honestly? peter quill and gamora were one of the only mcu couples that had actual chemistry and i will always be baffled as to why they decided to write them out. like... the vast majority of mcu romances are boring and bland and forgettable but these two weren’t and now they’re gone :-(

#like basically every main character has had A Love Interest but i can count on one hand the amount of like. memorable romances #and the others are tchalla + nakia and scott + hope #and you know one of those is gone also so really we only have one good mcu romance #and i never watched quantumania so maybe scotthope isn't slay anymore as well so thats zero good mcu romances #someone please tell me that scotthope is still slay i couldn't bear it if it were zero good romances #wanda + vision were cute for a little bit but then she literally gaslit him for multiple episodes of television so #not exactly rooting for them any longer. i do think vision can be a fun character but like he deserves better #peter parker + mj are fine ig but honestly? zendaya was the only one selling me on their relationship for like 99% of it #british boy step up #thor + jane were good in thor 1 and 2 but love and thunder sucked ass :-( #clint + laura is like... clint was already a nothing character and they only kinda salvaged him with the hawkeye show #doc strange + christine (?) had potential in the first movie but although i never watched multiverse of madness #i haven't heard anyone talking about them like at all so i have to assume she either wasn't in it or they did nothing with her so #mcu #i speak #mcu critical #and tony stark is the most insufferable man alive so any romance involving him immediately takes me out of the movie #i cannot suspend my disbelief that far im sorry
