I feel like out of all the people I follow you’d appreciate this the most, but fantasy adult toy companies are no fucking joke man. A girl I went to school with had a heart defect, so she was fully ambulatory, but she needed to be pushed in a wheelchair if she got overexerted.

She had an all-terrain wheelchair that someone else would just push when she wasn't using it.

I have no idea if that's helpful or useful info, but it thought it might a similar situation.

Thanks! It sounds like it is a very similar situation, and it's very good to know all-terrain wheelchairs are a thing that exists. I'm still leaning towards getting one that's a combo rollator/transport chair (or wheelchair), because sometimes leaning on something makes it easier for me to walk or balance if I'm dizzy but my blood pressure's okay, but I might end up going with a wheelchair

say it 👏 i find it funny when people are like "i simply cannot forgive xyz character because they did something bad". cos from a story writing perspective, how is anything meaningful supposed to happen if all the characters are perfect? how is there going to be a plot of any interest if the characters don't act like people do?

i think it's high time we recognise that good, satisfying stories rarely come from heroes. they come from incredibly flawed (and therefore quintessentially human) characters, whose faults and misguided notions/intentions are what drive the plot forward.

Is Khare a good swimmer?

Absolutely, though not to the level of an olympic swimmer or somebody whose body is designed for swimming? (i.e Killer Croc, King Shark, ect...) Khare's main advantage is her sheer endurance and ability to hold her breath for long periods of time, along with seeing much more clearly underwater even in the murkiest depths. There are limits to how well she can see; for instance, she'd be as blind as the next person if it's pitch black but in low light conditions, her sight is as clear as day, her surroundings looking much brighter compared to her original sight and underwater vision clear as if she were wearing goggles. Her lack of natural body temperature makes losing warmth a non-issue. Khare can spend hours in cold water without losing energy or strength and her body type makes her quite a bit more buoyant despite her mutation making her muscles so dense and heavy? She's almost graceful underwater, moreso than she is on land and so feels quite comfortable in the water although isn't much faster than a decent swimmer her age and gender.

How strong is Roman physically speaking?

He’s not the strongest man in Gotham but Roman can definitely give most people a run for their money. He’s in peak physical condition and, providing he hasn’t recently been injured or locked up in Arkham, the best shape he’s ever been in his life. Roman eats a balanced diet, working out consecutively most days to ensure he doesn’t stagnate or lose muscle between long hours of work and has absurdly high tolerance for pain, making him a troubling opponent should one consider taking him on. For those who are, one thing to keep in mind is that he lacks the skill of Batman and isn’t as youthful as Red Hood, nor has he been strengthened by any outside sources such as a Lazarus Pit. Roman is pure brawn and fury, his additional height and strength an unintentional consequence of the traumatic head injury he suffered in infancy. All this combined with his ferocious temper and resistance to pain makes Roman Sionis a nasty opponent to throw down with, especially without back up or additional weapons on hand to give yourself a fighting chance. Only a few people are capable of besting him fairly one on one, those individuals being Batman, Nightwing, Robin(s), Red Hood, Catwoman, Killer Croc, Bane and the Joker.

You don't think the writers made them toxic in season 9? What? Literally everyone talks about how badly they ruined them. Like they spent all of S7 fighting. And in S9, Maya felt so suffocated that she left for 5 days and couldn't be bothered to text. She couldn't say "I love you" for 2 years, which made Lola feel unloved. Maya said something biphobic to Lola's face & didn't apologize. And Ayumi herself called them toxic. Season 6 Mayla was special and that's the only version that matters.

Like first of all, people on the internet are WAY too loose with the word toxic. Like two people can’t be unhappy in a relationship without it being called toxic lmao. Fighting in a relationship isn’t inherently toxic, neither is the idea of feeling suffocated. Unhealthy? For fucking SURE! Mayla was really unhealthy!

The things is though, a toxic relationship really isn’t something that can be fixed. Maya and Lola literally could have had like a good heart to heart and everything would have been worked out, like I strongly believe that. The root of their issue was communication. Lola was clingy because of her past traumas and Maya felt suffocated and handled it in the wrong way because of hers. If Maya had told Lola about this issue and they had talked it out, they would have made it work. But they didn’t! The writers literally never let them talk it out lmao!! Like you don’t think it’s strange that at the end of it they had to go with “Lola just doesn’t love Maya anymore” and “they’re both just too difficult to be in a relationship” as those closers?? Like I’m sorry, I think THEY believe they wrote Mayla toxic, like that was their goal… but they literally suck so bad at writing that even that didn’t work?? Bc it was literally all just a communication issue???

As for the biphobia thing, like yeah I hated it, but again, one comment does not a toxic relationship make. And also Maya is literally at liberty of these writers who hate her and Lola so I pretend that line never happened
