I stupidly didn’t take @orlynailsuk Nailtrition on holiday with me and had to use Mum’s Nail Envy, I lost the corners of three nails of my right hand and nick developed in that testy ring fingernail 😬so I’ve gone back to the beginning with the treatment. Bragging moment, please forgive me! I have never been happier with my nails than I am at the moment. They are at a manageable length for me and I haven’t had a split since last November in my tricky ring finger. I’ve made a couple of changes, namely using @orlynailsuk Nailtrition and gently filing the ring finger every week (literally a few swipes of a crystal nail file) and that has so far stopped the splitting. Obviously using tons of oil and handcream is another thing, I have been using @beautykitchen Abysinnian Oil facial oil because I’ve had a large stash of it and didn’t want it to go to waste and it’s great. Another oil I always recommend is Natasha’s @apothakaskincare SOS Nail and Cuticle Oil which is beautiful and in my opinion one of the best in the business. I’ve had a lot of problems with my nails over the last couple of years, a lot of splitting, sometimes right down to the nail bed and it’s been painful. I seem to have found a sweet spot now with the new treatment and the filing routine (just watch now while I jinx myself 😂😂) Nail Envy just doesn’t seem to suit me anymore, weird how things change.
