[Roman centric angst] after POF Thomas goes to ‘check up on Roman’, only to make him feel worse by guilt tripping him for “acting weird” and being so close-minded with Janus because “heroes don’t act like that. You can do better.” (also can I be 👀 anon?)

Oh yeah!

"You were fine before this episode, what happened! You turned back into the bully that you were when Virgil first came in."

Roman can't even explain that Patton and Virgil really pushed that Janus shouldn't be trusted and how hard he was trying to keep up with all the changes but Thomas keep cutting him off.

"You can't blame others for your feelings."

"Princes accept all their people no matter what."

"Heroes help everyone, you want to be my hero don't you?"

Because Gods he want to be Thomas' hero but he can't keep up but Thomas keep pushing and pushing.

"You'll accept everyone yeah? For me, hero?" Yes Thomas. Roman strikes up conversations with Janus. And has stopped avoiding him.

"Heroes support everyone even if they are the only one doing it." Yes Thomas. The next time his ideas are ridiculed he just laughs it off and let the others do as they please.

"Heroes don't insult people." Yes Thomas. All of his banter has basically vanished. Letting the others insult him without much of a twitch. Just a smile.

Hero. Hero. Hero. Hero. All he wants to be is Thomas' hero.

At some point, he's so used to being called Hero. He stops responding to his name.

"Roman can you conjure up a map?" Nothing. Who's Roman? Couldn't be him. Roman sounds powerful. Like the Roman Empire from what Logan told him.

"Roman?" Still nothing. He doesn't respond. Standing idly. Heroes don't move sporatically. Only when called upon. That's what Thomas says.

"Uh, Hero?" Oh! Someone finally called him. He moves to respond. Cause he's such a good Hero.

As long as he follows what Thomas says.
