Little Isa holds the REALLY tiny Luisa for the first time and is like.

"She's so...tiny?" But then Luisa starts squirming and crying, Isabela quickly hands her back to Agustin in terror and starts crying cause she thought she broke Luisa and she's a terrible person for doing so lol It takes Julieta a long time to calm Isabela down, while Agustin is trying to hold in his laughter at the toddler panic shouting "I broke the baby!"

There has been too many angsty Agustin and Julieta fics. We must combine our brains to bring nothing but wholesome vibes to the NCIU AU. Like nothing can ever go wrong, maybe a bit of jealousy in Julieta when the other moms dare to even look at her boy.  

Agustin takes Isabela to preschool because Julieta is working, and Isabela parades around telling people that Luisa is her baby sister and Agustin is her dad. Agustin awkwardly smiles and is just like 'I wish Julieta was here...'

I imagine Pepa is a bit hesitant with Agustin at first, but then she sees him taking care of Luisa and her heart just shatters. She grabs Julieta by the face and just says "If you don't marry him, I'll tell mama to disown you."

Like, while she is informing Agustin about all that Luisa will need in terms of care, he is hardcore listening and writing all of it down with a fury because he doesn't want to miss any details. He is so not ready for this dad thing, but he is going to try his hardest at it. She just stares at him and realizes 'Oh no... something has awakened... I will kill anything that hurts this man'

I cannot stop.

Julieta gives him her phone number when Luisa leaves the hospital just in case if he has any questions. After weeks of him calling her, terrified by a sound or a thing Luisa did and wanting to make sure she's okay, the calls turn into him sharing all of baby Luisa's milestones. Then they turn into late night talks where Agustin has time to finally release all of the thoughts he's keeping in.

After one very emotional call where Agustin breaks down, he apologizes and hangs up, then she stops getting calls from him. After a couple of days of not receiving a call or seeing him, Julieta builds up the courage and just GOES to his house. He opens the door and blinks at her, she immediately hugs him and the boy just breaks the heck down in her arms. After that there are no more calls because they have turned into Julieta coming over for dinner a couple nights out of the week.

Nicu au, Agustin smiling over a decorated name plaque with Luisa's maker on it, flowers and cute butterflies to hang on the incubator. Realizing Julieta did it, and thanking her because his child was the only one without a decorated name plaque yet.

His stark fear the first time he meets Luisa when she's a day old and he's already signed papers saying she's his while waiting on dna, standing back wringing his hands anxiously holding a little fluffy stuffed donkey. Julieta distracting him from his anxiety by asking about the toy and getting a story about his favorite toy growing up, an animal themed nursery.

Julieta being the one to first convince him that Luisa won't break if he touches her hand through the incubator, and smiling each time she catches him holding her hand talking to the baby, even if her palm barely grasps one finger.

Agustin has to leave the room to get a call or something and Juli stays with baby Luisa and after a bit she just starts talking with her while Luisa stares at her with big eyes like she understands it all

And then when Agustin arrives he just sees Julieta giggling and cooing over his daughter, having a chat about cheese and it's components IDK and his heart just skips a beat

This is so adorable and yes Julieta totally talks about what she’s going to make for dinner once she’s home or randomly talks about her biggest interest (which is of course cooking and baking) with her patients! (Mostly her parent’s patience because, you know… they are kids, but whatever!)

Like she’s the one that always brings cookies at work for everyone😭💖

nicu au Agustin saying one day it's hard to single parent it, asking how Julieta manages with a toddler not just a baby. Julieta laughing and admitting she lives in a multi-generational house. Yes she's a single mother but her sister takes care of her daughter along side her same aged niece whenever Julieta's at work. Her mother is champion at bedtime tuck-ins, she has help no matter what.

Nurse Julieta who really really tired from a long shift, who comes over to Agustin (idk the reason) and she accidentally fall asleep on his shoulder while holding Luisa who also asleep. Agustin is screaming inside and blushing not moving. Someone, a family member, takes a photo

She just finished her shift (it’s around 4am) and was about to go home when she hears baby Luisa crying, and of course, her being her favourite little patient she just says to the other nurses to not worry and that she’ll take five more minutes to go check on herself.

When she arrives she finds Agustín asleep (probably collapsed after 48h wide awake) and she doesn’t have the heart to wake him up since she knows that’s probably his first night of proper sleep in a month so she just takes Lu from the cradle and go sit next to Gus on the bad (because Luisa falls asleep faster when you’re laying back and she’s on your lap) but after a while she falls asleep as well.

A couple of hours later, when the sun is just about to raise, Agustín wakes up and feels a little pressure on his shoulder, so he snaps, looks aside and sees the scene and then that happened… he was hooked !

10 minutes later his sister comes in bringing him breakfast and just silently laughs at how frustrated Agustín looks so she takes a picture and he just flips at her not wanting to make a sound worried to wake them up

Ok so I’m guessing this is a mordern au? That mean Isa has or the family has a computer, (my 4 year old could loves looking up horror fan songs like cartoon cat ) so like one day Isabela just has Julieta sit down and she rants to her mom about some sing or the lore and while she dress her mom in stickers and bows and glitter. Julieta leaves it in and Agustin finds it cute

They have so little time together (at least not as much as Julieta would like) that every single moment is closely cherished to Julieta’s heart

NICU AU and Agustin slightly embarrased in the NICU when Julieta teases him for being 'late' and admitting he's been at court. "Nothing bad! Well sort of bad. Not me bad though!" blushing and mumbling his way through an explanation - far more detailed than needed - about one night stands and custody exchanges and being legally a full single dad now just him and little Lu.

He jokes quietly she'll be the only girl in her school with one last name. Julieta quips back she'll match her daughter then, "But for some reason I'm sure your Lu will be in much nicer dresses than my Isa."
