Y’know what, I am 23, I am old enough to stop caring too much about what strangers on the internet will think of me. (I mean, unless they’re hiring me for work, but I’m not sure why they’d end up here if they were.)

So have a bunch of Naruto OCs!!!! These guys are the main thing that got me through last summer (and also my friends ^^ shoutout to @makarias-mom for being awesome), and I really love them! (Do mind that the names probably aren’t exactly structured right, bc my Japanese is fairly rudimentary and kanji are fascinating and complex, and my Western mind unfortunately has biases towards some sounds).

In order:

Kitagawa Kiki (北川希々) — Konoha, Alive in AU (they/them in english)

Kitagawa Momiji (北川紅神) — Unaffiliated, Alive in AU (he/him)

Kitagawa Mizutaka (北川水敬) — Konoha, Deceased (he/him)

Kitagawa Senka & Uzumaki Katsumi (北川茜夏 & うずまき勝海) — Uzushio, Deceased (both she/her)

Haijima Yasumi (拝島安未) — Suna, Alive (he/him)

Tsukimine Sei — Konoha, Alive (月峰星) (she/her)

Takami Kimihiro (鷹躬君尋) — Konoha, Alive (he/him)

Nawamo Yūichirō (縄文優一郎) — Tani, Alive (he/him)

Ayano (彩乃) — Ame, Alive (she/her)

Yamanaka Misora (山中美空) — Konoha, Alive in AU (she/her)

(Yes, Sei and Kimihiro are lightly based on Mizuki Kaho from CCS and Watanuki Kimihiro from xxxHolic. What can I say, I love the CLAMP multiverse and also needed to design some teachers quickly).

Many characters are marked as Alive in AU, because all of my story concepts for them exist in universes where Kiki (my main OC) survived the night of Naruto’s birth. In canon, they and their parents (not shown here) were killed that night.

Other OCs not pictured here: Kiki’s parents (Kazuto & Hitomi), Kazuto’s parents & grandmother (Asahi, Fūma, and Yōko), some of Kiki’s notable ancestors (Osamu, Amato, Seira, & Kazuhiko), Yasumi’s parents (Reito & Risa), Ayano’s parents (Tohru & Yōsuke), Ayano’s friend Kimi, Senju Yūma (OC for Tsunade’s dad/Hashirama & Mito’s kid), & Senju Kasumi (Yūma’s younger sister, AKA I got fed up with the timeline and said they have two kids), Misora’s parents (Sanae & Ayumu), Misora’s aunt & cousin (Manami & Yuzuki), Misora’s girlfriend Kiyoko, Yuzuki’s genin teammates (Hinata — different Hinata — and Akihiko), Sei’s friend Tomoko... yes I doubled the number of OCs since making this post (edited April 18). I will probably make even more.

One more for the road, before I get self-conscious and hide lol!

Naruto OC Post here.

WHY YES I DID PUT KIKI ON A GENIN TEAM WITH TWO CANON CHARACTERS, because it makes me happy and honestly, who is it going to hurt?

Anyways, in the basic AU where Kiki survives the Kyūbi’s rampage, they’re hurt pretty bad and spend a while in the hospital recovering. At one point Iruka runs into their room to hide after one of his pranks, and they quickly become friends — Kiki ends up graduating a little early, they end up on a genin team together, found family commences. (Purely platonic, in this case).

(They’re Team 4, because 4 is my favorite number and again, this AU is pure self-indulgence).
