from audio only I THINK it’s slimy, freaky, and till he makes them pay? but if that’s the case then both genius.com and the heroism fandom wiki have the incorrect lyrics and this is deeply upsetting to me (NOTE: Ben 10 wiki has the correct lyrics if I’m right but the heroism wiki shows up first when you google search for the theme song lyrics)

honestly, given the state of the veil in kirkwall, practicing a little blood magic might actually be the like, medically advisable option to help prevent possessions. 

#you can use blood magic ethically if you stick to using yourself/nonsapient beings like animals to power spells you would #otherwise be doing. blood magic isnt all horrific violations of other people fueled by suffering #it would probably be difficult to figure out the exact levels of blood magic use needed to moderate your fade connection enough to put you #back at what a normal level of fade connection in a place with a properly functioning veil would look like but its not impossible #also like. if the veil in kirkwall is in such tatters that mages can be seriously bothered from fadeside while awake you know that means #that non-mages are getting a mage-level dreaming experience while in the area. and it was never that only mages can be possessed its just #that mages are the most obviously 'visible'/reachable from fadeside and thus get the most exposure to that stuff #if trees and rocks can be possessed so can non-mages. tranquil can be possessed its just that theyre so difficult to find that its #rare enough to be considered an effective way to make a nonproblem. so probably dwarves could be possessed in the right circumstances too #i bet a good chunk of the possessions that happen in kirkwall are from out-of-town non-mages who didnt expect to be hit by a line of offers #every night and may not even have understood what was happening to them right upuntil the templars were spitting on their corpse

i'm sorry this is kinda out of your usual wheelhouse (not really a transmasc-specific thing) but I wanted to know if this is an ok opinion or not: a friend of mine found out someone who made a popular pride flag for their identity wasn't that identity anymore. They were trying to convince me that it should be "retired" because it "needed to be made by someone who was actually that identity". I said that was a horrible outlook because labels shifting doesn't invalidate your past identity but they keep hassling me about it. this is a shitty take right??? i'm not secretly bigoted?????

Its part of this queer-purity ideology that's big in online queer spaces, which is hyperfixated on inane shit like flags and labels following all the Queer Rules and being Morally Pure. like if you think a flag being made by someone who later changes their identity is Bad because "flags should be made by members of the community!" my friend you are theorypoisoned. you need to go talk to other people and get in touch with lived experiences and realities and realize that a flag being made by someone who used to identify with a term in good faith, and then later changed their identity, is literally a nonproblem.

theory is not law. the idea that, in general, members of a community should have the most active role in the language and representation of that community does not mean that any circumstance where someone creates something for that community without technically being a part of it is a Queer Crime.
