“I don’t want you,” Villain snapped, “Neither does the public, or the presses or the world.” They watched as who once was the city’s hero, flinched and curled in on themself slightly.

Hero was on their knees in-front of Villain, blood and bruises painting their face as their body shook.

“You’re not even gonna defend yourself?” Villain sneered, kicking Hero hard in the ribs and watching as the weak figure fell to the ground with a cry - Pathetic.

Hero was quick to get back to their knees, tears rolling down their cheeks, mixing with blood as they slowly looked up at Villain, “I-I dont care if the world doesnt wa-want me..” they rasped, “The- the person I care about most wanting me…. is you.”
