Asking here bc I'm a little shit 😊 I am curious what your thoughts are abt raphael's sweet tooth, and what specific foods he used to enjoy as a human and what are the ones he misses, or tries to incorporate into his liquid diet as a vamp? Specifically sweet side of things and treats 😊 I vote chocolate and nuts just bc I say so and I live them but...discuss 😈 our boy needs something sweet in his un-life 😊

tbh i think that raphael likes savory foods more than sweet ones, simply because idk. but he does like sweets and when he has a sweet, it’s just... supposed to be sweet you know. like he loves chocolate and piloncillo and other sweet stuff that he grew up eating. he definitely only has coffee if it’s café de olla and he doesn’t like bitter foods in general cuz like, come on, he has enough of that in his life already. and just... the smell of cinnamon and piloncillo and coffee makes him feel at home, you know? safe

and yeah just in general raphael is not about that “dark chocolate” life or wow super delicate pastries with a suave taste........ like get out of here with that shit he wants food that tastes like something and if it’s a dessert that something is sweet and also get fucked

also, he loves cinnamon. he just does. like roasted bananas with honey and cinnamon? yes! pan dulce with cinnamon? donuts with cinnamon? apple pie with lots of cinnamon??? just YEA

he also definitely has a deep appreciation for those... monster foods you know daudsodasj which i think are a thing throughout all of america (the continent) or at least they are in all countries i know and they definitely are in méxico. he might be lowkey a snob in the sense that everything must be done correctly but like those... idk nacho volcanoes with tons of salsa that are just overflowing in the plate and are a gigantic pile, he not-so-secretly loves those. remind them of having a house full of people and just like again TASTE okay things are supposed to have strong tastes and eating is just an intense experience and that’s just how it is lmao so yeah he does have that junkie side in that sense

and idk what else that i haven’t talked about doudsoaj but also i definitely agree with chocolate and nuts, it’s just a great combination and if the cronuts thing taught is anything it’s that rapha likes crunchy foods (which i think makes sense, especially cuz like, he’s had enough of liquid diets) it’s just a Good Texture and maybe he even likes the sound they make you know?

oooh this also laces in with my “him and rosa used to love stealing each other’s chicharrones de harina” headcanon just because i can. like every time he would get one from her plate he would just eat it very obnoxiously with a shit eating grin on his face making a lot of noise and they’d laugh at each other and their mom would just be like, ugh, children, so the noise reminds him of that and it’s something he appreciates u know dadjsadja
