Fuck it man. Since I am officially getting my first tarantula, I'm dropping a TDIM tarantula au bc my research has inspired it.
Kate - OBT (Orange baboon tarantula, aka Orange bitey thing)
Tumblr media
Def wanted to make her an old world T because they're usually more aggressive so like. fits her. Also its orange.
Mark - Brazilian black
Tumblr media
Seen people call these the "puppy dogs of the tarantula world" so thats all u gotta know
Jamie - Cobalt blue
Tumblr media
Wanted to also make her an old world and this one is just. cool as fuck and KINDA has her colours in a way.
Erin - Curly hair
Tumblr media
They're fluffy and cute. Also one of the least aggressive ones.
Charlie - Greenbottle blue
Tumblr media
Bc out of all the Ts I've been looking at, I think abt these ones the least. Just like how I think about Charlie the least. (JKJKJKJK its bc it kinda looks like him idk)

everyone say hi to the newest spider babies!! Prohibition (Gatsby's Bourbon Bribe AKA GBB. Prohibition is her short name), a C. cyaneopubescens, and Mango Salsa, a P. murinus. P. murinus is also known as OBT (orange baboon tarantula/orange bitey thing) and is the patron tarantula of the Tarantula marines that their colour scheme is based on :3

I know you’re still waiting for Bestiary content. Soon, soon, I hope. I have an announcement to make, though. I have a few “dream animals” I’d like to own including a kenyan sand boa and P. murinus (AKA Orange Baboon Tarantula AKA Orange Bitey Thing.) One of my dream critters is rare in the pet trade lately because they aren’t bred as much anymore. There are similar species with nicer coloration, so people have tended to go for those. ANYWAY. An actual Theraphosa blondi sling became available, and I jumped at the opportunity. T. blondis are commonly known as the Goliath birdeater and they’re the largest spider in the world! It’ll be arriving on Tuesday and I’ll have pictures!
