BACK IN TIME: LADY GAGA ATTENDS THE MTV EMA AWARDS 2011 IN RABANNE “FEMME LUMIÉRE”

When Lady Gaga planned to attend the MTV European Music Awards at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast, she didn’t thought that she’d dominate the night by winning almost every award she was nominated for. The songstress performed ‘Marry The Night’ and was styled by Nicola Formichetti. 

The talented Val Garland did her otherworldly makeup while Frederic Aspiras was in charge for the hair.

Gaga accepted “Best Female” award dressed in one of the other-worldly flowers looking metallic paper outfits from Rabanne’s Spring/Summer 2012 “Femme Lumière” collection – the finale number from the runway with giant fine-pleated foil disc collar. 

You could see the silver piece Gaga wore breathing. Moving. Curving in and out. It was definitely living the night Gaga was about to marry! 

Gaga completed the look with matching custom Natacha Marro platform boots and one of the metallic iridescent flying saucer hats with cat-eye slits Philip Treacy created for the collection.

Some people promise you the stars, Gaga brings you the moon! For the ‘Marry The Night’ performance Gaga donned her second look of the night – another metallic paper creation from the Rabanne collection and Philip Treacy headpiece. 

Gaga’s landed on Earth again revealing custom Rabanne three-piece ensemble made with a digital body scan she wore underneath the red metallic fine-pleated creation. 

Her dancers rocked latex outfits by Void of Course. 

The black vinyl lace-up ankle boots with pointed toes and red bottoms are a customized version of Pleaser’s Seduce-1020 boots.

Later Gaga accepted her “Best Song” award wearing the green metallic fine-pleated paper peplum top with oversized shoulder sculpture and pencil skirt ensemble from the very same Rabanne collection. 

She wore, yet again, matching custom-made Natacha Marro boots and Philip Treacy headpiece, this time in bronze.

Fourth award for Gaga. Fourth look of the night. Fourth creation from the “Femme Lumière” collection. To accept her “Best Video" award for “Born This Way", Gaga wore Rabanne’s iridescent petrol-green organza suit. 

I was mesmerized by the high gloss hourglass top with lustrous iridescent armour-like paillettes chain-mail underlayer. 

Same as the previous looks, this one was also crowned with Philip Treacy headpiece and custom Natacha Marro blue satin platform boots with silk laces.

Last but definitely not least, her outfit change for the press room.

Gaga changed into a silver to blue gradient metallic armor-like chain-mail python leather body scan dress with sculpted shoulders from the Rabanne collection.
