That Ranchers oneshot, in a perfect world, would’ve been smth of a visual novel / rpg horror (but that’s the whole au tbh). Where SYNOPSIS picture this:

It’s week 5 into the apocalypse — you’re Tango Tek, alone, driving along the beaten road in your friends’ ute. You (as Tango) spot this stranger, also alone, who by mysterious means is walking on the side of it.

He begs you to take him with you (when I mean begging he is grovelling crying you think he threw up at one point) so you do. And now you, and this stranger, together in your friends’ ute, on route to the Nether Lands — because by gods, it takes two if you’re going to retrieve everything your idiot of a team member dropped when he turned.
