anji mito flirting with men compilation
exactly what it says on the tin. a compilation of anji mito bisexual moments in chronological order
1. ggx2
this is his win quote against chipp. yes im counting this
2. dust strikers
this is in response to johnny saying something about how its impressive that bridget would want to fight a bunch of powerful guys or something like that. johnny responds with "what?" and anji quickly elaborates that hes interested in guys POWER but im still putting this here also
note: previous two entries are canonically dubious. so thank god he has some bisexual moments in strive too
3. strive
this one keeps getting looked over for some reason but he has THIS conversation with nagoriyuki if you beat him with 1 heart in extreme mode stage 8
transcript:
nago: you've thrown me for a loop. what a dance.
anji: liked it, did you?
nago: haha, perhaps. come visit me again.
anji: ...wait. i didn't even get to talk to him.
and most recently. his intro interaction with asuka
transcript:
anji: hey there, handsome.
asuka: another ambush? really?
anji also has a win quote against him where he goes "you need more training. have you been eating right?" but ive always interpreted that as more mocking lmao but ymmv lmao, he has a few other unique intro interactions with asuka that could be interpreted as flirting ("look at us, dancing like this!")
feel free to add on (PLEASE add on if i missed something)!

worst part about being a picky eater/not having a giant palette of food for a variety of reasons that are out of my control is that getting me to try new foods is like, a big fucking deal for some people, so they try to coax me into it and it just makes me embarrased and anxious to even do it lmao. like dont make a fuss about it please

lemme tell you im starting to get a little sick of when im complaining about when a show or movie is writing a major female character with not as much depth as her male cohorts or she's written oddly plot device-like for a main character and people always tell me "oh but it's intentional, we're seeing her through the eyes of the male main character and he has a crush on her so he doesnt see her flaws" because like
FIRST of all yeah i get it but its hard to write that trope interestingly to me at this point without a lot of work put into subversion so intentionality doesnt make it any less boring
SECONDLY half the time people say this about ensemble cast stuff and like why is the random dude suddenly designated as the most perspective of all perspective characters when it comes to this specific woman. why dont we get to see the other characters perspectives on her too?
AND THIRDLY do people view women they have crushes on as bland plot devices without lives of their own enough irl that this is so universal in writing? isnt the point of having a crush wanting to hang out and know more about your crush, know about their likes and dislikes and all that. am i missing something here

...what mediocre jack black gay sex movie?
This one called the D-Train
They dont talk abt it in the trailer but jabdkf the plot twist is that jack black banged the cool actor guy and nearly ruined his marraige and lost his job because of it. The movie is v fascinating to me cause its not overtly Homophobic??? But the overall effect is homophobia, but it does it in a kind of compelling way and thats so funny to me. It comes soooo close to saying something interesting, but fails to do so because its conclusion is just so Weird and came out of left field (for me). So yeah its weirdly compelling in a "studying the psyche of a straight-but-not-homophobic white man whos coming to terms w being a normie" kind of way

Im still wondering what the deal was with the joke at the start of peacemaker tries hard about people being mad about lore being retconned (and also how anybody mad is a dumb idiot who doesnt understand how comics work). Like the only people I've ever seen talking about Peacemaker's previous stuff being ignored in a negative way besides ME are people who arent actually interested in the character and just wanted to hate the show because they hate James Gunn (and it is very obvious from the way they talked about it that they didnt actually get who Peacemaker was as a character since most of those people were also convinced he was a serious antihero pre-show which like. Yeah ok.)
I dunno. Still convinced it was making up a guy to be mad at and is part of why I was annoyed with this miniseries from the start. Also because of the fucking sexual assault joke Im not ignoring that.

i believe libraries are important and good. i do not emotionally care for them
Ive been having trouble thinking today, or rather expressing sentiments in accordance with an essay structure
At some point i gave up and watched a sj the x video. that helped imensly s in i can now make logical atatements again. however i am not really thinking and making connections im just sitting here like hello yes i have thoughts
And like i can see how i could write an essay on themes of estetics and the subjective and objective merits of art in relation to my theme, Should we close public libraries, but it wont change the fact that my answer is no deeper then a simple "no, are you an idiot"
and i have reasons ans back up but its just a liat of articles i could point someone towards, like hello this is research i found on the positive impacts of libraries on communities. please think of how someone would apply to a job in the current landscape of online applications if they dont have acess to a home or the internet. the answer may be libraries.
also librarians exist and libraries have other communal funtions. like reading to children. supporting local charities in various ways. serving as a social environment.
I have all the building blogs of yes one could make an essay out of theese parts
but i do t have the connective tissue. im missing the fucks given to explain. it probably wouldve helped if ive ever argued with someone over this but frankly im having a hard time actually making genuine contraaruments about Yes we should close public libraries, without making a pseudo strawman, like hello if you genuenly think we should close public libraries you eirher have no clue what youre talking about or your intentions are like. evil. whcih isnt. its not accurate. it doesnt make for a good essay
Id rather write several essays about me trying to write this essay then the actual essay
the theme decided i dont wanna fuck with it and now im here. wishing i spent the last 5 hours doing a little gouache painting instead of trying to turn my beain on and off aga-
maybe sleep would help. didnt help the last 2 times i tried to fic this "i dont wanna start this essay" problem, but at this point ive done that and moved to I dont actually wanna write it
.. i should probably talk this out with someone. as in ask them what reasons do you think someone could have for closing a library?
Also look up essay structures again. i hate doing that i prefer just reading and listening to essays and seeing where what i consider a logical train of thought goes, but im very stuck and if you cant make something you like, make something very technical
