i finished zi-o. i think its gonna be the only thing i think about for the next month

#well courts is making me watch ultra z so i’m also doing that i guess #so many mixed feelings about the ending of zi-o fr #i haven’t watched any of the movies or other content yet so idk if my opinions would change #i think main 1. i hate the concept of wiping the whole timeline #but 2. it’s a completely new divergent timeline?? so it’s not like they’re starting completely over again it’s essentially an alt universe #??? #but 3. I DONT CARE AS LONG AS WVERYONE IS ALIVE AND HAPPY #and 4. Micchi or Tsukasa

…this is the meanest ask ever.

Micchy is the primary reason I got through Gaim, ngl. His character progression, both the devolution and the way it is never shown as a good thing, the way his regrets catch up to him, and the way his redemption doesn’t come without consequences, is a really amazing aspect of Gaim. Ryugen Budou Arms is one of my all time favorite suits, too. And my favorite male Gaim suit just. In general. He’s a rare example in media in the negatives of children being tasked with the fate of the world. He’s really cute. His actor plays him perfectly. He makes the most pathetic sobbing sounds I have ever heard. Point of No Return is my favorite character song (though favorite ship song is Time Judged All obviously). The way his relationship with his brother, with his friends, affect him. The fact that he begins with good intentions but collapses under the weight of his own lies.

Tsukasa Main’s my favorite Rider season. His journey, his unique take on the amnesiac trope, the tragedies yet happy ending in the final act of his story. The fact that when faced with the position of his predecessors he tries still to give Sougo outs, to actively help him, to understand him. His relationship with the rest of the OT4 is so good. DECADE HAS A STORY BY BEING PART OF SO MANY OTHERS’ STORIES!!! His speeches are so good every time we stan. He doesn’t know how to be a good person but he tries so hard. He’s both a hero and an asshole and we love him for it. When he let Natsumi kill him I DIED. Masahiro plays him so well, even when their semi-villainous writing of Tsukasa in Zi-O made it hard, he still had my precious boy shine through the residual Jinga.
