She was bullied out of her job at The Guardian for her ‘unwoke’ views on trans rights. Now SUZANNE MOORE writes a blisteringly powerful riposte that Femail proudly publishes — in the name of free speech
Suzanne Moore battled to get a piece on trans issues published in The Guardian
But 338 colleagues wrote letter of complaint to editor before Suzanne resigned
Now, she says that she will not be silenced ‘on what it means to be a woman’

A few months ago I was having lunch with a friend, and we were talking about the country. America seemed divided then. But not like now.
My friend said that if the red and the blues, the proudly unwoke and the woke, the Trump lovers and the Trump haters were divided along strictly geographic lines, as with the war of the North and South, we would have another civil war today.
At the time I thought he was exaggerating — being melodramatic.
I don’t think that today.
The polls don’t measure enthusiasm. Or reticence.
But my subject is the great divide.
The divide is by geography, age, income, education, class, worldviews and values.
We divide over heroes and demons, stand-up comics and their jokes, TV shows, movies, music, gender, guns, the Bible, the military and, very much lately, police.
Those Trump signs were not hanging from dorm rooms at Bucknell University. They were on the barns of farmers and in front of home after home on the less-traveled roads in hardscrabble counties and towns.
You don’t often see a Biden sticker on a pickup truck in rural Ohio or Indiana.
We are two countries today. And the divisions that go deepest are cultural. If you watch “Blue Bloods” and “NCIS,” you are more likely a conservative, a libertarian or a Republican than a Democrat (and none of that makes you an enthusiastic Trumper). If the death of actor Chadwick Boseman is personal to you, you are more likely a young Bernie supporter than an old white guy.
And you probably don’t know much, if anything, about Thurgood Marshall — a black hero whom Mr. Boseman played as well as the “Black Panther.”

Conservatives Don't Want Their American Fantasy Spoiled By 1619 Project's Lying Reality - Wonkette
The New York Times published the 1619 Project this weekend and conservatives don't need to actually read the damn thing to know it's single-handedly destroyed all the racial harmony Donald Trump restored when he made America great. We've gone from "Ebony and Ivory" to "Kill the White People." It's a national tragedy.
Ilya Shapiro at the Cato Institute scolded New York Times columnist Jamelle Bouie over his interest in history that isn't as benign and politically sanitized as Woody Allen's version of New York. (...)
Sure, the United States is "mankind's grandest experiment in human liberty and self-governance." Domino's is also mankind's grandest experiment in pizza. Give them a couple hundred years and they might come close to something edible. How are you supposed to react to Shapiro's ridiculous statement as a black man or a woman of any shade? We were never the control group in this "experiment" in liberty.
If discussing slavery and its impact on America is "divisive," we should stop celebrating the Fourth of July. Why remind people who are enjoying The Beatles and "Doctor Who" that the British were once our enemies? What good can come of it? There's something especially gross and racist about proudly declaring how "unwoke" you are to a black man when dismissing our history as "grievance-mongering." Slavery is also more than a "wart" -- a benign, non-cancerous growth -- on the reality of America. Slavery destroyed lives. It's not a superficial, unsightly blemish that you cover up or remove on an outpatient basis. Shapiro isn't truly interested in "reality." (...)
Shapiro (surprisingly, not Ben) offers a merry-go-round of circular logic. America is the greatest country that ever existed so black people shouldn't complain that America was also a slave state like other common crap holes. If Shapiro could manage to see black people, he'd recognize that while slavery was our greatest tragedy, it also produced some of our greatest triumphs. You can't appreciate the achievements of Harriet Tubman and Frederick Douglass without the full context of the brutal world in which they lived. Escaping slavery wasn't a Jack Kerouac novel. But Shapiro thinks slavery isn't worthy of the solemn historical vow "never again." It's more like "that again?" (...)
Narcissists tend to possess exaggerated feelings of self-importance, excessive need for admiration, and a lack of empathy. Conservatives would call this patriotism. When their inflated self-concept is threatened, they isolate themselves and respond with outbursts of defiant rage. Conservative reactions to the 1619 Project have followed this predictable pattern.

It was a stiff ‘f--k you’ to those who routinely and sanctimoniously condemn prostitution and endorse freedom of expression only when it suits their own, highly-tailored ideas.  Hookers were trash and johns were retrograde, imbecilic, unwoke males who would never get it.  Offensive, brutally violent, aggressive images, solicited, paid for, and proudly displayed by those men who visited Phil’s were not included in freedom of expression.  Their speech because of the very nature of the speaker and before it even left their lips was dirty, unacceptable, and irresponsible. The movement to Open America is growing despite the pleas and Chicken Little fears of the progressive elites; and while it has been condemned by these elites as ignorant and murderous, populist hookers and tat parlor artists will not be shut up.

This might be the most revealing episode yet. We invited some long-time friends of ours (Big Mon of K-otix / The Legendary KO; MC Kwam / DJ Space Ghost of Seedz of Soul / Freedom Sold) to join us in a discussion about the one thing that brought us all together YEARS ago – music. More specifically, we talk about the life lessons and skills that we acquired while we were most active in music, and how we still apply some of those principles today. We also discover how scandalous D’Raye really is.
Oh, there's actually a playlist this week: K-OTIX / Seedz Of Soul - "Seedz of Chaos" Seedz of Soul - "Smile For The Camera" Freedom Sold - "Image of a Woman" Seedz of Soul - "Don't F*** Around" Freedom Sold - "F*** You First" Seedz Of Soul - "Classic"

Please keep us in your thoughts... We got the bright idea to let D'Raye bring up ANY topic that he wanted to discuss. And he did.
Also, friend of the show Tim Hall aka The People's Critic submitted questions for the "Love Jones" segment. Little did he know that it would take such a dark turn!
