Kat doesn't know what's wrong with her lately.

It's infuriating. If she doesn't know the problem, how is she supposed to solve it? ...It can't be that she's getting scared. She decided a long time ago that she was going to find her dad, and that it didn't matter what happened to her... Never once has she wavered on that decision - in fact, it's the thought of giving up instead that fills her with a stomach-churning kind of fear.

But it's the small things she's noticing. ...Nothing is as fun as it used to be. Anxiety buzzes inside of her for no good reason. Sometimes, she feels as though nothing is real, and she's hit with a fleeting sense of desperation that makes her want to run back home and sleep until everything's fine again...

The worst part is that she's been putting off thinking about her plans. Even though she was so excited about this latest ritual, it feels like that excitement has drained away into nothing for no reason at all. Even Annie has noticed her bad mood as a result, teasing her about it a little, though there's genuine concern underneath that, too.

But today, she's not going to procrastinate anymore. The person she's seeing is supposedly a witch, and Kat's going to get something out of her for sure. Most people don't react well to talk of occult rituals, witch or not, so she'll have to be a little sneaky, but that doesn't bother her at all.

"Hey, this stuff isn't bad!" she exclaims, taking another gulp of her drink. She isn't lying, either - she's genuinely a little impressed. "Looks like you do really know your stuff after all. But hey, you can't blame me for being skeptical."

Senju doesn't know much about Catalina at all. Honestly, coming here at all might've been a huge waste of time. But how could rumors about a real-life witch not catch her attention?

Her brothers probably think she's being childish, but who cares? It doesn't matter what they think. It's not like she's getting her hopes up about the magic being real - it just sounds like a fun way to pass the time, and Senju has always had a... strange fixation on the supernatural, to an extent. It's subdued, not even close to an obsession, but when she thinks about things like other worlds and strange powers, something in her seems to stir from deep within...

Well, either way, she's here now. Senju enters Catalina's shop with a skip in her step, her cheerful appearance clearly at odds with the image one would expect of a gang member.

"Ooooh, look at all this... this is getting kind of fun!"

All things considered, Hartley is really hoping she doesn't run into anyone else right now.

After all, creeping around a currently-disused apartment block is a surefire way to get the police called on you at best, or killed at worst. Hartley may be able to take out a threat of the supernatural variety but the police? Well she'd have a hard time explaining away all the various contraband tucked away under her clothes.

Sighing, she exits the building and pauses a little ways away. No pack of feral werewolves to be found, so her information must be bad.

A sound behind her has her whipping around, hand instantly to her gun.

"Who's there?"

What was the first muse that you’ve written?

Oooh that's a really good question because my memory is TERRIBLE haha! Ugh,,, I know one of the first canon characters I ever roleplayed was Sebastian from Kuroshitsuji but I can't remember if I had a dedicated roleplay blog for him, I know when I started in the rp community of tumblr, I did canon characters at first and as much as it sucks to say I got so much more interaction then LMAO, I think my first might've been Levi Ackerman from Attack on Titan or he might've been my most popular, I can't quite remember but yeah! It was fine bc he was tsundere!

Bella crossed her arms over her chest and took a slow breath.

AUs are fucking great!

A lot of the RPC seems to be ok with them, it helps that a lot of blogs have AUs themselves. Personally I have a lot of AUs on this blog from general fantasy to Pokemon.

They are great fun to think about, and see how your muse fits into different fandoms OR if something in their story went slightly differently. What ifs are great and I really love AUs.

That’s what Mikey has to say as he looks around the shop. He can’t quite figure out just what this place is supposed to specialize in, though he supposes that’s what makes it interesting. After browsing for a few seconds, letting his eyes scan through the shop for anything that catches his eye... he turns to who he presumes is the owner and speaks.

“What do you sell here?”

It's not unusual for the Apothecary to have repeat visitors, or for Callisto to recognise their faces. This woman had come in before --not enough that Callisto knew her name, and never for Callisto's particular skill set, but enough to recognise that she knew what she was doing.

That, and the way she held herself. No hesitation - this was not someone exploring magic for the first time or wanting a few crystals to add to their windowsill collection.

Callisto's eyes flick over the newcomer, allowing her a few moments to look before she speaks.

"Looking for anything in particular?"

Of course her information could be outdated since she’s been living in said dangerous and off limits place for the last decade without any human company, the difference of course was that Nana had been park staff as the uniform she wore so implied. 

“Not that i’m really surprised to see someone, but it’s probably lucky I happened to be on this island today.” She added as she walked closer.
