I saw this somewhere, the Pillar Men headbutting their horns as a sign of affection. Just a simple gesture, not aggressively like rams, but gently pressing their horns together. Horns must have been a symbol of pride and honor among their society, as we got that revealing them to someone - let alone touching them - was something which had to be won. It would be one of Kars's and Esidisi's most common love language. Their horns touching, showcasing not only tenderness and love, but also respect for one another as individuals.
