like okay the thing is. the show is about characters who were hunting each other and eating each other in the wilderness so i just think. well. it was never gonna have a nat arc that tells her you're okay baby and your life has value sweetheart. like if it was a different show and nat simply had struggles with drugs and suicidal ideation because of the shit that happened with her abusive father and stuff and then she ultimately died tragically while trying to recover that could really be quite questionable but like. that's not the story? she wasn't getting better she was getting into a cult. that was led by the unstable old friend she was in a cannibal cult with before. she wasn't getting better she was getting into a cult mentality that's why her behavior was so strange people were thinking she's manipulating lottie when in fact she was just getting indoctrinated

i do NOT think it was meant to be a "redemption arc" either like i've seen people say. i do not think it was supposed to FEEL like redemption that's why it DIDN'T. you weren't supposed to be tearing up like oh but with this death she made up for everything they did out there. she never could! none of them ever can! it's not about that. i think it's supposed to be tragic in a preventable way to parallel jackie's death in a way. a different set of circumstances allowed her to survive in the wilderness and doomed her in the present. she saw a moose and brought people to the lake to make a hole in the ice and pull out the moose. the ice wasn't as strong in that place which is probably why javi stepping on there broke the ice. and she was gonna save javi but misty stopped her. and this time misty found her and called for everyone to come because she was there and nat's visions at lottie's cult set off the chain of events. and this time misty's attempt to save her just led to her death instead. nat's attempt to save lisa's life led to nat losing hers like javi's attempt to save nat's life led to javi losing his

⊹  training threads. inigo teaches your muse how to wield a sword or some basic techniques. if your muse is already familiar with swordsmanship, they could also spar with one another to try and improve.  (or maybe they got into an argument, and this is how they plan on settling it?)  inigo has a very unique style of fighting that pays homage to his talents in dance while still incorporating distinctive feroxi techniques: he’s quick and nimble on his feet, likely a little flashy from time to time for dramatic effect. your muse could alternatively be interested in learning this particular style. (bonus: does your muse know magic? perfect! inigo has one whole point in his magic stat! teach him how to wield it!)

⊹  future past dlc. this one’s a little more self-explanatory. something taking place in the timeline that’s potentially and very likely doomed for the awakening kids. i’d really like this to be bittersweet: angst is a certain theme, but inigo taking care of your muse (or doing the best that he can) would be cute. tending to wounds, sticking next to your muse in battle as closely as he can, leading up to the actual events of the dlc where he and your muse find themselves in a dire situation they could very well die in.

⊹ future past dlc: part two.  i made a post about this only a night ago and it’s completely optional, but considering inigo’s grown up in an apocalypse he’s incredibly touch-starved and deprived of normal, teenager experiences. he could very well die any day, but he’d like to at least experience his first kiss and some semblance of affection before he does, even if it’s fake. and that’s where your muse comes in! they find a bittersweet affection in pretending to care for each other-- it’s not a smart idea to fall in love in the middle of an apocalypse, but if you’re so inclined, it could go that way.

⊹  dancing!  lots of different scenarios here. inigo could teach your muse how to dance (maybe there’s a sort of royal event, post-awakening or post-fates and your muse needs to prepare for it), or you could be one of the lucky few to be invited to inigo’s late-night dance practices. probably by the lake-side in the dead of night, and he asks your muse what they think about his steps, maybe persuades them into joining him.

⊹  tavern melees. inigo gets into a bar fight for one of the following reasons: 1) to impress your muse because he thinks they’re cute, 2) to impress the bar maid because SHE’S cute, 3) he tries to hit on a girl and it turns out she’s there with her spouse... oops! whatever the case, he joins in and your muse can choose to ALSO join in, and or tend to inigo’s injuries after they get kicked out and subsequently banned.

⊹  masquerade. are you a sucker for plots along the lines of “i met you at an underground masquerade in one of the kingdoms where both of our identities are totally anonymous, but i instantly fell in love and i’m dying to see you again.”? awesome. me too. bonus points if they actually know each other and aren’t aware of it.

⊹  modern verse things! either while inigo is in high school or in university pursuing dancing. there’s a lot of potential here: them meeting at a party, classmates who get stuck on a project together, maybe they’re paired up for an upcoming performance and they’re stuck at rehearsals together, maybe there’s rumours of a fucking ghost at campus so they break in after hours to investigate because they’re fucking idiots and-- holy shit did you hear that. dude i’m not ready to die yet.  

⊹  modern verse things... again. but this time we focus on inigo’s presence as a social media star. he’s huge on instagram and twitter, gets into a lot of beef with beauty gurus and b-list celebrities because he shades them. few possibilities: 1) he’s a youtuber, 2) he works for some sort of modelling agency, 3) he’s just a kid with a big mouth online and people think he’s hot so that’s why he has thousands of followers. whatever it is, he and your muse are peers and Bond.

⊹  star-crossed lovers. inigo and your muse are absolutely smitten. head over heels. obnoxiously in love. but for whatever reason, they can’t be together-- whether that be because of different social standings (maybe your muse is royalty?) or something else, they have to keep their relationship a secret. but that doesn’t stop inigo from tossing pebbles at your muse’s window at three in the morning, scaling their balcony, just to be like “hi i know we’re not supposed to be together but i can’t sleep and i missed you.” all that cliché goodness.

⊹  AUs. dude... i could make another wish list post entirely made of just AUs. specifically ghibli and disney AUs. princess mononoke AU where inigo suffers from a curse that’s about to kill him and falls in love with your muse who’s first of all way out of his league and secondly has been raised by ancient spirits? yes. howl’s moving castle where one of our muses ALSO suffers a curse and loses their ability to speak, use magic, etc. etc. (it rly depends on the muse bc the curse is meant to teach them a lesson :d), and the other is an infamous and mysterious sorcerer who travels around kingdoms? yes. kiki’s delivery service AU where one of our muses is a witch or wizard in training and comes to an otherwise ordinary town to hone their magic? fuck!! me!! up!!! bitch!!!!! i got these AUs coming for DAYS, baby!
