After an entire evening of sorting through florals and staring at various websites, he was certain he had his act together. It had been 15 years since his last date, but... with the bits of encouragement he'd been receiving he felt some of the nerves give way to excitement. Before he went to bed, with trembling fingers, he slipped the ring off the necklace that he always kept beneath his collar and stowed it safely away in a box of dried marigolds.

The next day, after a fresh haircut, at 20 minutes until noon, he arrived at the boba shop they'd agreed upon, a few small flowers wrapped in tissue behind his back.

Before Nightwing could think to stop him, Red walks over to the last of them and pats them down, taking a small baggie of glowing white and green powder. He pockets it, then takes a few steps back, hand resting on the grip of his pistol. "They aren't dead. Yet. Didn't have the time to round them up, myself."

Red Hood's always had a very specific way of categorizing who dies and who just gets their asses beat. It's all about those little legal loopholes. If they shoot, aim at him and keep shooting, their lives are more often than not forfeit.

These ones were just a little too slow with the trigger. But that didn't mean living had to be especially pleasant while Red Hood was in the streets.

The fingers manipulating the controls of the arcade cabinet didn't seem to be showing any signs of slowing down. In actuality, they had just went into auto-pilot as the brain previously commanding them had gone into a standstill.
