling that he would be interested in everything😭

I know they are all physically fit and competitive humans but in an actual survival situation, on the whole, I think they would be awful 😂

I guess it would depend on what type of apocalypse it is.

I feel like Oscar is quite cool and calm so he would do well because he wouldn't panic. Perhaps Valtteri too. Also, random one but Checo might be good and I say this because when I watch some of the Red Bull challenges he often thinks outside the box and that would be quite good in a survival situation. I am sure there are lots of drivers who take part in outdoorsy activities (Lewis? Daniel?), although how well that would translate to survival I am not sure 😬

Charles also gives me that same vibe as you have mentioned. I don't know if its a common view but quite often Charles appears to me to have hyperactive energy like an excitable puppy so I could see him needing to be saved more than once. I could also see Oscar needing to save Lando from hurting himself in some ridiculous way (eating something poisonous or something)

Max is adorable but I don't know how well he would survive. I think he is intelligent so if they needed brain power he might be fine but we saw how uncomfortable he was with sand in his shoes so I can only begin to imagine how uncomfortable he would be if he had to trek through a wasteland! Someone would probably have to carry him.

Okay a/b/o setting where first we had George giving Toto PowerPoint presentations to join Mercedes and now we have Toto “accidentally” being at the same exact show as Max (and possible trying to convince him to join Mercedes for 2026) Maybe praying that Fred tries to join in the fight for max once Lewis retires or changes teams because he knows alpha Charles will just try to do everything and puff up his chest to show he’s worthy to omega Max’s mate

Haha yes, I feel like Fred would sit Omega Max down for a presentation about why he should join Ferrari. Max is getting ready for the hard sell and all facts and figures about development but instead Fred just brings Alpha Charles out and offers him up to omega Max!

Max is stunned in to silence, especially when he finds out that it was all Charles' idea.

Max would need rescuing and I am sure he would do much better once they have set up camp somewhere... that is until he asks about the wifi speed and someone has to gently break it to him that there is no internet and no he can't go on his racing sim 😂

When sleeping in bed, Oscar and Charles would normally sleep on either sides of Max, Charles with his face in the crook of Max's neck while Oscar leans against his chest.

Since Oscar is getting more muscles by the day (Oscarm omfg..) he could definitely manhandle max if he wanted to, but doesn't normally because he's softer in sex, when he's in his rut or max is in heat he tries to be soft, yet his alpha instincts take over most of the time

Charles on the other hand will manhandle max any day of the week, but always makes sure he's comfortable.

If Charles and Oscar are in their rut, and Max is not home because he's maybe at the factory or doing media stuff? Alpha x Alpha my roman empire

You and me both anon, I am also a little obsessed a lestappen + Oscar a/b/o. Love all these takes.

Omega Max would be super snuggly so it's nice that he has two alphas pressed against him to keep him cosy. Sexually he would love that Oscar and Charles are both different in bed, he gets the best of both worlds.

I'm thinking that when they are out and about Max has two alphas to pull out his chair and hold his hand and just generally give him the princess treatment. When he was younger Max thought no alpha would want him but now he has two wonderful alphas who both dote on him and reassure him. There is a lot of praise that goes on!

Oscar and Charles do generally give most of their attention to Max just because that is how their alpha instincts guide them. To start with a lot of their physical interactions are geared towards turning Max on because the omega loves to see his alphas together but then they realise they are both super into it so become perfectly happy to help each other with ruts or just generally be sexual with each other. Max is really content because he wants his alphas to be close with each other.

If f1 was a play/animated show that you were in charge of writing, what is the off track plot??

Oooh this is interesting because there is already a lot of real life "off track" action.

I guess there are two ways to answer, one would be to say what action I would like to see off track but the other would be to view F1 as a drama show I am writing. I will go with the second option because the only off track plot I would want irl is my faves to be living their best lives stress free.

If I were writing it as a tv show then the off track drama would have to be lots of sex and sabotage amongst teams 😂

I won't single out specific drivers but off track plots would include:

A wholesome rivals to lovers will they won't they narrative that runs all the way through the show. Definitely some angst thrown in there as they date and sleep with other people and lots of miscommunication and pining.

Lots of love triangles and affairs between various drivers.

Two drivers who can't stand each other hooking up for sex.

Rumours about one driver getting their race seat because they slept with someone high up in the organisation.

A heartbreaking story where one driver believes another driver loves them but they are only using them to try and find out information about their team.

Or I would just go crazy and write an Mpreg story where Max gets pregnant after his championship winners party and the whole series is just slowly unravelling who the father is. We would keep flashing back to that night and Max's interactions with various potential fathers (which would various members of the grid)

pregnant max now being wag and supporting charles in red bull or ferrari garages is so cute image! charles would convince him to wear some non red bull clothes and max ends wearing some charles’ fashionable outfits. his little baby bump still not showing under alpha’s oversize shirt.

one of the cutest thing that fans find in all this is that max babysitting little leo while charles is driving or doing other stuff. lots of cutest photos where made! one of them ended on charles lockscreen🥺

when baby was born they posted an image where baby is sleeping in max’s hands, jimmy and sassy sitting on omega’s shoulders, leo sitting on his knees and they all looking and sniffing baby, charles doing photo while one hand holding max’s hand🥺

Max in an oversized hooded top that belongs to Charles and cuddled up with little Leo would be so cute, I can definitely see Charles saving one of those pictures to his phone!

And then all of them cuddled up on the sofa 🥺 Jimmy, Sassy and Leo would all be super curious about the new little (but rather noisy) addition to their family. As the baby grows up they would be super protective though.

Honestly the first thing he probably does is go into a huge panic.... except he's not panicked because Max is checking out his ass, he's worried the camera might have also picked up how his own gaze kept fixating on Max's thighs and chest. Luckily he seems to have gotten away with it this time

I have a crazy Lestappen au idea. I hope no one judges me. 😅

All kinds of lineups have already been discussed (eg omegaverse, sub/dom, mafia, etc.). BUT I thought what if Maxy was a cat hybrid (like Jimmy and Sassy and the combination of their personalities) and Charles was a dog hybrid (like Leo)? A world where hybrids can live comfortably, but they are rarely present in sports. That's why guys would be the focus. Dogs and cats are enemies in the mind, aren't they? Maxy and Charles would deny that.

How about? Of course, you can add any idea, I just thought I'd throw it in as a novelty. 😇

When Max and Charles are young (during their karting days) their hybrid forms would be more like a kitten and a puppy so they would clash because they are both so full of energy and so excitable. 

This would also explain why Max was so upset during the “inchident" where Charles pushed him into a puddle in val d’argent - his hybrid cat form HATES water!!

It would be fun for that hybrid personality to also come out when they are giving interviews or when they have to see the stewards - Maybe Max is quite sassy sometimes whereas Charles tries to make puppy dog eyes to get out of penalties 😂

Everyone expects Max and Charles to be polar opposites and not get on because of the traditional cat versus dog but they definitely have this sort of vibe...

All it took to get a proper Lestappen hug was Charles breaking the Monaco curse! It feels like some sort of soulmate shit - break the curse that haunts you and your soulmate will come and find you 😂

But seriously, it's Charles' arm around Max's waist that really got me first. And then the fact that Charles properly leans into it because I always imagined the first hug would be mostly from Max's side (as he generally seems more tactile to me) but it's both of them leaning in and looking so comfortable and slotting together like it's the most natural thing in the world. Their faces were so close together too.

Just think how far they have come. Like truly, honestly their relationship has developed so much. Max genuinely looks happy for Charles.

And it goes pretty well for the first few months until Verstappen’s son requests his company for dinner. It’s the first real interaction with him and Charles is dead set on gaining some intel. Only for Max to place a neat little folder on his plate that includes Charles’ real name and history. Charles thinks he’s a dead man only for Max’s eyes to go soft and he very softly begs Charles to get him out of here. If he really is a good man, to help him please. And Charles is dumbfounded, but he can see the fear in Max’s eyes

omg omg omg anon this is the most delicious set up to a story, I am in love with it! The little twist where Max asks for help - honestly my heart hurts for him so much 🥺 and he is being so brave asking for help.

Charles really wouldn't want to just blow his cover and get Max out of there immediately, it would be too dangerous! So he would have to stay undercover and perhaps would start to see why Max needs help and why he is so afraid. It would be so difficult for Charles to keep his cool, he'd be completely torn between doing his job and saving Max! But then I suppose he would also be afraid Max could tell everyone who he is if he doesn't help so he would have to put his trust in Max's hands.

So many layers to this! Ahh I love it so much I want to read thousands of words of it!

and they realize that they never once talked about the fact that they love each other. and want to have and raise this kid together. oops.
