quick , obligatory new year's eve post . thank you to everyone for always being so kind , accomodating , and amazing to me and welcoming me back from my third blog once again :pleading: . you guys make me so happy to write and i can't wait to continue to do so into the new year . i'm gonna b a little gay after this , but i want to give a special thanks 2 these people .

― MOST ACTIVE MUSE(S)? Judas throughout my 11ish years of RPing on and off this site. Cillian right now is a close second, followed by Ronan. At this point, I'm gonna give those two their own separate blogs once I find the time and energy to do so, and they may be more XIV-focused with other verses added in. Carmine is also a semi-active muse in my brain that unfortunately I'd have to debate about bringing him back since his fandom is dead in the RPC. Being part of some really niche fighting game isn't helpful for his case, I think.

― RP PET PEEVES? One-sided engagement - if I am throwing ideas at you and you're constantly give me the textbook equivalent of a nod, then I'll take it as a sign to spend my time elsewhere.

Getting ideas lifted off my muses or lore, which is super noticeable if someone's interacted with me and shortly after they start having similar ideas of their own. Inspiration is one thing, but it can just be incredibly frustrating when you have it happen to you in ways that you can't tell if it's them getting inspired or them having no creativity and using you as a stepping stone.

People not reading my rules or the information I have up, which isn't to say they need to memorize EVERYTHING. But essential things, I will notice. The first litmus test of following my blog is if you unironically refer to my character as Cillian OOC. I would probably just hardblock at that point, as it shows you didn't read my carrd enough to make a distinction.

― EXPERIENCE / HOW MANY YEARS? I have dabbled a bit in RPing on DeviantART from 2011-2012, but on Tumblr, I started in 2012-2013 with a different muse in a completely different fandom and in a different era of RPing. Judas was my second ever major blog that I made. Occasionally I look back at his very first blog, so what I'm building here is a recreation of those times. If you know you know.

― FLUFF, ANGST, OR SMUT? I have a big preference for angst, but can definitely do fluff. Can't write smut for a few reasons, but also it's just hard to write it.

― PLOTS OR MEMES? I prefer some plotting but can absolutely just wing it too! I definitely prefer memes for interaction, since there's little pressure to keep it going into a thread if we want and it serves as points of engagement imo.

― LONG OR SHORT REPLIES? I'm definitely on the shorter end of replies, from one-liners to a few paragraphs. I can't really do long threads for a consistent amount of time like I used to (hell I would argue I could never do them even back then).

― TIME TO WRITE? In the evening my time (PST). I'm otherwise busy with work, irl stuff or gaming. gotta get my daily frontlines kills

― ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S)? I used to think I had almost nothing in common with Judas but. We absolutely are more alike than meets the eye. Deep down, we're both petty and do things for Spite and Attention lmfao. A lot of the aesthetic I enjoy is also shoved onto him. Cillian shares my aesthetic for outfits and my love for collecting plushies, but nothing really more beyond that. Ronan has my love for extremely bland, white people food. Hilariously enough, I see the most of myself in Carmine despite him technically being a canon muse. Both of us have no idea what the hell is going on at all times, and all we know is that we're bored and pissed off and need to blow off steam. Also the color red. And blood.

EXPERIENCE / HOW LONG ( MONTHS / YEARS? ) : god i'm pretty sure since 2012 i've been RPing - from text RP via cell phones, to DeviantArt, to Forums, to Tumblr/Discord; I've been in the game for a minute.

BEST EXPERIENCE : ohhhhh man, there's so many. and although some feelings have swayed throughout the years, I definitely think the connections I've made through the RP scene are the best part of it. I've genuinely made long time friends through this hobby - people who i talk to on the daily about their lives, people who i've gone to visit personally and hang out with. at the end of the day, the connections made are the biggest and best thing i can get from a hobby. to build a community with great people around me.

RP PET PEEVES / DEALBREAKERS : to list a few specific ones (none are directly targeted, but I felt are relevant to me)

Deal Breaker: any weird hatred/blatant misogyny for fem/feminine ocs in the RPC. it's 2024 and i STILL be seeing people hate women or fem ocs so openly? why does this keep happening??? actually, scratch that - just general OC scrutiny drives me wild. most of y'all do know your favorite canon character is a OC who had higher production value, right? so why think most canons are better than ocs when we're all on the same playing field, ya know??

Pet Peeve: style over substance - i appreciate most aesthetics *motions to own blog* but i also have eyes that i need to read or see. I feel like i miss out on a lot of good blogs because i can't read their formatting on their blog or carrd and it's inaccessible :(

Small Pet Peeve: "I just go with the flow" - when I hear this, I usually see most plotting convos go dead in a matter of messages. lbr everybody, we all have dynamics or specific characters that catch our eyes or that we like. I'm so open about shipping and dynamics like, let's throw out something specific and see where that goes. THEN we can "go with the flow" but we can't flow without direction.

MUSE PREFERENCES FLUFF, ANGST OR SMUT : Yes.

PLOTS OR MEMES : plotting for me personally - only because I work a full time job outside of tumblr, and i typically won't have time to always write up a reply to a meme or a thread. I adore plotting and world building with my partners especially via discord, so I'd highly prefer that so then it's easier (and motivates me!) to reply to our threads in the process.

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES : I unfortunately can't do short replies for the life of me - like some people can do one liners so well, but I need to set the scene & actions. So, usually medium to longer replies.

BEST TIME TO WRITE : i try to reply to threads over the weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sundays) cause that's usually the times I have availability. On weekdays, I'd do memes or headcanons to keep activity up. My muse can be fickle, and although i love to write, I also love to write quality content for my partners so it will take me time.

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S) : each of my muses have a little aspect of me in them (which is unavoidable if i have the passion to write them) but none of them are me 100%. GOD, I hope none them are like me or I'm like them. some of these people are a fuckin mess.

THIS IS NOT A SPOILER FREE BLOG! i’m well aware that people are not aware of crazy fun town ( it's streaming on hulu ;) ). so, obviously, everyone is going to get spoiled. this blog will be horror heavy considering the series is about a bunch of different teenagers dying in gruesome ways in an amusement park & they are all spirits stuck there.

INFO UNDERCUT.

01. first things first, i am aware that a lot of people haven't seen crazy fun town. i highly recommend it. it'll make you laugh, it'll make you cry, it'll make you feel nostalgic. i digress because this will have a lot of horror aspects. a lot of the park kids died in really horrific ways. mapplethorpe ended up going to the abandoned park alone, climbing up a rollercoaster to take a picture with his cell phone and fell off the coaster platform, falling onto one of the stalls below. a lot of depressing topics will be mentioned considering mapplethorpe had died suddenly and he's a rather fresh ghost ( the other's being from the 80s - early 00s ) so he's learning to cope with his own death.

02. drama is not my thing. i avoid it in real life and you best believe i’m going to avoid it online, being that this is my hobby. i wont reblog callouts, but will read them. i’ll only reblog if the person is incredibly dangerous to make my followers be aware. no gross behavior with minor muses, either, thanks. don’t be transphobic, genderbend, whitewash, don’t be a racist asshole, don’t support n*zi imagery, don’t be a fucking dickhead.

03. oooooh i do love shipping! though, i do prefer a little bit of plotting beforehand. i think it’s very important to build a relationship ooc as well. i’m more comfortable to ship if we talk a little ooc.

04. i’m billie! i’ve thirty one years old and i’ve been apart of the rpc since late 2010. i’m an old lady. i’ve been around the block a few times. i work full time overnight ( twelve hour shifts ) at hospital & i have a lot of social obligations so i’m primarily mobile. most of my replies will be posted by queue due to this. my reply speed is slow and whilst i post a lot of ooc posts while at work & what not, it may sometimes take me a few days or even weeks to reply to a thread. patience is key! this is something i do whenever i want to destress and have fun.

//FOR FUCKING FUTURE REFERENCE, COLOR CHOICE IS ALSO IMPORTANT!! There is a god-damn reason I use plain black font, with white background. It's not because I'm boring, or because I don't care. It's because I do care, you rapid dogshit clout chasers.

//If I see another baby pastel blog with white background bitch and moan about people not reading their rules, I'm getting me mallet. People aren't following your rules not because they don't care, it's because your fucking blog is unreadable!! Cry more, maybe you'll wash out the colors enough to force a repaint.

Remember, kids, a rpc reply is not just reacting to what happens and sitting there like a viewer. You're an active participant. Add something! Throw in a new character, or a dead rat. Don't have an idea on where to progress the plot? Make it up on the fly! That's half the fun. Or, better idea TALK TO YOUR PARTNER!! USE YOUR FINGERS OR MOUTH OR WHATEVER TO EXPRESS WORDS AND IDEAS!!
