“It’s a great comfort,” he said at last, “to see the sun come up and go down. When I dwelt in the cave, when I was in prison, it gave me hope, to see the light come and go, and know that the world went about its business.”

Day 7: Scene that made you laugh the most

I have tried to think through 6 seasons of Outlander to remember the scene that made me laugh the most. I couldn't think of that many that played out in the show. Maybe my brain just isn't functioning well this cold frosty morning and more coffee is needed.

The first scene that came to mind that made me laugh the most was from Season 6 Episode 2 Allegiance.

This just made me laugh so much when I watched it this episode. I think I probably rewound it several times it was so funny to me.

JAMIE: Ian! Are ye there?

YOUNG IAN: What is it, Uncle?

JAMIE: There’s a woman in my bed.

YOUNG IAN (amused) There are two of them, Uncle Jamie. The other is waiting her turn.

JAMIE: Two of them? What do they think I am? Christ!

YOUNG IAN: Well, no, Uncle, they dinna think ye’re Him. They ken that ye’re the King’s Agent and... I s’pose they think that... it might be an honor and a privilege to...

JAMIE: Madam! Cease! The two of you! You are beautiful. But, I canna lie with you.

Young Ian goes on further to explain why and then we are given this gem:

YOUNG IAN: They say they understand. Though, the one lass is saying it’s a disappointment to her, because you have a verra nice... er, um...

And the scene ends with:

JAMIE: Ye’d be wise to stifle yer glee.

I think I may find a way to incorporate that last quote into my most used sayings. Jamie is just so funny in this scene with his being surprised by the two women and so honorable by turning them down. Such a good guy.

I really wanted to find some gifs for this but I couldn't find any and waisted way too much time looking.
